Aisha and Nabu, as well as Floria and Helia were honestly the best and probably handled things more realistically, and not toxic. Personally they are my top couples.
Haven’t watched the whole video yet but just wanted to say that Nabu’s death was super painful (especially since he was the only Black/Indian coded guy in the main cast). Also wasn’t Daphne technically dead too/was a spirit? So why did the writers make HER able to come back to life but Nabu couldn’t??? Aisha’s new love interests (Nex & Roy) were never good enough nor truly understand her like Nabu did. Also Helia & Flora are so soft & adorable I love them 🥺
Because Daphne was brought back by canceling the Sirenix curse. It's not the same as bringing someone back from the dead. Nabu actually died, Daphne was only cursed. I mean, think about it? How is it that only Daphne, of all dead people in the universe, is able to still exist as a spirit? That's because she ain't actually dead, just cursed to be uncorporeal. Aisha could've used her Sirenix wish to bring Nabu back if she wanted, but she decided to save Nereus instead because, thanks to Roy, she was able to move on. She didn't want to have a new loss to grieve on.
I really don't get what the fact of nabu begin colored has to do with his death? His death was painful becuase of the following- he was the perfect bf for aisha, trusted her, cared about her and her friends and was everything the other specialists wasn't. Second - nabu was strong unlike the other specialists who basically were a joke. He has actual powers. 3. Nabu got into everyone hurt in less than a season. None of this has to do with the fact he is person of color. Not everything needs to be about person skin. They did make him to keep to him. Since the others boys are basically playing the more common role of females in alot of tv series/movies. Now, ppl say - "Ok sky should've been killed or riven" but if it was one of them it didn't have the same effect nabu's death had. Alot of ppl dislike both. And they aren't even close to be the perfect bf. Again nothing to do with their skin. I take it otherwise..nabu begin colored and only appear on kinda 1 season (end of s3+most s4) but still begin the best out of all the specialists, begin so loveable, making such an impact in a small time. So he basically he was better than the "whites dude" by miles away. But again, you should just drop the whole skin color stuff in my opinion.
@@hattrickil8179 There's a very popular movie/ TV trope called "the Black guy always dies first". Think early 2000s horror slasher and apocalyptic movies. The person/people who make it out alive are always white. Why do you think that is? It has racist undertones, and the fact that writers never develop their characters of colour, give them a meaningful storyline or just use them to serve under the white protagonists makes them seem like an afterthought in the writers' eyes. This is why representation of more black/POC characters (especially in leading roles) is so important in media. Of course we're going to talk about how the only dark-skinned guy dies!
First of all, THANK YOU for bringing up Brandon and Stella's flirting game in a positive way, because so many fans see it just as cheating and that's really silly. They're both into the game and, if the show was a bit more mature, I promise you they'd be an open or poly couple. Also here to point out that most couples (let's take Sky and Bloom out, they're just as bad) have some really cute moments in the s1-4 comics, especially Flora and Helia, Musa and Riven and Tecna and Timmy
Personally, I don’t think Stella and Brandon would’ve been poly considering how Stella is possessive and jealous when it comes to him. They’re just people who like flirting, playing and have great confidence in themselves and the ones they love, but always in a respectful way (THAT’S WHY I FREAKING LOVE THEM)

