I hope more and more people do this sort of long form financial content. It would also be cool if someone specialized in people that were actually doing somewhat well financially.
I’ve only seen this video now. Being Filipino myself, his bee 🐝 mascot reminds me of Philippines famous fast food Jollibee 😂(similar to McD and actually is here in the U.S. in the large cities). Romain, I know you mentioned your partner is vegan and you also practice it at times but when you get a chance and you happen to come across Jollibee, give it a try 😁 I think he’ll be fine now that you opened his eyes to how much he could save for his future self if he cut out Starbucks. Maybe buy Starbucks stocks instead
@@JD-ny9qj Yes it is. I was happy to see it in London when we went there last year. May not be as popular there yet but try it out. Mango Peach Pie 🥧 is really yummy and Jolly Chicken 🍗 Joy
Great story. He has a solid structure to his life and finances - in my opinion. This is refreshing to see. He probably has good decision makers in his family who have influenced him. I enjoyed this and it seemed to me that you also enjoyed interviewing this man, Romine. Cheers.
What in the World have the parents of this generation actually done for their children to prepare them for adulthood? These poor kids! My 'greatest generation' parents taught us 'boomers' how to save and invest. I remember my dad walking me up to our neighborhood bank when I was 12 to open my first savings account. That's how I bought my OWN car at 18. 18 was also my age he told me to open my retirement account and while it was VERY hard sometimes to put money in it, I retired at 55. This young man is charming and articulate. And I have ALL hope for him because he's intelligent and realistic. Start eating at HOME! And stay away from the 'news' that convinces people 'healthy food is too expensive', it's a lie. If you shop well, you'll be way ahead! Last comment, paying many dollars for DRINKS is money you'll literally just p*$$ out an hour later. (Nice imagery, eh?) 😂Good Luck! Romain, I'm so glad your channel popped up for me. I subscribed right away and have definitely rabbit-holed your videos. This is just great, the way you treat your clients is respectful, gentle and with humor. Classic! And, watching your subscriber count going up in just a few days has been so fun! Congratulations! (That's why I keep commenting, I know they count - big time.) Jen
Good morning Jen! What an interesting comment! Good one for the drinks haha also true. And I appreciate your constant support to help continue growing this channel 😀
I like making my own coffee more than buying it now. It's become a morning routine that gets me out of bed and I'll experiment with different things. Like I recently made coffee gelatin one night and cut it up into cups in the morning then added some condensed milk for sweetness. Turned out ok.
I buy locally roast coffee bean $18for 2 pounds. Get organic grass fed milk for $9 from Whole Foods . Mainly make coffee at home 🏠. I don’t like to buy coffee out it is like 8-10$ for cappuccino in my local cafe 😢
I'm pretty sure some credit card rewards have discounted cards, too. My mother occasionally likes to get a fancy coffee, and she feels better about it because it's all on gift cards.
@@insomnenox it costs you less than $1 per coffee, that’s huge savings per month. If you were to go to Starbucks instead you would spend $310 more per month. Well done ;)
A 3lb bag of coffee beans from Costco costs us $18 and lasts a month. We have coffee out twice a month and split a $3.10 coffee. I can't handle much caffeine (slow metabolizer) so my husband drinks at least 3/4 of our coffee both at home and out. So that's $24.20/month. I mostly drink black tea, for another $8/month. Total: $30.20.
Discovered you a couple hours ago and im hooked. Caleb Hammer is gonna have some competition.
Welcome on board Vincent :)

Loving how you are using the prop money to visualise. This is becoming my new favourite financial audit channel :)
Thank you for the kind feedback - yes this was our goal - materialize physically the impact of their decisions 👍
$70k to dance in a bee costume! That’s awesome 🤩 🐝🐝🐝
Not a bad gig!
Thats such a responsible young guy, I hope he makes great in the future. I enjoy seeing responsible kids like him. I wish him best of luck.
He has been taking some great action :)
I understand the Starbucks addiction. I go everyday , sometimes twice a day. Crazy, I need to cut back lol

I will give it a shot :) Thank you as always for your support
Jollibee’s in a lot of countries now right? There’s one where I live in the UK, it’s okay but the popeye’s across the road is better.

Interesting - definitely good money saving :)
This guy is great, young, smart & determined! He’ll go far in life with his great attitude! 🙌🏻
I agree :)
$20,500 🤯 on coffee in 5 yrs 😵
Insane expense right ?
He’s probably a rare one who actually could save up for a small downpayment on a house if he invested same amounts over 5 years 😂
I love watching your channel growing! Great content. So happy I found you! 🎉

Team Mitsubishi Mirage!
More than the money... All that Starbucks is literally leading you towards diabetes from all of the sugar
I think costco sells discounted Starbucks cards.
Costly behavior but awesome once in a while 👍

Question of the Day ⚡️How much do you spend per week on Coffee? Don’t lie I know its a fortune isn’t it? :) Let us know👇
For a household of two people we spend $13 a week on a bag of coffee beans, grind and make it at home. Maybe 2x a month we will get a coffee when out.

Probably $20 a week! Seattle is such a caffeinated city
