One thing to note: Do not put the lid on the jar until mixture has cooled completely. Putting the lid on while still warm could cause condensation adding extra liquid to your mixture. You definitely do not want that to happen.
I will use this recipe for my face often, follow directions of mixing, temp, etc. exactly and turns out nice. I did do some swaps that turned out good for my face. Baby oil serum in place of almond oil, mango butter in place of coconut, and less geranium because I'm sensitive to floral scents.
I waited til this month so I could add the Geogard ECT and I found that I had less than 2 t. of Emulsifying wax, which may be why it came out more moist than it should have. Once this is gone I will get more and I will also get vegetable glycerin and a bottle with spout. ( am using a clean spoon). It smells heavenly and it worked beautifully! Should I use the primer too with it?
I think I messed up my lotion cz I looks like it may be separating cz it looks liquid-y and towards the bottom its thicker. Is there a way to fix this without s ranching the entire product? Or do I need. To get more emulsifying wax and try again?
Unfortunately, there’s not a good way to bring it back to lotion consistency without starting from the beginning and making sure the water and oil mixtures are the same temperature when you blend them together. The separated product will still have skin care benefits but won’t have the lovely lotion consistency.

Yay! That's great! Sure you can. Use the face cream first, then the primer. Enjoy!