@ MA granted that was a good thing. But that doesnt change the fact that alot of changes were unncessary and a few made the show inappropriate for kids. In s1 episode 3, when the Trix spell the enchanted eggs, 4kids adds dialogue that their bite will cause symotoms like projectile vomiting. This wasnt in the original. Not only is this dialogue unneeded but also beyond kids level. There are several more examples where stupid changes were made to the plotline. But if u find 4kids better, i respect ur opinion. Peace
My personal favourite is Stella x Brandon solely on that episode in season 3 where Stella was turned into a ugly monster and Brandon still loved her regardless. He saw all the ugliness and still thought shes the most beautiful person in the world. The moment lives rent free in my mind
I think stellas and Brandon’s r the most realistic. They aren’t always lovely and all kissy and stuff and they have random fights and random jealousy moments and they always talk it out. Like a lot of the couples couldn’t :/ *cough cough* bloom and sky. I feel like technas and Timmy didn’t have enough screen time so I didn’t really like get into their relationship as much as I was obsessed with stellas and Brandon’s relationship
Too true. But I think there is one ship that's worse than both of those ships. Matt and Tinkerbell from WOW. Tinkerbell is old enough to be his mom and had feelings for Peter Pan, Matt's father. But since he didn't like her back and married Wendy, Tinkerbell would rather see the world burn.
Yeah that’s what I’ve always thought too. The drama the other couples had were very little things that didn’t matter at all and got fixed in 3 minutes but I was always on my toes to see if Musa and Riven got past their conflicts or finally ended it.
I would've loved to see Flora instead of Bloom turn evil but it would be because her man broke her heart and she finds a yellow Rose that turns black or dark purple when she touches it and it influences her to become evil in order to get back at Helia for breaking her heart.
Tecna and Timmy are the couple goals? my childhood icons. And I like Daphne and Thoren also. Creators show them not that much but I see Daphne acts just like her mom Mariam: loving and sweet. Thoren is fine: grown and serious for that age.
I wish tecna and Timmy had more recognition cause they are the least toxic couple on the show follow closely by possibly flora and helia ( before season 5 )
I agree so hard with this list my lord. Timmy and Tecna are so underrated, they have like no unnecessary drama, Stella and Brandon are pretty good, the petty parts of the relationship irked me but it wasn't too bad. Helia and Flora are my favorite by far tho, they are relationship goals so much 😭 Nabu and Aisha deserved better man. Rest of the couples are a mess and I just ignore them flat out, especially Musa and Riven, so toxic.
I think Stella and Brandon are my fav couple. Brandon is just very sweet and supportive~ and Stella portrayed as a very supportive sunny and funny fairy in the first few seasons too (the later ones are bruhhh). Nabu and Aisha is a really great couple too, but really I dun like to look at S4 onwards So to me it's just S3 Which is too little... I still dun want to accept anything from S4 and onwards including that nabu died after Only 1 season

The fact Techna and Timmy had their reunion in season 3 be overshadowed by more Bloom and Sky makes me so mad. Timmy went to hell and back to get her, was the last one still believing she's alive. And then their reunion is almost entirely a background shot? Criminal. And don't get me started on Flora and Helia. They are always pushed to the side, either as characters or as a couple. Helia had more storylines in the comics than in the show. Also, they made Saladin his grandpa (uncle in 4kids version), and they had no interactions as a family.

Timmy and Tecna are basically a neurodivergent couple, that learned how to express their feelings and thoughts, they complemented each other and their biggest problem was not being like a neurotipical couple (and they learned that they were fine because all people love different). Basically the best couple for me (an autistic young adult).

Layla/Aisha and Nabu set the standard for me as a child. Never had I ever seen a black girl as a strong character in media targeted towards kids. She was a fairy, a princess, and her character design was amazing. The introduction of Nabu was glorious as well. Then he died and Aisha’s character took a turn. It made me realize how often black women are antagonized for expressing their emotions.
I felt the same way. (I’m not a black girl) but the fact that they killed off nabu was so annoying and cause me to raise an eyebrow. And the fact that they never mentioned him again or allowed Aisha to grieve!!!
I also think it’s funny how they turn Aisha into being arrogant and hot headed in the later seasons which was never a thing for her. She was always smart and careful!
Timmy and Tecna are the best couples. Compared to everyone else they only argued once in Season 2. They share things in common. They can socially distance themselves and still trust each other. They can speak simultaneously. Also Timmy is the best boyfriend. He believed that Tecna was still alive when no one else did. He put 90% of his work to find her. They'll spend time together doing projects. They start each other off with being cute and dorky being that they can't dance.

The creators of the show didnt care about nabu back then. The only reason he was created was because they needed a quick love interest for aisha. When the show was still coming out the viewers were upset at the creators for not giving aisha(a poc) a love interest while everyone else(mostly white) had a love interest...so sadly they may never bring him back😞 We can only hope for season 9(yes the show is coming back!) to bring back not only him, but the original art style from season 1&2 (The non-whitewashed version from the later seasons)
Giving the reason they whitewashed Flora and Aisha, and changed Layla, (Which means dark beauty), to Aishia (They disagreed that dark is beauty), I assume the reason is that they don't like black people. They even made the new spouse a white guy.

