November 2019 now and i play Nioh for 2 weeks. searched for some good Odatchi builds and i found this video. I use this build as wel now and i must say.....Hell yah. this is perfect. i'm wrecking al monsters now. Love the editing on this.
Man I love this build I changed a couple of stuff but not that much but I’m having so much fun..just tearing everyone a new one , thank you for this build and raijin is one of my favorite gods lol
Thanks for another great build man, also your making me love this weapon now haha never really like big but slow weapons and congrats on 5k once again keep up the awesome work @PWARGaming
just an FYI for your upcoming kunai build, kunai is OP for killing Yokai. Humans are another story though (at least for me I just use the dual swords for them and either windstorm or the shrike). Odachi is my next build I'm going to work on. this is a great starting point for me to work from. You're still the best Nioh content on youtube IMO.
Andrew Richardson I have a kunai/shuriken build on my 2nd character and I pretty much breezed through Way of the Demon. The trick to kill humans fast with a build like that is to get far way from them without unlocking the target, there's a point where you keep throwing kunai and shuriken and they don't block.
that's great! the hole game i've played with my katana and now i changed to odachi and look for a built to beat maria (my new archenemy) and some other bosses in the game. thank's for that :D
The Amaterasu build still works pretty good in WOTD, currently in Omni region, just getting bored with it. Been debating between trying kunai spam or an odachi build, but this build looks awesome so you might have made up my mind for me and congrats on the 5k.
Nice to see it working, haven't tried it in demon yet. but yah this build's a little more interactive and versatile than just block+square/triangle. And thanks ^^
ccd yes, not skill, you can only have one or the other. I don't use skills much at all, so ccd or mid attack is vastly better than skill, which is the opposite for kusa blade spin since you just spam that and its a skill. This one you spam quick/strong attacks.
Was unsure whether I should go for this build or not. I did a mock and everything. Well last night I decided to finally go for it and while i'm still not on par with your character. I went from struggling in WOTD in the second region to skipping all the missions and going straight for hundred eyes. Him and the kelly clones didn't stand a chance. WOTW here I come.
Sweet build man! can't wait to give it a shot. i had been wanting to try odachis out but honestly, I was kinda waiting for videos like this and the Seiryu, though I kinda like electricity more. thanks for the vid, grats on the 5k sub milsetone and a question: whats the name of that song that you have playing through the montage at the beginning?
Good lord, you are on a roll! XD Looks like fully optimized Amaterasu cleared the yokai bosses slightly faster, especially when you used reaper...you just ate through their health in 2 seconds, and that isn't including some of the new affixes that can be rolled on gear now. However, it would seem this Raijin build may be better against human bosses...
I was never a big fan of LW builds like the Amaterasu, spamming the same skill over and over is boring as hell so that's why im running your Santoryuu build on my main character with some tweaks to suit my playstyle. But this...this LW build is purely badass and fun to play with, now I have to create a 3rd character to play with this build...I BLAME IT ON YOU!!! xD Seriously, good job PWAR this build looks amazing and fun as hell.
lol then you'll have the same amount of chars as me xD But yah, i didn't even demonstrate you can switch stances in a lw (probably glitch, last only a few secs before resetting to mid-stance), unfortunately too stronk to demonstrate it. Basically you dodge twice back after then attack, use square or strong attack, then follow up with another attack and you'll switch to high/low depending on the multiple skills you have assigned for switching stances.
Dude I love builds that basically just insta kill everything as soon as it goes out of stamina or falls over. I fucking love going all "Omae wa mou shindeiru" on their asses
Will have to try this out because I knew I would find a strong Odachi build eventually. But I still can't let go of my Atlas Bear axe build because I love it even though it has flaws. Kunai storm sounds amazing. After that I would like to see something very heavily magic focused.
In the Dragon of the North Preview Video you ask so nice for Support, that I decided to come back (although my Nioh Break) and turn (first time) Addblock off and drop a like and Subscribe, to support you. Keep the good Work going, stay as you are and I'm sure your Channel grown up very fast. One Wish I have indeed: make a few Vids about Games you play also (maybe The Surge, which I will buy tomorrow) Best regards from Germany and sorry for my bad English - I'm a Crowd Potatoa ;)
Whats your Opinion 'bout The Surge, Guys????! I liked (not loved;)Lords of the fallen. My loved Ones: All about Souls, Nier, Ninja Gaiden etc. ....and of course Nioh!
