Thanks to suggestions from my glorious audience, pinning this comment for others to see. A more damaging clan is Todo clan. If you don't mind taking full damage at full health (without honda), todo clan gave about 300 more damage (compared to what you see in the video), and 240 life at 48 stamina (495 at 99 stam). Also forgot to put Water Talisman in omnyo tree section of vid, you want that for more damage (or whatever element of your choice).
Thanks, Pwar. I've been Honda awhile, and somewhat active, ranked anywhere from 2-50 usually, but I'm curious about Todo's multiplier, being I run this as an alt to my 5 Kingo/4 MasterS, just with heaviest armor assignment. Currently at 11.8% skill dmg and I know it will climb to 14+ eventually, just don't know if it's worth giving up. So, under what conditions were those extra 300 dmg made? My guess is the base dmg of 8% from 4 heavies bumps skill damage as high, or higher in conjunction with skill dmg on Futatsu-mei, than Honda.
I'm sure if you're ranked higher already with honda just stick to it, but yah with the same back stab test to that oni when I compared king vs tata, I did 300+ more damage roughly. But fairly certain todo doesn't increase element so honda has that tiny advantage.
300 more with both setups? Fak me, so it's an all-around bump with the exception of first hit defense, tho a jucier hp bar does give incentive to topping stam.
Yo! PWAR i love the builds man went from Susano to Hurricane Titan an now* rocking Amaterasu, my friend was looking at this build has it been nerfed yet or does it still work great currently?
PWARGaming Am I right in assuming NG and beyond that gives you new sword skill options? Because I'm feeling cheated and a little light on half the attacks here
sharpnickelz When I saw the thumbnail and after I finished watching the video, that was exactly what I thought. The only name suitable for this build is clearly Santoryu
My tri sword build is also my current strongest build. It hits like a truck. I use kingos and master swordsmans armor but I will try this for sure. Great video as always.
wow appreciate it, but haven't really thought about setting anything up lol. I appreciate just people watching my videos, support has been amazing ^^ Thanks though, and have fun with that new character :)
Holy shit, didn't even think about that. I made this build and ended up using Katana way more than Dual. Haven't even touched spears since I got the game, now I can incorporate them into this build. Thanks for the Suggestion!
Yeah this is a great and easy build, been using this for a long time then switched to kingo, for max lvled ppl you prob want to go with the heavier pieces as chest/legs for more survival, and still maintaining B agility, and since ur using 4x heavy armor pieces the better Clan would probably be Todo, also if you can get fire damage on both accessories, then you might also wanne switch the ravenwing rifle for a cannon with fire damage, to maximize damage!
Good on the todo suggestion. Always forget masters is heavy. I prefer water over fire though, and stacking fire should have the same consequence as stacking lots of ccd, i.e. the boost will actually be less than you added. And you can get the same effects on accessories for water, meaning the only difference is cannon, and I doubt that "23%" would out damage water debuff.
Yeah as debuff water will always be better, but i meant just the raw damage you get from the elemental enchant thats added while you attack, without the debuff, since we kill things so fast anyway you arent really able to debuff them anyway, unless you use elemental shots or something, I managed to get like an added 2/3k fire damage with sign of the cross, it's not a whole lot, but for min/maxing, trying to get as much damage out with skills as possible, it still adds up
Best bird? Oh just you wait for the DLC. I'm sure they'll add a bird girl spirit, then the best bird war will begin :P I used water sword and whatever the skill is call on Kusarigama (same shit), but I switched to the spin to win crew a few weeks ago for easy use. Over all I really like the build, love the thumbnail and I think your editing has improved. Keep up the great content!
Quick note about Honda, the percentage listed is the CHANCE of taking half damage when at full life. Still excellent synergy with Protection Talismans, but I thought I should mention it.
I'm using master swords man and warrior of the west with the extra 32% close combat attack with electrified. Very like this only little different. Damage is crazy good
The reason swapping to familiarity does more damage is due to the flat increase on your base damage gives you a greater effect from your other multipliers than the single multiplier mid attack is giving you. for example lets say base 100 and you have mid attack 15% final blow 17% close combat 30% damage from behind 20% you get 100 x 1.15 x 1.17 x 1.3 x 1.2 = 209.9 or you could have base 100 and familiarity flat 20 damage you get 120 x 1.17 x 1.3 x 1.2 which = 219.0 you also want to spread your multipliers out as much as possible, stacking one to the expense of others will only reduce your damage e.g. 100 x 1.1 x 1.9 = 209 or 100 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 225 you can fairly easily make a spreadsheet using the stats the game gives you in the character screen to make it easy to work out your greatest damage gains sorry to go a bit mathy once the mechanics are understood its alot easier to work out what you want to do. Hope this helped.