I always lowkey hoped that Musa would grow up and leave Rivens angsty and unstable butt behind, and find herself a lovely musician girlfriend who helped her learn how to communicate in a healthy way. And I was like 10 years old and in the conservative south. That's how bad their relationship was; it set the bar for what a bad relationship looked like for me as a kid. We absolutely stan the neurodivergent TimmyxTechna and the introvert FloraxHelia. And NabuxAisha will maintain that ideal because they never got a chance to be ruined by the writers.

I hated Riven in s1 but I liked him in later seasons cuz he’s almost entirely different by S2 and 3. I liked his development a lot, and it sucked when they reset it all for s4.

Honestly season 1-3 Riven was one of my favorite characters, he had amazing development but they completely reset all of that in season 4 for cheap drama?!?? I like how how their relationship developed too, they had baggage after everything what happened in season 1 so of course it wouldn't go smoothly... I just wished they could've grown as people together past season 3 because Riven can be a decent guy... the writing team just didn't let him... Honestly Riven is propably the character who's potential was just wasted left and right. His arc in season one was so intriguing and ugh... I'm still angry about what they did to him in later story arcs :'D
that is so true! riven in the first three seasons was probably the most interesting of the specialists, and letting him grow up and move on from his toxic traits while still having a little chip on his shoulder (i personally think that's just who he is as a person) would have been so good for him! it also would have allowed him and musa to actually have a healthy relationship that didn't have to go smoothly all the time, which i wouldn't have minded either since that would better fit into the "realistic" view that's mentioned in the video. so much wasted potential here

Riven & Musa could've been that relationship that showed that it's not always sun and roses and that you will have a lot of bumps in the road but you can tackle them together by improving yourself and listening to your partner! instead we got "no lol they are toxic they need to break up" I think the reason why have written Riven out of the show in season 6 (was it season 6?) is because they realized how much of a mess Riven has become as a character and just didn't know how to handle him anymore beyond that point. It's sad.

I get he didn’t have the best childhood, but the fact he has an obsession to defeat Sky in a duel is ridiculous all because he feels Sky will always be better than him. Tbh I wished it would’ve been Riven to die in S4 saving Musa as this would’ve fixed his issue of feeling of never being good enough by making him Earth’s hero and he truly does love her and would do anything to protect her.

I just wish I could undo all of the later seasons

I'm gonna be completely honest. I did not like Bloom and Sky's relationship. Now before you guys bash me, hear me out. As a kid, I had a major crush on Bloom. But I just thought she could of done better then Sky. I mean the dude got jealous over a horse, can't stand up to his father, and can't even tell Diaspro to buzz off. Sky didn't even trust Bloom with her ex, knowing well enough that she loves him. But that's just my two cents.
Nabu and Aisha, and Flora and Helia are my favourites. Season 1-4 in particular. Despite the drama between some of the other Winx couples, Flora and Helia don't actually fight about it, like Aisha and Nabu. They know that they can trust one another. It was mostly the insecure relationship dynamics that had the most drama, specifically Musa with Riven, and Bloom with Sky. I genuinely think that Bloom would be better off with Andy. I want to see their relationship before Bloom left for Alfea.
Honestly I LOOOOVE Stella and Brandon. Their relationship seems pretty reliastic, like Stella being a princess, I think she's being spoiled a lot when she was at home, and then there's Brandon who effortlessly so good with words. I also like how Brandon just say it to her face when Stella did smtg wrong. Like that time when it comes to fashion and also when she was being rude when she was queen for a day. Brandon really help her grow. Brandon seems like the type of guys who easy going and easily understand others(?) I remember he also gave advice to Musa about Riven on season 2

There's a reason when Winx Club fans talk about their favorite Winx,it's almost never Bloom and that's shame,because if the writers cared,there is plenty of stuff you could do with her.

