Hey EGGVR, this is a huge help, thanks. But I was wondering if there's more to a model if you want three articulating fingers? Do I put armature/bone in each three fingers, at real knuckle-points? My player model is custom and kinda robotic, so the details are creatively cool, but I don't know how to integrate them into a Unity build that already has a gorilla tag movement rig setup. Right now it's just the two spheres as hands, so I'm looking to get my Blender player model into the Unity project. Appreciate any advice you can offer, I'm trying to help my 10yr old code his first VR game, but I'm just learning myself now too. Thanks...

it only moves the elbow and hand but the shoulders and stuff is just still and not moving
i fixed it you have to make the chain length longer
now the hitbox makes the arm glitch out when it touches the hand

I wouldn't use a sub division modifier. It uses more poly gons and u have less faces to play around with. Instead use the bevel tool to make a circle from there u can inset the belly instead of duplicating the body twice causing an insane drop in peformance

I just created a 3D project (because the VR template messes up your textures and makes them blue), got my rig and photon in (changed absolutely nothing) and now my hands are hitting invisible places, the movement is also really choppy. I have no invisible objects in my map, just a floor. What went wrong and how do I fix it? Edit: Yes, I also put it on my Quest and it does the same thing.

The stick and hand on the player model are not like centered. if i hold my controller up vertically they would be facing forward instead of upwards.

I have a big problem where my player is sliding on the floor and is levatating, I cant find a controllers in the side bar and I cant move the hands, Only the body. If you can help me that would be great.

Make sure you have a layer called left or left hand on the left hand controller, and right or right hand on the right hand controller, and a tag called "HandTag" on both controllers and add a sphere collider on both, put the radius as 0.06, and turn on " is trigger" and try testing again.
