Wilbur said they didn't practice at all before this session, this is Tommy improvising jazz piano with only the basic cords for whichever song he's playing, he was just lucky he kinda knew the songs beforehand

You have to listen to the first EP and the newest song. Also, everything Tommy is playing is completely improvised, he just new the major notes, he also took singing classes before.

Second song is Sex sells and the last is Knee deep at atp, it’s was originally by los campesinos (Wil and Tommy’s favorite band) and got cover by lovejoy at the end of last year.

Tommy is a grade 5 jazz pianist and has done proper singing lessons for two years

Fun fact: perfume was originally not gonna be on the album. Tommy was the sole reason why it got included (i dont remember the details tho)

Tommy did play piano in a mall video with tubbo btw. I think that's were most people found out if not from fanmade compilations.

I don't know if it's the camera angle, but does Tommy look oddly younger than he usually does? Idk, that kinda distracted me xD
I'm usually not a big Lovejoy listener, it's not the type of music I'm into, but this video was still super wholesome and Tommy's and Wilbur's voice honestly work so well together