In S1 she specifically mentions being the one who drew all of those fantasy pictures she had in her room and later on,she's the one that designed the Winx's Club's logo,but other than that,it's never brought up.They could've explored her interest in drawing a lot more. Like, was it a hobby or was it something she wanted to make a career out of? What exactly did she want to do with her artistic talent as a career if it was the latter? How exactly did she view her own art? What's her artistic process like? Not to mention that it opens up doors to interesting interactions with the other characters. Helia was a painter, they should've had her interact with him because of their shared interests. What if she and Techna got together to discuss to how to design a website aesthetically? Or with Musa and the differences and similarities of the creative process in music and drawing/sketching. If they had emphasized her artistic side more,it would've given her something to stand out from the rest of the Winx.

my opinion on Musa and Riven... well. It could have been my favorite relationship out of them all, I love characters who start off as bad for each other but improve both alone and together - it's not realistic in most cases yeah but I live for the development. But I think people saw their relationship as ONLY "bad for each other" without the potential, especially in later seasons. Musa and Riven were done dirty. I'd really enjoy it if after season 3, maybe 4 they both learned how to compromise and either stay together or split up but on good terms, but they wanted the drama I guess edit: HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT TIMMY'S BREAKDOWN IN S3 AFDSJBAFJSDAFS I LOVE HIM

I say it in other cooment and I will say it again. Riven/sky begin Dead, wouldn't touch most of the viewers. They wanted something that will make a huge impact on the fans,something shocking (since we kinda not even seeing the villains die but more dissappear/locked up) nabu begin nabu touch so many ppl hurts and only his death could have made that impact. In if season 4 was actually the final season of winx it would have been even better.
I think it would've been interesting if sky died. There would be political conflict with eraklyon over the heirs death and bloom would have to deal with the grief and move on. Aisha and nabu could've had their happy ending on earth
What they should’ve did was instead of giving Roxy her “believix” , gave her a beginner transformation. Then that scene would’ve been perfect for her to get her enchantix. Sacrificing herself to save her home planet. I know it would’ve been fast but they could’ve just played it off as Roxy being a prodigy or a once in a lifetime kinda thing

I'm ok with Diaspro being a bad guy or Sky having to lie, but under the circumstances of it happening, and the fact that the narrative portrays Sky as a poor little thing and never calls him out for his lies, and Calls Bloom justified for her aggression towards Diaspro before Diaspro even knew about the lies and not addressing Diaspros ' place as a victim.... actually made me sump the series as a whole before picking up vicariously through you. Knowing you, you're probably going to do a non canon couple version based on chemistry and potential. Arent you?
I've always felt like I was alone in thinking their relationship started off on a lie,a necessary one,but a lie nonetheless.And to me,that sours the whole thing. For starters, the whole Bloom/Sky/Diaspro conflict in S1 had no foreshadowing and came off as manufactured drama. But what really make me dislike is that fact that the show doesn't put much effort into showing the effects the fallout had on the characters. Like the video says,Bloom really should've had some trust issues toward Sky after the whole mess. But aside from a couple of moments,it's largely ignored. When they got just got together at the end of S1 with no fuss,it didn't feel earned in the slightest. There was no conversation between the two about the lie and how Sky handled the whole situation,even with the restrictions he had. And the dumb shit they do in later seasons with them just killed my interest in them as a couple even further.I would've liked it if they hadn't gotten together in the S1 finale and Bloom and Sky had spent S2 trying to earn their trust back and learn about each other on equal footing,then have them be a couple. That would've been far better than just forcing them together at the end of S1 because the plot needs a picture perfect happy ending. Also what Unicorn mentioned about how in S2 Stella and Brandon actually talking thorough their issues about the S1 lie to each other.... that makes Bloom/Sky even more frustrating, because they could've and should've done the same for them. Funny how Sky/Bloom are supposed to be the main couple of the series and yet the least amount of effort is put into that relationship. And you're right that Sky,even with the restrictions he was under,never gets criticized for his handling of the situation. He might not have been able to tell Bloom that he was a prince or that he was engaged to Diaspro,but he could've easily not have gotten her hopes up about being in a relationship with him,by mentioning that he already has a girlfriend or that he doesn't want a girlfriend right now. Also I don't like Diaspro constantly being villainized because it always feels contrived. I preferred the way she was written in comics tbh.
I don't understand why they didn't bring back Nabu for season 8. The continuity is messed up anyway, why not? He was my favorite boy from the series when i was a child because HE HAD REALLY LONG PRETTY HAIR AND COULD DO MAGIC HOW DARE YOU RAINBOW. Why can't we have good things?

I think Floras and Helias relationship is espacially wholesome and cute in the comics! I think Helia has way more time to shine as a character so I would really recommend reading some of the old comics! (Very important: The OLDER ones - The new ones are as trashy as the recent seasons...(._.))

