Man. So much good stuff in here.. I’m a bit older at 36, but the conversation regarding identity, learning to pivot, and ultimately taking a higher form of self-identification is such a major lesson. I’m currently in a major pivot and it’s been tough.. hard to let all the old stuff go sometimes, especially when it was you. 🤙🏻🙏🏻

Love the content brother! Any tips/advice for keeping my back straight or chest up during back squats? I always find myself kind of leaning forward a bit and not keeping my back straighter than what it should during the back squat. Appreciate it !

Def spam some hypers and weighted planks, but also may be a hip/ankle mobility issue!

Question: What if you were on drugs? What kind of numbers would we see.
I’ve thought about myself because I’m 40 years old and well over the hill. Something like TRT. I’m still healthy, can squat, can snatch, but clean and jerks are little harder to deal with on a regular basis. I feel good if I stay within myself, but my body’s not the same.
Not telling you to try it. I remember Ian Wilson got on it and he got caught so fast. They don’t play around in the United States. You can’t throw a bribe or do anything to pass a bad drug test.

Had a workout tonight that I'd be interested to know how you would go and if you can beat the gyms top score. It's a real leg blaster.
    4 rounds
    3:00 on / 3:00 rest
    ----
15 Cals on assault bike or rower
    20 box jump overs @ 24inch
Max effort front squats in remaining 3mins @ 40kg.
    ---
Score is the total front squats over the 4 rounds.
Top score was 114. Majority was 60-80,

For purpose, you could write down the best competition lifts of the top crossfitters (like Jeffrey Adler) and try to beat each of them one-by-one. Guessing you're probably already better than him at the Snatch and C&J, but now you can work on getting a bigger squat/deadlift. Then you can try to beat his times in the benchmark tests and, if you could, you'd probably not be far off being a world-class crossfitter (if that's even a goal of yours). Great content as ever man

Agree with the take that you need to be able to have flaws and self-awareness to be a good comedian. Brosciencelife is all about satirizing (and owning up to) gym stereotypes. Dr Mike makes fun of himself all the time too. But if you're a fitfluencer trying to be both perfect AND relatable, just can't have it both ways.
Side note, this is also why Dave Chappelle isn't what he used to be. Can't be bringing out Elon Musk in your shows and making fun of the people in the audience for being too poor for the front row seats and still expect people to laugh with you.

Go for it. Powerful legs you got. High rep SQUATS are something you can only do once or less a month at a time. They're not worth it for most. Taking a weightlifting approach is best for 75% - 90% of people who train. Lifestyle and employment are most gruelling for the body. Just my simple humble opinion. Thankyou always Nate. Keep SQUATTING!!!!❤❤🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♂️💪💪🥩🥩🥗🥗🥦🥦🍻🤝🍻🤝🍻

Broscience life is funny. The HodgeTwins when they did fitness videos were funny as fuck. I thought Jon North was funny in the weightlifting universe.
I agree about Rogan, not funny. Jesse James West, not funny most of the time, tries too hard. Jujimufu.....nah.