This is amazing! Really making me consider Odachi. I'm so tired of my attack from behind build since they destroyed Haze with the DLC. I'm so broke, in-game, not really having trouble with Way of the Demon but the fun is dead. Are you making a Dual Katana build anytime soon? Like Wind for example? Because I'm thinking how it would be with One Eyed Dragon & Master Swordsman build. 45% Wind from set and 45% from Reforging on a wind dual weapon kind of build. What do you think? Forgot if I asked you this or another channel. Hahaha!
dual swords probably not anytime soon, there's just nothing interesting to do with them besides star effect sign of cross, and usual stryker setup or kingo+mater setup. elemental damage is a trap, it sucks. You can never get elemental decent enough to be worth it, and spirits or element shots are better at applying element. I think date set sucks outside of mad spinner potential. It can work...just not the most efficient and powerful.
PWARGaming Yeah, I see your point. I just really want to step away from Single Katana so bad after the nerf, that I almost want to try anything. But it seems Kingo's + Master Swordsman combo is the best for Dual still, and Sign of the Cross is still the main damage skill. I love your videos, btw, can't wait to see what you'll do next that's not LW. I might just go with this build just to change things up a bit.
The weapon(Usami Nagamitsu), is really important? Because i got a sick Bloodstained Cleaver with CHANGE TO ATACK(STR) and everything.. I would like to know also if the FAMILIARITY DAMAGE BONUS is better than ENEMIES DEFEATED DAMAGE BONUS. Thank you and keep doing this great work bro, your videos are great! =)
Rodrigo Nascimento familiarity damage bonus is MUCH better than enemies defeated bonus and one of the best stats on a weapon, giving about 16% damage bonus with A+ (A?)
Hey I'm just starting out on Nioh coming from Nioh 2. Did Dual swords light armor so in my nioh run I'm looking to have an opposite feeling. Is this build something I can achieve in new game? I see all your stuff is divine so I'm curious. Ide love to rock this set up. How long would it take to achieve if so?
Hey man, love all the build vids, keep 'em coming! I was tempted to try out Odachi and try out a LW build for the first time. However, I've mostly played the game with lighter sets of armor as I like the agility they provide. Would you say for Odachi heavier armor is required? Does the poise it provides vital to make it work? I was thinking about trying out a variant of this build, but with fire, Red Demon and Kato instead of WotW/Raiken. Am I missing something in assuming the element itself is not doing a whole lot outside of applying the status effect for the increased damage from the WotW set bonus? Also, do you consider it necessary to go the critical route? Would maxing out Full Moon Kata give similar results in your opinion? Thanks a bunch dude!
for lw, not really. Armor at medium is fine, especially since i use protection talismans for when I face something I know is going to hit me, which prevents dmg. LW should almost always be in critical, your much tankier, much more powerful, and the lw last longer in crit. Element isn't doing much besides triggering debuff, which is why i get nothing to boost element as its not worth it since you'll do 2-3k at max for normal hits, sometimes even below 1k for some enemies. focusing on element is a bad trap people fall into. But dmg is dmg, so if it's free dmg, why not. Poise is irrelevant in lw, you can't get stunned (only by yokai realm explosion thing). FMK is 12% at full life, while fanatic and cornered tiger give you 28%, among the other benefits I mentioned. Ii route can work, will be weaker though, since you'll lose tata bonus or crit bonus, and, you won't gain the hidden dmg bonus at 30.1 weight, which light armors can't achieve. Kato's skill dmg won't make up for that, and you wouldn't use skills for clearing normal stuff, which then means raiken does more damage, since the stages you'd farm to lvl contain mostly yokai anyways. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the reply, learned a lot! I'd only have 2 followup questions then, if it's not too much to ask :) 1- I've heard this hidden bonus from weight mentioned, but am not quite aware of what it actually does. Is it a simple damage increase? A quick Google search didn't turn up anything useful and I'd like to know more! 2- Seeing as how critical really does seem the optimal setup for LW builds (like I mentioned, I never ran a LW build before so I'm in the dark here), how do you manage to get in critical range? I know Quick Change scrolls are a powerful tool to achieve this goal, but is there any other way that doesn't rely on scrolls? Currently at around level 240 in WotD with a mix of medium and light armor and I'm getting 2-3 shot most of the time, completely bypassing critical state into death territory.
I go over it here in my tips vid: ua-cam.com/video/0V75TRLoL7I/v-deo.htmlm53s And yah, pretty much quick change scrolls is mandatory just for that reason. However, most of the time I don't need them (although you should always use them) as there's usually skeletons or weak enemies before anything too scary, and this build in particular, can take a few hits to get to 30%. Now for most bosses shown in footage i'm at full life, but if you wanted to go crit, again quick change is taekn for a reason. pop stone, pop quick change, "die", soon as you come down, activate lw and activate your buffs then obliterate them.
Yorch OchoSiete with kusari fanatic build you can do 33-39K on enma per bladespin tick. and like 40K on the eye enemy per tick but he dies on the first tick. Imagine the damage if crit builds weren't nerfed and Carnage was still insane! 100K damage per tick!! maybe one day they'll let us reach those heights.
