  • Another section of my ride out on the North York Moors. This part takes you down to Egton Bridge before heading off up to the moors and Rosedale.

Thank you very much for sharing, it's a very beautiful road (narrow but very beautiful). The landscapes are amazing, I liked it very much! Congratulations, my friend, have a nice evening!

Thats a pretty steep hill coming up out of Egton Bridge and you had a good clear run up.
It has always seems to be busy when I have used it, there's not much elbow room for going up or down and its a bit dodgy with errant drivers about especially around school run time and end of work going home time.
It is always a relief to get onto the open moor on top.
    Cheers man

Hi John, cheers.. must admit I prefer riding these narrow steep roads on the little BMW, it’s easier to flick about and has a small turning circle. The little engine has high revs so I can just leave it in a low gear and seems to have enough power to handle most hills. It went up Rosedale Chimney Bank with no problems.
A couple of those motorbikes coming down the hill on the bends we’re a bit wide but quickly adjusted.. 😊
