I purchased the Six Shooter about a year ago but didn't install it. Was looking for install videos and it seems to not be a good product. I'll just leave it sit in my garage collecting dust. Thanks for the video.
It seems really odd that it doesn't work unless the truck is running especially if the six shooter control unit under the hood is wired directly to the battery! Must have something to do with that fuse tap device maybe it just needed to be plugged into a fuse that was not part of the start circuit in other words always hot? I think it was a good call to send it back. It would have been really cool to be able to grab that Bluetooth switch panel and take it with you to switch on your lights from wherever you're standing including up in your rooftop tent.
Yep! You could wire the yellow to always hot but then you risk killing your battery. I thought about running the yellow to a simple switch but its just too much work and this thing was over $300 so i went back to what i had.

Eh you might give it a shot. It really just wasnt for me. It just wasnt as good as i had hoped. Otherwise could probably toss it on ebay or something.