PWARGaming You know a easy way to farm armor stats of bonus increse attak amrits and states alterated. I try many hours but nothing. 😅 Excuse me for my english
unfort no, there's no easy way, i slaved away for quite awhile to get absorb amrita attack just on helm. Just keep trying. I use chunks and divine fragments randomly, i never just use divines or just use chunks, i mix it up.
yes no more lw builds for a while, this is last one, since i think odachi's best in lw, much like kusa is where hardly anyone uses kusa outside of lw (or better yet not using blade spin).
Could I replace the weapon with a Kumai and use the warrior set helm? I'd lose the twenty percent in critics but would have wind on my weapon and an additional slot. Does that sound reasonable or gimped?
Probably meant unrivaled helm? but gimped. In lw, your element on wpn is replaced with spirit element, meaning it's just a dead stat in lw mode, and no stat that you can get in addition to the ones i have would be superior to fanatic damage (and dmg reduction), maybe close combat attack (electrified), but that only effects things you use raiken spirit on.
drops and forging. It's how people are getting sign of cross damage on their master swordsman 2kats. So 2kat, spear, and sword seem to have the only relevant skill damage star effects. Other wpns, so far that I've seen, all are for sucky skills.
Have you figured out how to change stance during living weapon? It occured to me once after using moon snow during living weapon and it switched to high stance, but probably it's just a glitch. Cool glith though
A reliable one is similar to the very beginning combo in the vid. attack, dodge dodge (or whenever you roll backwards), then press attack (quick or strong), then press the opposite, and depending on the breeze techniques or whatever they're called, you should switch into another stance. and form there you can use the other movesets for a short period of time.
eventually. time is a burden though. There probably won't be much changes however, all just statistical which will result in slight damage boost over if you just used it straight as is.
PWARGaming I hear that. The thought of going through all the missions again on way of the demon has me feeling burnt-out. Might trade in for horizon zero Dawn and come back to nioh in a few weeks
I quit before the dlcs came out now I returned getting ready for nioh 2 however I am confused on how to get the gear (mainly the sword Usami nagamitsu). Any help would be much appreciated.
I forged gloves with the starred perk attack and defense (odachi), any opinions on this vs +attack on the gloves, after a bunch of rerolls it doesnt 'seem' that I can roll both...
The Mercantile you can't. If its a star perk it's probably attack and defense +20/+...keep that one cause it will increase with familiarity and lvl to around 40's
i like the blue dragon a lot more. cudnt i do the same thing as this build but switch out the fanatics and war west set for gallantry and it be pretty much the same damage?
Well I made amaterasu which is a successor to susa, otherwise, probably not, at least not focused on kusa. I think those two are the best versions already, and any other tweaks will result in minuscule gains, and non-blade spin lw kusa are pretty meh imo.
I just start the game about an hour ago and really in need for a viable Odachi build, can I please have few question? -So basically we invest all stat on Strength and Heart first? Then put a little in Stamina, Magic and Spirit? -I pair the Odachi with a single Sword, so Heart and Strenght will be my main stat right? -Any Ninjutsu and Omnyo magic I should take a look at and invest points? -What armor type are better, Medium or Heavy? Is there any chance I can find your guide in written form, would be much more easier to keep track... :D Thank you very, very much bro!
opposite if you're not a decent lvl (lv80+) or are in ng. You get spirit first to 10, for nearly every starting character for kato or the shark spirit. Then you start raising stamina, magic, dex for talismans. damage stats play little part in actual dmg for 1st time playing, jutsu and magic offer much more damage. power pill and weakness, and sloth are the main ones to get early on, sloth especially but isn't unlocked to like region 2-3. all armor is good, but since you're not high lv, mix between light/medium, since heavy armor requires high stamina, and you do not want to be in c agility ever.
I think I am now level 5-7, just at the second gate of the very first map (Isle Demon Island), so what I need to do for Odachi/Sword build is increase Spirit to 10, then a little to stamina/magic/dex to the point like your vid, then max out 99 for Strength and Heart? For ninjutsu or magic I will need to get power and weaknesses talisman? Then the Sloth whenever it is available? Sorry for many questions, hope I dont bother you :)
Unsure, you'd have to test between that and the attack from behind clan (Kobayakawa). Considering ishida was 10% and did less damage, kuroda might do more, but you do have to maintain it whereas koba you always have the full damage.
Great build. But do you continue a katana build? But no low life, just for pve whole lvl not only cheese boss. Maybe with iai technique, counter, slash all trough,.. That would help me!
I'll think about it in the future but people gotta understand it takes a lot of time to do these things (not just video but actually building something) and I only have so much time to work with sooo yah, atm though i have some other stuff planned that will take up my time. Sword with iai or nightrain dmg star effect looks tasty tho.