I think the most realistic are Stella and Brandon in terms of the puppy love- and then Techna and Timmy in terms of being dumb idiots who can't communicate for shit.

I don't understand why people say that Stella's character was regressed in S5? Yeah, S6 deserves no mercy, but give S5 a break. She had understandable viewpoints, relatable struggles and no line of dialog from her came of as painful for me. She meant well when trying to organize a date for Aisha (it didn't work out but B+ for effort). She tried her best to make her parents argue less (and actually TALKED about it in an ACTUAL CONVERSATION), despite accepting that they'll probably always stay divorced. That moment where she unleashes all of her sun energy to restore the pillar of light while thinking about her parents gave me CHILLS. What did she do wrong in S5 that causes people to think that her character became a kid? Is it because of that 3 year old transformation episode? Screw that! What other moments ruined her to people in S5? In fact, WHY DO PEOPLE CONSIDER S5 AS ONE OF THE BAD SEASONS AT ALL? S5 IS GREAT!
Also people need to stop romanticising toxic relationships. People who think that's cute need to get themselves a therapy. Musa and Riven relationship is toxic. Musa deserves to be happy. The problem with toxic relationships is the suffering it gives to peoples', their wellbeing and mental health. These characters are not real, so there are no actual feelings hurt or traumas inflicted. Adult fans with developed brains can do whatever they want with these FICTIONAL human beings in a FICTIONAL setting if it entertains them. The only real problem here is normalization of these relationship dynamics in the eyes of children, and it's the responsibility of script writers to make sure to get the point across - it exists, but it's unhealthy, so be careful of who you affiliate with. Kids need to know what a toxic/abusive relationship is, it just needs to be portrayed as an inherently negative thing.
The creators of the show did not care about nabu, back then (when the show was still coming out) they needed a quick character to have as Aisha love interest, the only reason he was created was because they were starting to get chewed out by (the viewers of the show)for having aisha(a poc) single while everyone else (mostly white) had a love interest... So sadly, winx may never bring him back😞

They should've bought Nabu back. Him and Aisha were so amazing together and he understands her more than anyone. Her new BF Nex really annoys me. I disliked his attitude in season 6 and I pretty much can't find any reason to like him either. If the show were to kill him off, I wouldn't even care. He never really made an impression on me like the other boys did.
I always assumed it was a mistake Helia just didn’t notice. Still doesn’t excuse Flora got insecure over him just casually talking to her instead of it being he never texts back/calls her or doesn’t have enough time to date. I mean remember the part Flora lost the volleyball match, Helia noticed she already left, but the next scene he called SKY instead of trying to call Flora and maybe she doesn’t hear her phone ringing so she assumes he isn’t interested in her anymore
Hey, same problem with the Disney princesses. Pocahontas and John Smith are the only interracial couple (I don’t count Tiana and Naveen considering I honestly thought he was African instead of Indian) and they’re unfortunately the only couple that didn’t get a happily ever after. Disney needs to make more interracial couples! At least Milo and Kida stayed together despite they’re not a princess couple unfortunately

I loved Aisha x Nabu it was so painful to see him go, especially since they had the healthiest relationship and they were already discussing their future together. Honestly, Nabu was my favourite character out of all the specialists, and he will always be. He was supportive not only to Aisha but to all his friends too, especially riven In the beginning, Aisha hated Nabu, she hated men in general too and wanted to be independent and she wanted nothing to do with him too. Seeing them totally in love in season 4 was so nice, I am so angry at the writers for taking out such a perfect guy. I agree they deserved so much better

Is NO ONE going to talk about the fact that Bloom has healing powers that she ACTIVELY used in season 4 in believix so we know it still exists. She has already saved Sky and Riven when they were at deaths door but when Nabu reaches his end Bloom just stands there and stares as if she forgot about her powers.

You totally have a point and you're 100% right on that. But there is one big problem. The fact that the powers and spells they had in the previous transformation STAYS in that transformation. They don't move forward for the next transformation. Which like this youtuber address in one of their videos it would have been amazing if the powers transfer over and/ or got upgraded but it didn't. That healing power you're saying about Bloom was back in Charmix. The second Chamix to be exact because; for whatever reason, I remember that they only had the purse just for fighting Darkan, the name was kept though. It was before they turned into Enchantix. Nabu appears during in Enchantix meaning that Bloom already had lost that power. Nabu had unfairly died in Believix. And even then I'm sure life and death was something they weren't supposed to try and manipulate anyways. Sky was in a coma like state if I'm not wrong.