math makes my head hurt. but interesting stuff, thanks for commenting. You say fam gives a flat bonus, however removing fam doesn't change the attack multiplier on wpn (or attack in general), so how do you know its a base? Finding what's considered separate from x multipliers is what's confusing to me, and finding the "flat", if there is any, is confusing too. How do you know what effects your base damage and by how much? forgive me if that sounds dumb but I'm legit stupid when it comes to math. I'm assuming you mean just adding everything to find what set combo gives more overall, but that changes when actual damage is present, depending on the bonuses. as mentioned, 100 x 1.24 should equal 124 damage dealt, however if both are separate by half as you say, so 100 x 1.12 x 1.12, should give 125. BUT, it does not. it's less than that in actual combat. It gives less than even the 124. Meanwhile, 100 x 1.12 = 112, it gives its full damage it says in combat. SO stacking more than 1 of the same effect results in less damage. THAT'S what I'm most curious about. Multiplying all them like you did as whole, assuming all are the same numbers, would be wrong (I'd imagine.) as 1.20 ccd vs 1.20 of from behind damage, are not equal if the ccd 1.20 is made by two separate sources, while fbd is 1 source. So adding them up would be wrong, and then multiplying would be worse (since it yields higher numbers than adding). So its not as simple as multiplying stats from stat effects menu.
Hey can either of you add me and see what the heck I"m doing wrong with my build? I'm level 550+ and I don't put out half of what these numbers are :( Kingo x5, Sanada x1, final blow damage 24.7%, cta A+ (level 99), familiarity dmg A+, agility A+. I just don't understand... psn hitomi0526
As far as I understand it though i may well be mistaken, you get flat gains from +attack +elemental damage. and also change to attack agility and familiarity type bonuses which are calculated based on your investment and rating of these. This is whats called additive damage. These all get pooled together before your Multiplicative damage (%multipliers) are applied. Nioh in general doesn't make it easy to get the exact numbers. These numbers are 100% wrong but will make it easy to explain you Have 100 skill A+ CTA gives you 100% as flat damage so 100 base A gives you 70% so 70 B gives you 50% so 50 C gives you 30% so 30 the amount you invest into skill will effect the flat amount gained from CTA then that is added to the gain from each other addative skill gain. to make your final base damage. This is where your Multiplicative numbers come in, these are not added together, your base damage gets multiplied by the sum of all your stacked % of one then the result from this gets multiplied by the next and so on... This is why you want to spread them out. Using your example there, you have the choice of getting 2 lots of CCD both valuing 20% to total 40% or a 1.4 multiplier altenativly you can go 20% CCD and 20% DFB this = 1.2 x 1.2 or a 1.44 multiplier. this kind of mechanic works across most MMO/rpg type games so can be applied in alot of situations once you are familiar with it. unfortunatly gotta go to work so notime to explain further but if you are still unsure i'll check back tonight
I really appreciate the help. If there is anyway you have some free time tonight to help me out please add me. I'll be spamming all night :) psn hitomi 0526
James Royston James Royston hey dude I don't play anymore but to get those numbers he does a good job explaining what stats you want and why for your weapons in the video. If your weapon is not +10 yet that makes a huge difference. Aside from that the easy to miss stuff is having +attack on all armour pieces which is pretty major. (Stat swap from gloves) and also accessories have Yokai close combat damage is huge bonus but need to farm a lot for this as you can't swap. And the A+ agility on your primary ranged weapon. For the rest just follow the video. Pop extraction and carnage hit once for the tengen buff to activate then go nuts
People keep telling me it's not needed, and that I shouldn't care about this stuff... But I do. I just started playing Nioh, and I am nearing the end of the main campaign NG. I went in already hellbent on using one katana or two as a backup weapon, nothing else. A pure, simple melee build focusing on fast, swift attacks with a non-stop aggression in mind. Yet I am told I do not need to play according to any build yet, I still like doing so. This looks damn good, the only thing I am curious of, is if I can use the One Eyed Dragon with this. I really like the playstyle it brings, as well as me using a bunch of Guardian Spirit Talismans on regular basis to inflict elemental damage. Can it work? Great video! I love your build videos, dude!