Hey there PWARGaming you still would recommend using this build in the current patch? you have been a lot of help for me finishing way of the strong and doing my first steps in Demon Mode.
whats current max lvl for gear and weapons ( post dlc)? im lvl 140 something half way through way of the strong (and not getting the dlc) so max i can go is 160 (+10)after patch 1.08?
yes, max will be 160 +10 i believe. If not, the most you could do is 160+20, which good luck with slaving away at that with the highest dropping being +7, which is super rare to begin with. dlc max is 210+20. guardian spirits lv40.
Hey i was just wondering witch change to attack is better for this weapon and y? I have change to attack (stamina) A-, is this good or should i reforge for strength or heart?
cta doesn't matter which its on so long as you 99 it. Stamina is fine. In the end you'll mostly likely 99 str, stamina, and hrt anyways, which it scales off. stamina is more useful early on since you can also lower equipment weight, same if you had cta heart which will give you more ki early on, str will give more damage early on (if you could only get one to 99). In the end if doesn't even matter#linkinpark
there is none, all up to rng now. before you could kill revenants that had the stats, but they made it so all stats are randomized now, meaning you'll have to rely on reforging (or drops, which...yah....). It sucks, but good luck!
are there any builds that actually use two different weapons? Im currently doing odachi/Kusarigama. I'm still on my very first playthrough at level 30 probably, I'm just trying to figure out how builds in this game work
Any reason you use Guardian Talisman to summon your spirit instead of doing it with living weapon? Activating living weapon while in living weapon to do a special attack and summon the spirit.
This is the first time I tried one of your builds where I didn't have to compromise on the bonuses on my weapon to save money. I forged that Odachi once and got it with everything except the the CTA Heart, but I had an inheritable in my storage, so it actually worked out really well. Can't seem to get the Unrivaled set though, where do I get the blacksmith text for it?
nice! Description should have everything, but i farmed the shige in yokai country, unlock all shortcuts, pray at shrine, beat him, if no text drop, quit game via menu (don't complete mission), when reload, start back at shrine to try again and again till text drops. Doppleganger might drop text to but idk.
? divine fragments, which is gotten from unlocking way of the strong and getting it from drops or dissembling divine gear. When at forge when you go to forge "button", press triangle to use divine fragments, then forge. Should say "49%" up top where the other % rarity chances are. if no green number, then you have no divines or haven't used it.
All these build vids man. Great so you'll just have to have extremely specific gear attributes, stats, clan and living weapon setup. And then when you want to deal real damage you'll just have to use 4 buffs and 2 debuffs on the enemey and you're all set..
You just pulled a Goku! You make this weapon go from low class warrior to god, great job! I want to switch from my troll ninja to D-bag ninja (Kunai build), but I don't do great damage with the kunai. I'm probably missing something really obvious, but I'm sure I'll know when your next build video is out. So... When's Fujin build? :P
they start dropping in the last 3 regions, least common being sekigahara (probably need to kill reds to drop), omi region you'll get 196-200, and dlc region its 199-200. Soon as you get 200 you can forge. 201-210 is reds drop only, can't forge.
It's a super rare roll, it is a purple enchancement. I used 350 divine fragments on a sword the other day. Rolled CTA Strength A-. I turned off my Ps4. I don't run strength builds. I'm a spear guy..
savescum. Copy save to usb/ps+ cloud before reforging (ps4>usb), back up more if you want to be safe, play game and reforge, if you don't get it after spending everything, re-download your save(s) to ps4 (usb > ps4), and you'll be back before you started reforging. Otherwise, enjoy grinding and forging for hours. 70 divines is the tip of the ice burg if you're unlucky. Also mix up between chunks and divines, otherwise you'll get same stats as before if you just use divines on the same stat.
The Greatest farm on WOTStrong sub mission Death to Bandits and fight revenants. make sure you're level 160 or lower and they drop inheritable skills like CCD 15% (20% full fam) and so on.
TenguMonk It's not like that, in order to unlock the ability to raise their lvl to lvl 40, you have to unlock Way of the Demon, and to unlock Way of the Demon you have to complete ALL the missions in Way of the Strong until the blue bar fills all the way up so you can unlock Way of the Demon and and then you can raise the GS's lvl to 40.
divines are capable of 7. Depends on the wpn (whether it has perma stats like an elemental stat or set bonus). Getting 5 stats, with no inheritable, allows you to put an inheritable onto it, making it 6 stats. The same for a wpn with 6 stats (one or more perma stats), which can become 7, like the usami in the vid. Usually wpns with 2 perma stats can easily get 7 stats, but that's because 2 slots are filled with whatever perma stats it has, which may or may not be better than normal stats you can reforge. You can forge a 6 stat with no inheritable, or a 5 stat with no inheritable, just comes down to luck.