My problem with winx club was always that it felt like the girls were shoved with a guy that’s meant to be her but gender bent in order to wave a huge flag that says “no homo”. It’s like when in cartoons the main male character is a cat and is introduced to a female love interest that is just the same cat but with a bow, eyelashes, and pink skin. None of them felt really authentic to me because of that, except for Aisha and Nabu who felt more genuine and not just shoved together. Idk because of that no homo energy I don’t really care for the cannon couples.
Only Mirtha and her friend gave me that feeling. In the Winx there are couples: They are better separated and given a lot of exposure: Riven and Musa, Bloom and Sky. Another that was obvious from the start: Stella and Brandon, they liked each other long before Bloom appeared. Aisha and Nabu. Others that have little exposure and are always overshadowed by the main couple: Timmy and Tecna, Flora and Helia. The latter would not be so forced if they had more development on screen. Something that you notice when you read the comics, Helia and Flora have incredible chemistry that the screen never captured but the comics did. Any couple with little development can be "forced", even one of the same gender because the couple is great when there is decent development.
@@m.o.l.a6812 I look at it in terms of character archetypes, as a writer myself I look at it as they are written with the same character archetypes as that is the basis of every character. Bloom and sky are both the leader type, helix and flora are both the reserved type, tecna and Timmy are both the nerd, and Brandon and Stella are both the flirts. I feel that it’s forced because the tactic of creating a gender bent version of a main cast of characters is often used to create artificial romance which deflects from any possibility of gay interpretations. It’s a form of censorship that’s happened for a looooong time. Sure more complexities can be added to mask the artificiality but the main purpose of dissuading homosexual interpretation remains there and it is very unfortunate.
@@rosypython3301 Sky and Bloom was very artificial, at least with Stella and Brandon he could feel the attraction (besides Stella being the most interested in Winx boys). Also Timmy and Tecna was artificial, although Timmy liked him, Tecna never showed interest before and over time her relationship became somewhat uncomfortable. The Musa and Riven thing is still pretty bad, mainly because Riven is a mess. However, my point still stands for Helia and Flora, they are not as similar as they are shown, at least in the comics (which developed that couple better), Helia is much colder and more reserved than Flora, he is not so " love and peace "as it is represented, it has a somewhat chaotic nature that contrasts with the sweet and emotional nature of Flora. You can also tell by the way they act with others, Flora befriended the Winx from the beginning but Helia got on badly with all the specialists at first. There are many things that developed better in the comics than in the series but if you did not see it, I recommend them. I'm not saying that all the couples make sense but some developed better than in the series.
I've always thought of Nabu as Black, because a) his countenance was that of a Black man's (very smooth operator) and b) I've always thought of Andros' population as being majority Black. Idk if Rainbow meant for that to be the case, but that's how I'd always seen it. All that being said, the racial coding on the boys is not as obvious as it is on the girls. With Musa and Aisha, it's v clear that they're supposed to be Asian and Black coded, respectively. And even though the coding on Flora is far more ambiguous, she's clearly not white. But for the boys, it's a lot more unclear. I'd always thought of Helia as East Asian and Riven as Hispanic/Latino (which, I'm v aware of the problems with Riven being Hispanic/Latino), but that wasn't ever grounded in anything other than appearance. Which, for the girls, it was never *just* their appearance that led us to believe they were WoC. Idk. I think for all the praise we give Rainbow for the way they've handled race on Winx Club, we to give them just as much critique.
Small correction: Andros is actually Mediterrean coded. IRL, there is an actual Greek island named Andros, and there are various characters with names related to Greek and Roman mythology. As you can also spot froma globe, North Africa is right below the Mediterranean sea. I view Winx Club 'Andros' as a mix between Southern east-Europe, North Africa and Southwest Asia (that obviously includes the Middle East). Nabu's name is a reference to a Babylonian God and the glimpse we catch of his parents has his mom with a bindi, so Nabu's definitely Southwest Asian. BUT: I also always thought of Helia as East Asian coded!
I think bringing back Nabu in a future season can show an interesting conflict between him, Aisha and Nex. Aisha will be super happy to see her ex-fiancé again, but she also wouldn't want to leave Nex (since he's her new BF) just because "the perfect BF is back". She will be torn between the past and the present and choosing either side will be difficult for her. It can be an interesting conflict with either Nabu or Nex realising who Aisha is better with. Either have Nex realising that Aisha and Nabu have better chemistry or have Nabu accepting that it's been a long time since him and Aisha talked and she can't just abandon her new BF immediately for "trauma-fixer" reasons. Just a suggestion here.
