I have applied to this university n given test n on the spot essay but missed to see the invite for personal interview on mail as was busy with my boards .Deadline To chose slot for interview was 23 may n I was 2 days later

@Nitya Nair hey there, will you please help me a little, I checked the placements at Ashoka and the average is 8 lpa which equates to about 30-40k in hand per month after removing tax and benefits.
Do you think it'll be worth it? The fees is quite high I mean, i...I want to study computer science there. Please help. Sorry if it sounds rude in any way and thanks for reading it regardless.
Hi! The CS dept at Ashoka is really strong and I think offers possibly the most enriching and challenging set of courses that India has to offer at the moment. That being said, your value question depends on what you're looking for - older engineering colleges with strong CS depts (IITs and BITs) offer brand value that Ashoka has yet to catch up on. If you're interested in research, I think Ashoka has an advantage by virtue of its faculty and network, but if you're interested in placements, it's not quite at the scale of famous engineering schools just yet.
Wrt fees, Ashoka is quite generous with financial aid if you fall into the stipulated income brackets. That being said, they release aid offers only post-acceptance, so you can't be sure of how much you might be paying unless you get in. I would definitely encourage you to apply nonetheless!