Also, I mainly enjoy using Wind/Water as my element of choice, as my buddy which I intend to co-op with (he is coming from Ps4 to PC with me) uses a very tank focused fire build, and I just like the idea of me being a supportive burst damage dealer of sorts alongside his fire dot.
onmyo mostly sucks, and applying elemental depends boss to boss. you could do wind with dragon eye set, but that set pails in comparison to damage of this setup. the wind damage is pretty irrelevant, wpn elemental dmg is so much weaker than phsyical. However, you can use tengu fans to apply wind, and geyser onmyo to apply water for confusion, which will boost dmg (and reduce).
You will also deal more damage if you get a change to attack on it from a stat that isn't on the weapon multiplier I have a kursagama that puts attack very close to 2k at 160 +10 :)
So...you had 99 body+skill+dex, switched cta a+ dex TO cta a+ str with 99 str, which isn't a multiplier of kusa, and got more damage? Were they the same cta's? as there's an A- at 0 fam, then there's a different one that's A at 0 fam, A giving more attack.
yah its weird, but I guess it promotes diversity a bit. Windstorm lw would probably be as good as kusa blade spin lw if they changed it so you can put them on any stance.
i tested the thing that mentioned on the video about having close combat damage from 2 different set resulting into lesser damage than what it should and man it really is!!! i have 2 close combat damage from 2 different set 12.2% + 10.9% and i end up only doing about 17% more damage losing about 6% of what i should be doing. this suckss man i hope devs knows about this :/
and you have proof that this isnt a glitch? bcuz almost everything in the game adds perfectly fine and has no diminishing return especially the Close Combat Damage perk since u can get that in weapons armors and clans. but oddly enough only the perk from the armor does this? there has been glitches in the game that people thought werent like for examples the lvl 320 weapons so you cant say that this isnt one of them.
nope they didnt say that. what they said was that it was intended for someone to craft a weapon higher than 150 BUT it was NEVER intended to be that high as 320. like it was intended for the CCD perk on the armor to be additive but MAYBE it wasnt intended for it to have your so call "diminishing return". that's why it was "fixed" because it was glitchy :/ thats why they lowered it to the intended level instead of getting rid of it all together.
oh and btw since you seem to know alot RPG games then shouldn't you have known that in mmo"RPG" games, glitches always get fixed and not removed? like for example the raid boss Crota on the first Destiny DLC had a glitch which people could exploit, u mean to say they need to remove the boss?? or just fix the glitch?? hahahah
Hi i'm from Argentina and i allways follow your build's, excelent job man. Can i make you a question? Minimun stats for this build? Im 150 lvl. Skill over heart? What i supose to priorize?
you said at 8:05: ua-cam.com/video/yPapBFvCTHE/v-deo.htmlm5s after u get the minimum stats put the rest into heart and strength till 99, did u mean heart and skill?
no, skill was already 99. I meant if you had my exact stats at 285, the level BEYOND that point would be put into heart+str to 99, as they weren't 99. Skill is the first you'd want to be 99 if you don't have 99 in anything.
Awesome videos bro. One question though, you talk like the bonuses on both weapons apply all the time, but I understood for ranged weapons only applied for the "equipped" weapon. Is the converse true for close combat weapons, so both apply all the time?
hmm not sure if I understand your question. Ranged weapon has to be selected/equipped for it to effect your equipped weapon, but it can effect both. Your secondary wpn doesn't effect your main at all though. i imagine if you had agility damage bonus on your main weapon it would effect your equipped ranged weapon if that's what you mean.
Got it. I think I misunderstood your video. I'd thought you were saying that say, if you had agility or even final blow on your secondary melee weapon, it would affect your primary melee weapon. Which would have been amazing. But probably a little OP. I understand the ranged weapon thing.
Not really, least I haven't tried. DLC didn't add much to improve on this, you'd probably get more damage stats, and a higher wpn lvl, otherwise keep stuff the same. Adding consecutive attack or fam a+ instead of guard ki or ki reduction would be best for wpn. Basically just improving stats on everything.
Dragon slayer Ornstein make sure you don't any other damage modifiers on your weapon because it will interfere with skill damage and not let you roll it
Nice work. Any chance you could drop your revenant somewhere with your Futatsu-Mei equipped? I am having a difficult time farming a seven slot w/ CTA(SKILL).
it cramps my hands sometimes though haha I wish draw moves were a hold button instead (same goes for wpn buffs, skills like rage are awkward to do sometimes, least for me)
I can definitely understand that. I used to play a lot of fighting games so I'm sort of used to doing weird inputs quickly, but my pointer and thumb still get tired after too much Sign of the Cross.