Aisha/Layla and Nabu deserved so much better, Nabu was the best guy and not a Gary Stu, he was what many people look to in a person in a relationship. Caring, respectful and kind person, and them boom, killed off for stupid drama. Even all these years I'm still extremely salty about his death, it was stupid and unnecessary and by the way, we already had the grief arc with Timmy and Tecna, we already saw that they didn't have to do this with Aisha and Nabu. No wonder many fans, myself included, ignore his death, and write fics and fan comics of the future with him. IDK why they didn't kill off Riven, like his character had the perfect arc to do so, a guy that tried everything to be good, and it never truly work out so in the last sacrifice he jumps to save Musa and dies, like, it was right there and it would have saved us with so much unnecessary drama and toxicity between him and Musa.
I wish Winx Club wouldn't have had the arbitrary drama thrown in. Yes, drama does happen with couples, but it could have been done in a more reasonable way and used to show how to work through differences in relationships. Instead its all over dramatic and too quickly resolved. Also I would have really liked for there to be a main character who wasn't interested in romance. Like not in a derisive or rude way, but they just didn't want to pursue it. It doesn't really fit any of the cast due to their long term development and growth, but Roxy could have been a potential for that. She could have said she wanted to focus on her fairy powers, focus on her role as the fairy of animals, or just say she hasn't met anyone that sparked an interest. What if Roxy had really thrown herself into her fairy training to catch up with the rest of the Winx? What if she achieved Butterflix *before* the other Winx by devoting herself to protecting the magical animals in the nature park (which she clearly had been working in for a while) and eventually Enchantix because of this? Man Roxy could have been the avenue for the Winx to get Butterflix and learn from HER. They really did us dirty in ignoring Roxy...also SHE looks perfect in pink so Bloom could keep wearing blues darnit! Oh right, this was about relationships. My point still stands though.
Musa and Riven had the potential to be one of those cute enemies to lovers tropes 🥺 it’s nostalgic and kinda nice to see them back together in my opinion
I would have loved if they actually went more into Diaspro's character. When you think about it, she was engaged to Sky since they were kids, which meant that she had to train her whole life become a queen. But suddenly all those years of training were destroyed because her fiance fell for someone else. I would have loved if instead of making her obsessed with Sky, they made her upset and mad that her whole life 0lans were ruined. And later she could have learned that SHE can choose who she wants to be instead of letting other people decide for her. It would have been great if she discovered that by for example actually talking to Bloom and become friends with her. This way, Bloom could have also shown maturity by sympathizing with Diaspro. They made the relation between Bloom and Diaspro black and white, with Bloom being the good person and Diaspro being the bad one. They just depicted her as Sky's obsessed ex fiance. In my opinion, she had the right to be mad (of course doesn't excuse that she still manipulated Sky in season 3). Also Flora and Helia are literally the best couple (to me). They trust each other no matter what and their shyness was just wholesome. They did them dirty with the Krystal and frozen heart stuffs. I remember that in one of the first seasons, Stella said something about jealousy being important in a relationship and Flora not agreeing with because she thought she should be able to trust her partner. But they made her jealous of Krystal for no reason. I would have loved if,when meeting Krystal, Flora would have been happy to meet one of Helia's friends. She should have shown that she trusted her boyfriend with other girls. But no,they needed to make drama. After Nabu's death, I either wanted Aisha to stay single or end up with Musa. Just imagine how amazing it would have been. Aisha who just lost her boyfriend while Musa just got out of a toxic relationship, them emotionally supporting each other and then falling in love. Just perfect. Anyway Nabu deserved better. Timmy and tecna needed way more screen time! Not only were they the most unproblematic but they were also the most realistic couple. They actually talked and bond through their interests. It wasn't like Musa who just fall for Riven because of his misunderstood bad boy attitude. Timmy and tecna's relationship was organic. I'm even gonna talk about Musa and Riven. Brandon and Stella tho. Those two are made for each other. Stella only liked him for looks and fake price status but grew to love for the person he is. Brandon didn't care what she looked like because inside he already found her beautiful and actually felt guilty for lying to her. Stella wasn't mad at Brandon for not being a prince, she was mad at him for lying. And that just shows that she cared about him. I love this couple so much 😩
So glad to see Tecna and Timmy so high up on the list. They’re my favorite ship, and I’m so glad they didn’t get caught up in the petty squabbles that the other couples endured.