Awesome! What is the easiest way to find a weapon with Change to Attack? I have one similar to the one you shown but with no CTA Heart, and I do not have any to soul match
there's no easy way now, just hope you get it early in the reforging process. i had a cta from pre-revenant nerf saved up so the transfer was easy, otherwise I would have to be in the blacksmith reforging for 1-2+ hours. Its a pain in the ass now certainly. You can try your luck with revenants and see if it can drop, either strong or demon, but idk any another way
hey i love ur vids but i was wondering how yasakani farming worked in trail of the master on demon level. i was hoping you could get a gnarly high level one.
works great, i've gotten tons of them, the god one was from there. lvl is irrelevant though, it just increases the defense of the charm, which is miniscule anyways. Stats would be the same for any divine, doesn't matter if you have 150 or 200, the max for yokai ccd is 15%, etc etc
o ok i thought higher level naturally had stronger abilities. anyway thanks for being the light in the darkness not much reliable info about the game out there keep it up dude
still works, untouched. Tempering should let you get stat much easier now yes, just do co-op or daily twilight missions (in all difficulties) to get a butt ton.
would u like to give me a more indepth way to getting this on psn party chat? my psn is JR-Drone and im like level 296 but im still struggling on way of demon
When do you start getting weapons over 150? I m level 165 now and all my drops are still only at 150. Also, how do you level your Guardian Sprite past level 30?
believe in dlc area in strong i got 160-ish drops. But in demon mode is where it takes off for getting higher drops. 200 is max normally, while 210 is the rarest and highest that only drops from red enemies in demon.
Revenants. ng+ (not demon), death to bandits mission revenants is (or was) the new hotspot after patch 1.08. Might get lucky, might get trash, but generally you'll find something decent. Games died down since then so it'll be harder to get one.
Chap Hammersmith oh then i got something really wrong... i thought the enemies needed to be paralyzed for the raijin build to work... Actually my actual build is yours i think... 5 tatenashi and 3 wotw set?
how do you get the "change to attack" stat? do you keep forging or reforging weapons to get it? also can you only get it using divine fragments? Thank you for doing this videos
you can get it with whatever, divines have better chance at rolling rarity I think, but yah, essentially i slaved away spammin reforge haha half the time playing the game now is doing that for builds U.U Also thanks
Argh an Living weapon Build again?... Still Awesome tho... would love to have an powerfull build with Odachi without the Use of living weapon! =) Cause this moveset is pretty interessting!
jpn bravest is probably the best alternative. Think amaterasu, but without lw :p Then just use moonlit snow on bosses. Kills bosses fast, but clearing normally would be slower since you won't oneshot mobs as easily/fast especially in a big group like DKR. Kara-jishi or tengen as spirit.
Tell me please, Susano build is still the most powerful in the game? And will you make a video about the updated Susano build? Thank you! And I also wanted to share my build. I took your build of Susano and I'm still playing it. Now I have a melee hit of 81.8% in critical condition. I use siranui +20 and armor of sanada with sword of a fanatic. And I also use kato and Hi-nezumi. My Ishida clan gives me another 25% damage to living weapons. At the demon level in missions 600+, I kill bosses with one hit. And while I'm very fast. That's why I like Susano better. I'm very grateful to you for your videos and especially for the Susano build and I'm really looking forward to your next video. Forgive my English bro, I'm from Russia :)
It probably is still the most damaging, especially at a lower lvl since requirements are super low, but idk for sure. Probably won't make updated of susanoo as i like amaterasu more. but idk if it will change much, just put fam dam on wpn(with skill damage), maybe pierce guard too. Seems you have a nice setup for it. And thanks, ur english is great, even if it wasn't, idc if it was bad, i don't complain bout stuff like that (unlike other people). Also greetings to Russia from me :)
November 2019 now and i play Nioh for 2 weeks. searched for some good Odatchi builds and i found this video.
I use this build as wel now and i must say.....Hell yah. this is perfect. i'm wrecking al monsters now.
Love the editing on this.
Smilies2013 hey! What difficulty are you using it in? Wanna try it in WotD ^^
@@styxas8814 im in WOTD now.. i'm getting rekt XD
Smilies2013 Ah that makes me feel like im wasting my time gathering all the items and reforging them... xD
Smilies2013 probably also depends on your lvl and what lvl the gear is you crafted xd
This is an awesome build! Nice to see another GS get some love.
Odachi has my favorite grapple since you can actually throw enemies off ledges :D
I love you for these metal instrumentals.
Man I love this build I changed a couple of stuff but not that much but I’m having so much fun..just tearing everyone a new one , thank you for this build and raijin is one of my favorite gods lol
Thanks for another great build man, also your making me love this weapon now haha never really like big but slow weapons and congrats on 5k once again keep up the awesome work @PWARGaming
yah i like odachi a lot now, was meh at first but I can dig the moveset and power. And thanks! Glad my efforts are paying off somewhat ^^
This build was made for me!! Love it!! Even with the last nerf it's still very good!!
