I'm not familiar with this particular radio, but I'd say "your milage may vary". Some carriers do nasty CG-NAT to hotspot users and lots of VoIP tech doesn't work.
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones hi, thanks for this, we are a small business and use network radio for range and is essential for the instant communication especially when it's urgent and cannot use a mobile phone etc. More interested in real ptt for location based services. We have mobile terminals in the cars and now have handheld radios. Wanted to be more professional and have a better network to use. I can see there is a licence fee etc I just don't want to be scammed or download harmful files that will damage and install spywear onto our terminals. 🙂

Can network radios operate from a hotspot, or do they actually need a SIM card of their own?