I always thought that familiarity bonus meant that your familiarity is stronger there for more damage not that it help gain familiarity on your set pieces. Is that accurate or am I in the wrong?
PWARGaming Nice video as usual! I know you briefly mentioned it in your description but how does this compare to blender with kato and tata set just seems windstorm has less build up animation and you can spam it faster and stats wise also are you saying mix and matching is better now so having ccd and skill damage together is the way to go.
With blender you'd want kara-jishi, pretty sure it still deals more damage than kato. And yah I honestly had the same feeling, you could windstorm twice in the same time it takes to sign of cross twice. But sotc can knock humans down (see marobashi clip) and also doesn't "push" things away like windstorm, so either or works well enough.
im so confused in this game. I'm trying to figure out a way to get at least acceptable damage on NG+ and everything just seems so sluggish. I feel like its taking my a million hits to kill one yokai and I'm at like level 136. i don't think i understand this game at all.
everything is viable, just don't expect to do the same damage. But yes, just lower the "99" stats lower to fit your lvl. So get everything else first, like magic/dex/spirit, stats to wear armor at b agility, then whatever you have left, dump into skill :)
PWARGaming awesome. thanks for the info man. will have to set this up once I farm the west bow. i really want to do a axe tank build but tanks dont die. so its kind of hard to farm the pieces for it through rev kills :\ keep the vids coming brother. love the content :)
30 is the hard cap for how much jutsu/onmyo you can equip. You want as much onmyo as possible to that's why. You can go lower, but you'll equip less, like maybe only 1-2 carnage instead of 3, 1-2 steel instead of 3, etc.
on the first build you said you had 3 warrior of the west, 3 master swordsman and 3 tatenashi. I counted 2 tatenashi and 1 yatagarusa. just wondering if I was missing something?
I mean the bonus, so 4 west/master + 3 tatenashi BONUS (as in their set effects). With yasakani, yah it's 2 master (+2kat), 1 west (+bow&sword), and 2 tata equipped.
True, but since I have 3 characters honda's my pick almost always (since you can't have different clans for different characters). Todo's great though. You do lose the 40% reduction at full however, and at 48 stam todo only gives 240 life. Would be nice to compare the damage between 4xheavy todo vs honda.
Bout equal. holding triangle's easier than spamming triangle (water sword) or r1+circle twice(sotc), and killing any small stuff in one hit with axe is easier. I prefer Mastodon over this build but it can easily swing in either direction depending on your taste.
The combinations shown are the highest you can get without critical (fanatic 2pc). I've tested all others, from west/yata/master to east+master. tata beats all of them from the front/sides, and kingo rains supreme from behind (kek).
I play with no set bonuses and my swords are lvl 150+10 at 1625 on attack power and I'm level 201 with 99skill 66heart as my mains , I'm curious if I need to start using some set bonuses or if I need to jus keep leveling up to gain more attack power?
Set bonuses are what make builds imo, and you'll gain a lot more damage from them than leveling up, especially if you already have 99 in the main stat (dual swords is skill). You'll certainly kill faster with set bonuses, as normal armor usually sucks and only helms really have good effects.
tachibana in kyushu. Keep killing him till you get his stuff (sword+bow). Shoot in head as soon as get in, run up and deliver a final blow, use guardian spirits with mizuchi and keep dealing final blows, piece of cake :)
Sure, if you're in NG+ with enough stamina to bear the armor weight. But highly unlikely being that by the time you are able to viably farm and soul match enough high lvl divines to max your weapons, you'll probably be a higher lvl anyway.
forged. Most of my characters are balls deep in hours so I have nearly every smithing text. Marobashi is perfect mission to farm for it since you can kill dual swords master, if no drop/text, die to next master and repeat till they drop.
Soon as you can, definitely ng+ obviously, but you get the stuff as you progress. ex. The build can be made around Region 3-4 ng+, since that's when you can get master swordsman set divine. Rest of gear can be found in region 1, or region 2 if you go kingo variant. Lvl just needs to be able to wear eveything and use all the magic/ninjutsu/spirit, after that, invest into dmg.
first 3 are unlocked by default, the rest are unlocked after completing pretty much every mission (main and sub). Like to unlock imo region, you need 80% of the main/sub missions of all regions completed in ng+.