Nice build, used yours a few times in my Nioh love fest, subbed.
5k subs??? SICK :D smashed that like button as always...
holy shit i came like 3 times during this vid, subbed
Thanks for the reminder that Demitori are a thing, now I'm gonna end up wasting the rest of the day binging their songs
Same
just an FYI for your upcoming kunai build, kunai is OP for killing Yokai.
This guy uses the Openheimer speech years before it becomes a meme. Noice.
PWar, I had no faith in the odachi prior to trying this build. All I can say is bananas! You are the man and thanks.
that's great! the hole game i've played with my katana and now i changed to odachi and look for a built to beat maria (my new archenemy) and some other bosses in the game. thank's for that :D
Odachi is my favorite weapon. Especially with my Critical LW Build.
Sick build!
I'll try and say this in Chinese.
HO-LEE-FUK.
Ok serious note, I'm wondering is CCD and skill damage would suffice also with this weapon?
ccd yes, not skill, you can only have one or the other. I don't use skills much at all, so ccd or mid attack is vastly better than skill, which is the opposite for kusa blade spin since you just spam that and its a skill. This one you spam quick/strong attacks.
About skill damage, do the traits that have skill damage for a specific skill (Such as Iai damage) fall into the same pool as Skill Damage and CCD?
Was unsure whether I should go for this build or not. I did a mock and everything. Well last night I decided to finally go for it and while i'm still not on par with your character. I went from struggling in WOTD in the second region to skipping all the missions and going straight for hundred eyes. Him and the kelly clones didn't stand a chance. WOTW here I come.
Even in 2024 this is still my go to build...
You really love Touhou songs :3, nice remix song of Yoshika's Rigid Paradise!!!
Thanks! Song's in the description~
ahhhh thanks dude! just went straight for the vid
Good lord, you are on a roll! XD
Looks like fully optimized Amaterasu cleared the yokai bosses slightly faster, especially when you used reaper...you just ate through their health in 2 seconds, and that isn't including some of the new affixes that can be rolled on gear now. However, it would seem this Raijin build may be better against human bosses...
I was never a big fan of LW builds like the Amaterasu, spamming the same skill over and over is boring as hell so that's why im running your Santoryuu build on my main character with some tweaks to suit my playstyle.
But this...this LW build is purely badass and fun to play with, now I have to create a 3rd character to play with this build...I BLAME IT ON YOU!!! xD
Seriously, good job PWAR this build looks amazing and fun as hell.
lol then you'll have the same amount of chars as me xD But yah, i didn't even demonstrate you can switch stances in a lw (probably glitch, last only a few secs before resetting to mid-stance), unfortunately too stronk to demonstrate it. Basically you dodge twice back after then attack, use square or strong attack, then follow up with another attack and you'll switch to high/low depending on the multiple skills you have assigned for switching stances.
Dude I love builds that basically just insta kill everything as soon as it goes out of stamina or falls over. I fucking love going all "Omae wa mou shindeiru" on their asses
lucky bastard. that's like God tier on that magatama. wish they would let us reforge these accessories already
Damn man you done it again! Unbelievable! 😂
Liked as always ...
One Wish I have indeed: make a few Vids about Games you play also (maybe The Surge, which I will buy tomorrow)
Best regards from Germany and sorry for my bad English - I'm a Crowd Potatoa ;)
Whats your Opinion 'bout The Surge, Guys????! I liked (not loved;)Lords of the fallen. My loved Ones: All about Souls, Nier, Ninja Gaiden etc.
....and of course Nioh!
Does this build still work since most of these Nioh builds posted these days are over 2 years old -_-
Did you try out this build Ninja is it still as good in 2020? Which stats did you prioritise first?
Thanks for the video. looks like I got some cut and pasting to do!! Haha
I've been using a modified version of this since I got an odachi, however it's very similar and very powerful. Works well even out if LW.
Ok, thank you, i gonna change that.
This build got me platinum on ps4, and all dlc trophies
You better believe I 'touched' the like button.
I'd only have 2 followup questions then, if it's not too much to ask :)
1- I've heard this hidden bonus from weight mentioned, but am not quite aware of what it actually does.
I go over it here in my tips vid: ua-cam.com/video/0V75TRLoL7I/v-deo.htmlm53s
And yah, pretty much quick change scrolls is mandatory just for that reason.
Thanks a lot man, that helps quite a bit! :D
nice video!
your charms are insane =.="
Hey pwar can we get a new variety of build videos for way of the nioh?
Your damage is incredible!!! But My hit are over 7.000 in the back and I have more level that you 😓
Great video congratulations from Spain
Yorch OchoSiete with kusari fanatic build you can do 33-39K on enma per bladespin tick. and like 40K on the eye enemy per tick but he dies on the first tick. Imagine the damage if crit builds weren't nerfed and Carnage was still insane! 100K damage per tick!! maybe one day they'll let us reach those heights.
hopefully by then they can actually show over 100k numbers(digits) pop up...instead of just 5 digit numbers...
