Interesting, I was just watching shielding videos last night, including a previous one you did. My take, use your shoulder first on 50/50 balls and then go in, inside of the foot with power and plow through them. Works for me as a big guy.
This doesn’t work if you are a smaller guy. I speak from experience

In games I play really well with my club against the other guys here but in practice, despite trying my hardest, I feel like I play bad.