I really thought I would buy this game, but when I see that the top builds run through the game without effort I really see no long time motivation to play it. Whats the point after you beat the game once? I like the combat system, but I don't know if it's enough.
Looks like you missed the dlc info/update then. Even the best builds will get challenged on way of the demon (dlc extra hard mode). You grind loot and gear and become almighty perfect, that's partly the point. Also you don't have to use a top build, play what you want, have all the challenge YOU want.
Is there another point except loot for going Ng+/++? I mean if you play no top build Ng difficulty seems fine. Getting instakilled is totally fine for NG. There's no thing over instakilled. I watched your video for Way of Demon Dlc and yeah it's harder, but it looked like Ng difficulty for top builds (my perspective). I want to like this game like I do with Souls, but something is blocking the path.
I'm still in my first play through... is there any build that currently works and is powerful through the first play through? I'm just now struggling my way through Sekigahara region and tend to rely on summoning powerful people to help me.
Dead Zone can try the attack from back build, which requires you to get the bat spirit, the build is relatively easy to handle, and kingo set is generally easy to obtain.
more damage than ccd, mostly spam skills anyways, so might as well get the damage. I used sword for final blows so losing that dmg from 2kats wasn't a big deal.
nice videos but I can never make anything you have... most people are lower level than you. Please consider making a build for people around level 130-150.
30 magic, 14 dex, spirit 22-25, then whatever stamina needed to wear sets, and rest of pointslevels you gain from there on put into main damage stat. That's all that's required. My builds can be done at low level, but you're damage won't be the same, and that's obvious. If you want a dual swords build my blender build can be done at low level since you aren't required to need high stamina/str, just take points out of skill.
ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora
Basically :p Wanted a more streamlined name like my blender and susanoo so figured stryker sounded nice for easy recognition, if you wanted to tell someone about the build or know what build they're using. Though I suppose "Zoro" could have worked well enough.
its the only thing that made the channel decently popular (on a microscopic level), and I'm still learning and building better stuff, thus still having a bit of fun. Unsure what other games people liked to see from me, but its my style I'm used too. I usually stick to one game for looong periods of time (also very little money to throw around). Game definitely got duller however and May 2nd for dlc/pvp made me cry inside a bit xD
Thanks to suggestions from my glorious audience, pinning this comment for others to see. A more damaging clan is Todo clan. Wow! You did it again! Awesome build! I'd dub this the Santoryu (Three-Sword Style, Roronoa Zoro) build. lol.
sharpnickelz When I saw the thumbnail and after I finished watching the video, that was exactly what I thought.
The only name suitable for this build is clearly Santoryu
Maybe that's because Santoryu means Three sword style -_-
Oh my gosh this vid is so perfect I literally love the music theme and the build thank you dude

Finaly a build that doesnt require low heath to rinse demons :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Gonna start a new game with Nioh after work today!
Infact if you have a donation button ill throw some money at you for making this build! #Eastern #makeluve!
wow appreciate it, but haven't really thought about setting anything up lol. I appreciate just people watching my videos, support has been amazing ^^ Thanks though, and have fun with that new character :)
once again you have made an epic build good job man I watch all your vids each one is great keep up the good work!
thanks a lot! Appreciate the support and look forward to continuing making content for people to enjoy :)
Awesome build, I'm really looking forward to the kusa build. Love the videos bro. Subscribed.
Oh this is so sick, I can't wait to try it out
As usual another master piece from you,,, you're the best ,,, =D
half us plebs stopped watching by the end of the intro, I myself am glad I took the time and knowledge to SKIPTHATSHIT
i did this build with spear replacing master swordsman with Japan's bravest (armor of the exceptional and oni sakon) and its great!!
Holy shit, didn't even think about that. I made this build and ended up using Katana way more than Dual. Haven't even touched spears since I got the game, now I can incorporate them into this build. Thanks for the Suggestion!
I like that OST in the beginning.

Can i get the soundtrack please?
i knew the god of war looks down was good. great vid
thanks :)
Where's new build video... come on dude... Still waiting
Damage is crazy good
could you try a high level spear dual sword hybrid. probably use red demon and master swordsman sets.