Really sick build.. but if you make time could you do one that is not a living weapon pls
yes no more lw builds for a while, this is last one, since i think odachi's best in lw, much like kusa is where hardly anyone uses kusa outside of lw (or better yet not using blade spin).
How you changed weapon special effect on Heart A+? I dont know how do this
Could I replace the weapon with a Kumai and use the warrior set helm? I'd lose the twenty percent in critics but would have wind on my weapon and an additional slot. Does that sound reasonable or gimped?
Probably meant unrivaled helm? but gimped. In lw, your element on wpn is replaced with spirit element, meaning it's just a dead stat in lw mode, and no stat that you can get in addition to the ones i have would be superior to fanatic damage (and dmg reduction), maybe close combat attack (electrified), but that only effects things you use raiken spirit on.
Understood, thank so much killa. You the bomb diggity!
Did you get the star special effect chest by forging? Thought you could only get stars from drops?
drops and forging. It's how people are getting sign of cross damage on their master swordsman 2kats. So 2kat, spear, and sword seem to have the only relevant skill damage star effects. Other wpns, so far that I've seen, all are for sucky skills.
Eric Zh stars are drops or forge but never reforge
Have you figured out how to change stance during living weapon?
It occured to me once after using moon snow during living weapon and it switched to high stance, but probably it's just a glitch. Cool glith though
A reliable one is similar to the very beginning combo in the vid. attack, dodge dodge (or whenever you roll backwards), then press attack (quick or strong), then press the opposite, and depending on the breeze techniques or whatever they're called, you should switch into another stance. and form there you can use the other movesets for a short period of time.
Cool! So the key is do the roll attack first. It's fun to perform tiger's blade in living weapon mode.
How use the Moonlit Snow skill in the living weapon mode ??
Lets gooo
good stuff!
So... charging bull DOES suck?
You planning any revisits to previous weapon builds and improving them dude?
eventually. time is a burden though.
Fue Yang yes
hey bro will you be making another kusarigama build anytime soon? since the suzanoo build thats all Ive used lol.
Thank you very, very much bro!
opposite if you're not a decent lvl (lv80+) or are in ng.
PWARGaming Thank you man! I screen shot this for later progress. Great help from great player :D
Kuroda would be the best clan for warrior of the west and Kingo setup as well?
Unsure, you'd have to test between that and the attack from behind clan (Kobayakawa). Considering ishida was 10% and did less damage, kuroda might do more, but you do have to maintain it whereas koba you always have the full damage.
Bro, you have posted lots of great builds but i was wondering, which one you use normally?
Just curious would it be beneficial to use the unrivaled on boots an arms to be lighter
If not, the most you could do is 160+20, which good luck with slaving away at that with the highest dropping being +7, which is super rare to begin with. dlc max is 210+20. guardian spirits lv40.
ok thx
What the best points distribuition for early game to end game ?
Hey i was just wondering witch change to attack is better for this weapon and y? I have change to attack (stamina) A-, is this good or should i reforge for strength or heart?
cta doesn't matter which its on so long as you 99 it. Stamina is fine. In the end you'll mostly likely 99 str, stamina, and hrt anyways, which it scales off. stamina is more useful early on since you can also lower equipment weight, same if you had cta heart which will give you more ki early on, str will give more damage early on (if you could only get one to 99). In the end if doesn't even matter#linkinpark
Ohh i see ty for the info XD.
Yo Project. Where did you get the CHANGE TO ATACK(heart) from?
you either transfer it from one weapon to another, farm until you find the sword you want with the skill or try to forge it on the weapon yourself
Where is the best place to farm it from?
there is none, all up to rng now. before you could kill revenants that had the stats, but they made it so all stats are randomized now, meaning you'll have to rely on reforging (or drops, which...yah....).
Zhyrez using the special attack from LW depletes the gauge/duration faster.
Updated Amrita farm method next? :) or did you make one already lol
Just one question how do u unlock divine crafting like there's no divine percentage when i try to craft something
? divine fragments, which is gotten from unlocking way of the strong and getting it from drops or dissembling divine gear. When at forge when you go to forge "button", press triangle to use divine fragments, then forge. Should say "49%" up top where the other % rarity chances are. if no green number, then you have no divines or haven't used it.
thanks
Can I use this build for a single katana character? And what weapon should I pair it with?
Which level did you get your charms also can you make a new spear build sometime
All these build vids man. Great so you'll just have to have extremely specific gear attributes, stats, clan and living weapon setup. And then when you want to deal real damage you'll just have to use 4 buffs and 2 debuffs on the enemey and you're all set..