What is the soundtrack title in the montage please
The reason swapping to familiarity does more damage is due to the flat increase on your base damage gives you a greater effect from your other multipliers than the single multiplier mid attack is giving you.
for example lets say base 100 and you have mid attack 15% final blow 17% close combat 30% damage from behind 20% you get 100 x 1.15 x 1.17 x 1.3 x 1.2 = 209.9
or you could have base 100 and familiarity flat 20 damage you get 120 x 1.17 x 1.3 x 1.2 which = 219.0
you also want to spread your multipliers out as much as possible, stacking one to the expense of others will only reduce your damage
e.g.
100 x 1.1 x 1.9 = 209
or
100 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 225
you can fairly easily make a spreadsheet using the stats the game gives you in the character screen to make it easy to work out your greatest damage gains
sorry to go a bit mathy once the mechanics are understood its alot easier to work out what you want to do.
Hope this helped.
math makes my head hurt. but interesting stuff, thanks for commenting.
These numbers are 100% wrong but will make it easy to explain
you Have 100 skill
A+ CTA gives you 100% as flat damage so 100 base
A gives you 70% so 70
B gives you 50% so 50
C gives you 30% so 30
the amount you invest into skill will effect the flat amount gained from CTA
then that is added to the gain from each other addative skill gain. to make your final base damage.
This is where your Multiplicative numbers come in, these are not added together, your base damage gets multiplied by the sum of all your stacked % of one then the result from this gets multiplied by the next and so on... This is why you want to spread them out.
Using your example there, you have the choice of getting 2 lots of CCD both valuing 20% to total 40% or a 1.4 multiplier
altenativly you can go 20% CCD and 20% DFB this = 1.2 x 1.2 or a 1.44 multiplier.
this kind of mechanic works across most MMO/rpg type games so can be applied in alot of situations once you are familiar with it.
unfortunatly gotta go to work so notime to explain further but if you are still unsure i'll check back tonight
I love the damage you do i remember when i did that much i was called a liar from all your fans smh lol
hi can you make a build in this patch ?
You will also deal more damage if you get a change to attack on it from a stat that isn't on the weapon multiplier I have a kursagama that puts attack very close to 2k at 160 +10 :)
So...you had 99 body+skill+dex, switched cta a+ dex TO cta a+ str with 99 str, which isn't a multiplier of kusa, and got more damage? Were they the same cta's? as there's an A- at 0 fam, then there's a different one that's A at 0 fam, A giving more attack.
Ahh ok ty for the info keep doing what you do :)
which build is the best build for a level 130?
Could you show us some combo's for this build ?
one thing that I dislike about dual swords is that 2/3 main dps skills are high stance only, so you cant use both at the same time.
yah its weird, but I guess it promotes diversity a bit. Windstorm lw would probably be as good as kusa blade spin lw if they changed it so you can put them on any stance.
PWARGaming yeah. that is probably why
i tested the thing that mentioned on the video about having close combat damage from 2 different set resulting into lesser damage than what it should and man it really is!!! i have 2 close combat damage from 2 different set 12.2% + 10.9% and i end up only doing about 17% more damage losing about 6% of what i should be doing. this suckss man i hope devs knows about this :/
and you have proof that this isnt a glitch? bcuz almost everything in the game adds perfectly fine and has no diminishing return especially the Close Combat Damage perk since u can get that in weapons armors and clans. but oddly enough only the perk from the armor does this? there has been glitches in the game that people thought werent like for examples the lvl 320 weapons so you cant say that this isnt one of them.
nope they didnt say that. what they said was that it was intended for someone to craft a weapon higher than 150 BUT it was NEVER intended to be that high as 320. like it was intended for the CCD perk on the armor to be additive but MAYBE it wasnt intended for it to have your so call "diminishing return". that's why it was "fixed" because it was glitchy :/ thats why they lowered it to the intended level instead of getting rid of it all together.
oh and btw since you seem to know alot RPG games then shouldn't you have known that in mmo"RPG" games, glitches always get fixed and not removed? like for example the raid boss Crota on the first Destiny DLC had a glitch which people could exploit, u mean to say they need to remove the boss?? or just fix the glitch?? hahahah
Hi i'm from Argentina and i allways follow your build's, excelent job man. Can i make you a question? Minimun stats for this build? Im 150 lvl. Skill over heart? What i supose to priorize?
SANTORYU!!!
buenas noche solo hablas ingles ? quisiera hacerte unas preguntas ya que no doy para poder hacer daño .. no se si sera mi lvl o q ...
you said at 8:05:
ua-cam.com/video/yPapBFvCTHE/v-deo.htmlm5s
after u get the minimum stats put the rest into heart and strength till 99, did u mean heart and skill?
no, skill was already 99. I meant if you had my exact stats at 285, the level BEYOND that point would be put into heart+str to 99, as they weren't 99. Skill is the first you'd want to be 99 if you don't have 99 in anything.
what do you put points into if skill, heart, and strength are already at 200?
What do I max out after I do all those in the video
Just going to guess that LW builds are still the strongest.
For sure, specifically kusa cuz blade spin is roflstomp.
what is LW?
living weapon.
ShouVertica Yeah, but they started to get boring as fk.
Most builds rely on one or two skills, and Kusa's Blade Spin is no exception. I also like to throw a Leaping Strike in against Revenants.
2019 updates?
Love your vids. Are you going to do an update dual swords build for the new content?
as a question what should be a good 2nd spirit to use with this?
nice video 👍👍👍
Nice vid.
any update to this with the 1.08 patch?
Not really, least I haven't tried. DLC didn't add much to improve on this, you'd probably get more damage stats, and a higher wpn lvl, otherwise keep stuff the same. Adding consecutive attack or fam a+ instead of guard ki or ki reduction would be best for wpn. Basically just improving stats on everything.
Its so hard now to reforge for anything good plus they killed trading. Btw you making an odachi build??
all i keep getting is skill ki damage. It never gives me skill damage.
Dragon slayer Ornstein make sure you don't any other damage modifiers on your weapon because it will interfere with skill damage and not let you roll it
Well shit! Didn't even think about that. Thanks man
Dragon slayer Ornstein google Nioh reforge spreadsheet and you can see what you can roll and can't roll on the same weapon.
Thanks i've just been winging it this whole time. This is honestly the first video i've watched on this game.
did you find the spreadsheet? and no worries! also if you need any more help with Nioh go on reddit.com/r/Nioh
Nice work. Any chance you could drop your revenant somewhere with your Futatsu-Mei equipped? I am having a difficult time farming a seven slot w/ CTA(SKILL).
Is there a tatenashi smithing text? I noticed your str and stam reqs to use it were half of that on the pieces I've farmed.
Yes, from return of the gourd. Description has most of the info you need for obtaining stuff.
Oh, that montage...I see you saw a couple of my vids lol
Nice build tho
Oh you're the one that did the marobashi vid, yah that's the only one I saw since it was on gamefaqs one time I think haha pretty cool technique :3
PWARGaming Yeah, I hope more people start learning how to do it, then we might see more Sign of the Cross! Tired of seeing Windstorm lol
it cramps my hands sometimes though haha I wish draw moves were a hold button instead (same goes for wpn buffs, skills like rage are awkward to do sometimes, least for me)
I can definitely understand that.
PWARGaming
Nice video as usual!
But sotc can knock humans down (see marobashi clip) and also doesn't "push" things away like windstorm, so either or works well enough.
does this still work lol
What's better dual swords or kusarigama (patch 1.21)
im so confused in this game. I'm trying to figure out a way to get at least acceptable damage on NG+ and everything just seems so sluggish. I feel like its taking my a million hits to kill one yokai and I'm at like level 136. i don't think i understand this game at all.
Dankbleachman u are only level 136 in ng+. All missions past like the first region are level 200+, and near the end like almost 400.
Super late but what sword and dual swords are those called and where do I get them?
The dual swords are from the master swordsman set. Katana is from the Warrior of the west set.
love your vids brother! I'm halfway through way of the strong. I'm at lvl 154. love the look of this build. is it viable at my lvl?
everything is viable, just don't expect to do the same damage. But yes, just lower the "99" stats lower to fit your lvl. So get everything else first, like magic/dex/spirit, stats to wear armor at b agility, then whatever you have left, dump into skill :)
PWARGaming awesome. thanks for the info man. will have to set this up once I farm the west bow. i really want to do a axe tank build but tanks dont die. so its kind of hard to farm the pieces for it through rev kills :\ keep the vids coming brother. love the content :)
why warrior of the west 3set ? Tiger sprint LOL or is it only the 4set bonus are we really ignoring that tiger sprint buff ???
He has the 4 set pieces bonus from 3 WotW pieces (the katana, the bow and the chest armor) and a Yasakani Magatama.
How do you build that ? And to have a fast attacking speed? I need some tips to make a build just like that. Will you help me please?
Huh, we seem to have thought up pretty much the same build. This is basically what i run, but... well, better.