Well if you want to try to clobber wotd (hardest content), that's what you kind have to do for most weapons/builds bud ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what about the odachi man what should we use?
why is it that LITWRALLY every time i try to respec into a build it is less than shitty even tho i do everything right
PogChamp
kappa
You just pulled a Goku! You make this weapon go from low class warrior to god, great job! I want to switch from my troll ninja to D-bag ninja (Kunai build), but I don't do great damage with the kunai. I'm probably missing something really obvious, but I'm sure I'll know when your next build video is out.
So... When's Fujin build? :P
How are people able to forge lvl 200 gear? I haven't been able to find anything above level 180 nor craft higher than that.
they start dropping in the last 3 regions, least common being sekigahara (probably need to kill reds to drop), omi region you'll get 196-200, and dlc region its 199-200. Soon as you get 200 you can forge. 201-210 is reds drop only, can't forge.
Awesome thanks a lot!
What is the name of the song you used for the end of the video?
remix/edited of castle pandemonium FF2
how do i get "Change to Attack" effect?
i spent about 70 divine fragments with no luck :(
It's a super rare roll, it is a purple enchancement.
Thanks for your replies :D , after hell of forging i got "Change to attack (skill)" AA+
Where can i find that odachi?
Can you STILL roll CCD 20%? I haven't even gotten close in over 500 reforges divine, anima and regular mats.
The Greatest farm on WOTStrong sub mission Death to Bandits and fight revenants. make sure you're level 160 or lower and they drop inheritable skills like CCD 15% (20% full fam) and so on.
This. There is a Jumonji spear going around with inheritable CCD. So as long as you get your weapon will a CTA roll and inherit you are good.
awesome build.. how do you unlock guardian spirit above 30?
think you have to unlock way of demon by beating queens eye in way of strong. Not totally sure tho. So its dlc only i believe
nice! thanks for the quick reply! I'm currently playing your kursurigama build.. I can only imagine how strong it'll be after you rework it.
Can you eventually forge 7 stat weapons? Can't seem to make mine more than 5.
divines are capable of 7.
Stats would be the same for any divine, doesn't matter if you have 150 or 200, the max for yokai ccd is 15%, etc etc
o ok i thought higher level naturally had stronger abilities. anyway thanks for being the light in the darkness not much reliable info about the game out there keep it up dude
and creativity A++++++++++ ur sick
Noob question. How is he getting the 5 piece set bonus when he only has 4 pieces the set equipped?
Furyheart Probably has the “Yasakani Magatama” equipped
@@gingerbreadninja6645 oh theres a charm that allows for you to get extra set bonuses? Thank you.
Furyheart Yup there is, and np bud
With all the patches, does this still work?
does this build still work? and if so does reforgeing help gain these stats that you have on your item or do i have to just find em
still works, untouched. Tempering should let you get stat much easier now yes, just do co-op or daily twilight missions (in all difficulties) to get a butt ton.
would u like to give me a more indepth way to getting this on psn party chat? my psn is JR-Drone and im like level 296 but im still struggling on way of demon
Why is his fanatics armor showing 7 body/str required, yet all the ones ive seen have been 14/14?
forging armor cuts requirements in half.
When do you start getting weapons over 150? I m level 165 now and all my drops are still only at 150. Also, how do you level your Guardian Sprite past level 30?
believe in dlc area in strong i got 160-ish drops. But in demon mode is where it takes off for getting higher drops. 200 is max normally, while 210 is the rarest and highest that only drops from red enemies in demon.
how do you even find a weapon with change to attack heart A+ inheritable?
Revenants. ng+ (not demon), death to bandits mission revenants is (or was) the new hotspot after patch 1.08. Might get lucky, might get trash, but generally you'll find something decent. Games died down since then so it'll be harder to get one.
Where can I get the weapon?
doesn't the hino enma helmet increase dmg against paralyzed enemies by like 50%? wouldn't this make the dmg even way more crazy?
CRO Palačinke D.C paralysis takes longer to take effect/fiddlier to set it up and a lot of enemies are resistant/immune to it
Chap Hammersmith oh then i got something really wrong... i thought the enemies needed to be paralyzed for the raijin build to work...
Actually my actual build is yours i think... 5 tatenashi and 3 wotw set?
Didn't realise the Hindu scripture audio in the background.
how do you get the "change to attack" stat? do you keep forging or reforging weapons to get it? also can you only get it using divine fragments? Thank you for doing this videos
you can get it with whatever, divines have better chance at rolling rarity I think, but yah, essentially i slaved away spammin reforge haha half the time playing the game now is doing that for builds U.U
Also thanks
Argh an Living weapon Build again?...
Still Awesome tho... would love to have an powerfull build with Odachi without the Use of living weapon! =)
Cause this moveset is pretty interessting!
Marcel Sauter it can be done, take a gander at my odachi build showcased on my channel
jpn bravest is probably the best alternative.