Why does magic need to be at 30:??
30 is the hard cap for how much jutsu/onmyo you can equip. You want as much onmyo as possible to that's why. You can go lower, but you'll equip less, like maybe only 1-2 carnage instead of 3, 1-2 steel instead of 3, etc.
Any news on when the first dlc is out ?
benjiskitts it's said to be released on May 2nd along with free PVP mode
Is this build viable for Way of the Wise and beyond? Or is it just good for looking like a boss while slam dunking on Way of the Samurai bosses?
He's level 285 in the video so I'm assuming it is
on the first build you said you had 3 warrior of the west, 3 master swordsman and 3 tatenashi.
PWARGaming that's what I was thinking but just wanted to make sure, thank you.
Man, how could you do damage from behind of the helmet? Congrats on the video.
oh thats what I also use except im sticking to Todo clan for the glorified HP pool
True, but since I have 3 characters honda's my pick almost always (since you can't have different clans for different characters). Todo's great though. You do lose the 40% reduction at full however, and at 48 stam todo only gives 240 life. Would be nice to compare the damage between 4xheavy todo vs honda.
Is this dual sword better at dealing with yokai than the tank? for humans I prefer single sword build
Bout equal. holding triangle's easier than spamming triangle (water sword) or r1+circle twice(sotc), and killing any small stuff in one hit with axe is easier. I prefer Mastodon over this build but it can easily swing in either direction depending on your taste.
Is the damage made with this build higher then with your close combat 4?
Maik Lorenz wrong youtuber bro
Oh yes... You're right ^^ my fault. Sorry
Where can you get the Warrior of the West bow? D:
tachibana in kyushu. Keep killing him till you get his stuff (sword+bow). Shoot in head as soon as get in, run up and deliver a final blow, use guardian spirits with mizuchi and keep dealing final blows, piece of cake :)
I'm only level 122 can I still use this?
Sure, if you're in NG+ with enough stamina to bear the armor weight. But highly unlikely being that by the time you are able to viably farm and soul match enough high lvl divines to max your weapons, you'll probably be a higher lvl anyway.
What is that first mission with multiple bosses in succession?
hyakki yagyo in omi region
did you pick up your futasu dual sword or did you forge it?
forged. Most of my characters are balls deep in hours so I have nearly every smithing text. Marobashi is perfect mission to farm for it since you can kill dual swords master, if no drop/text, die to next master and repeat till they drop.
Nice
yeah i have almost every smithing text to at level 750. wish there was more content before dlc
How do people be finding these builds. Like at what level do you start farming and such.
When you unlock NG+ can you visit any region or do you have to replay the whole campaign as if it was the first time again?
first 3 are unlocked by default, the rest are unlocked after completing pretty much every mission (main and sub).
Dead Zone any build works on the first playthrough, you won't be as powerful as you see in these videos until you get divine gear
Dead Zone can try the attack from back build, which requires you to get the bat spirit, the build is relatively easy to handle, and kingo set is generally easy to obtain.
why skill damage over CCD on your dual swords?
more damage than ccd, mostly spam skills anyways, so might as well get the damage. I used sword for final blows so losing that dmg from 2kats wasn't a big deal.
Sandei seki!!!
nice videos but I can never make anything you have... most people are lower level than you.
3:12 why do you do it again whyyyyyyyy
She became a masochist after the first beating.
Jesus fuck lol I do 402 damage and I feel good......I WANT THIS
ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora
Roronoa Zoro build.
Basically :p Wanted a more streamlined name like my blender and susanoo so figured stryker sounded nice for easy recognition, if you wanted to tell someone about the build or know what build they're using. Though I suppose "Zoro" could have worked well enough.
:)))) niceeeeeeeeeeeeee ;)
Too bad you can't have green hair...
Next game should have character customization, that's my kind of shit.
PWARGaming you’re lucky, it does.
dude . the game so dry need more contents. and u keep uploading i don't get it
its the only thing that made the channel decently popular (on a microscopic level), and I'm still learning and building better stuff, thus still having a bit of fun. Unsure what other games people liked to see from me, but its my style I'm used too. I usually stick to one game for looong periods of time (also very little money to throw around). Game definitely got duller however and May 2nd for dlc/pvp made me cry inside a bit xD
PWARGaming yeah actually u set up already. now u can get even more people by including same kinds of games . any way good luck.
wack
I see you are a man of culture as well, my damage ain't got shit in that tho lmao
SANTORYU!!!