Haven’t watched the whole video yet but just wanted to say that Nabu’s death was super painful (especially since he was the only Black/Indian coded guy in the main cast). Also wasn’t Daphne technically dead too/was a spirit? So why did the writers make HER able to come back to life but Nabu couldn’t??? Aisha’s new love interests (Nex & Roy) were never good enough nor truly understand her like Nabu did.

Because Daphne was brought back by canceling the Sirenix curse. It's not the same as bringing someone back from the dead. Nabu actually died, Daphne was only cursed. I mean, think about it? How is it that only Daphne, of all dead people in the universe, is able to still exist as a spirit? That's because she ain't actually dead, just cursed to be uncorporeal.
Aisha could've used her Sirenix wish to bring Nabu back if she wanted, but she decided to save Nereus instead because, thanks to Roy, she was able to move on. She didn't want to have a new loss to grieve on.

None of this has to do with the fact he is person of color. Not everything needs to be about person skin. They did make him to keep to him. Since the others boys are basically playing the more common role of females in alot of tv series/movies.
Now, ppl say - "Ok sky should've been killed or riven" but if it was one of them it didn't have the same effect nabu's death had. Alot of ppl dislike both. And they aren't even close to be the perfect bf. Again nothing to do with their skin.

The person/people who make it out alive are always white. Why do you think that is? It has racist undertones, and the fact that writers never develop their characters of colour, give them a meaningful storyline or just use them to serve under the white protagonists makes them seem like an afterthought in the writers' eyes. This is why representation of more black/POC characters (especially in leading roles) is so important in media. Of course we're going to talk about how the only dark-skinned guy dies!

In s1 episode 3, when the Trix spell the enchanted eggs, 4kids adds dialogue that their bite will cause symotoms like projectile vomiting. This wasnt in the original. Not only is this dialogue unneeded but also beyond kids level. There are several more examples where stupid changes were made to the plotline. But if u find 4kids better, i respect ur opinion. Peace
My personal favourite is Stella x Brandon solely on that episode in season 3 where Stella was turned into a ugly monster and Brandon still loved her regardless. He saw all the ugliness and still thought shes the most beautiful person in the world. The moment lives rent free in my mind
I think stellas and Brandon’s r the most realistic. They aren’t always lovely and all kissy and stuff and they have random fights and random jealousy moments and they always talk it out. Like a lot of the couples couldn’t :/ *cough cough* bloom and sky. I feel like technas and Timmy didn’t have enough screen time so I didn’t really like get into their relationship as much as I was obsessed with stellas and Brandon’s relationship

Nabu and Aisha is a really great couple too, but really I dun like to look at S4 onwards So to me it's just S3 Which is too little... I still dun want to accept anything from S4 and onwards including that nabu died after Only 1 season

And don't get me started on Flora and Helia. They are always pushed to the side, either as characters or as a couple. Helia had more storylines in the comics than in the show. Also, they made Saladin his grandpa (uncle in 4kids version), and they had no interactions as a family.

Timmy and Tecna are basically a neurodivergent couple, that learned how to express their feelings and thoughts, they complemented each other and their biggest problem was not being like a neurotipical couple (and they learned that they were fine because all people love different). Layla/Aisha and Nabu set the standard for me as a child. Never had I ever seen a black girl as a strong character in media targeted towards kids. She was a fairy, a princess, and her character design was amazing. The introduction of Nabu was glorious as well. Then he died and Aisha’s character took a turn. It made me realize how often black women are antagonized for expressing their emotions.

Timmy and Tecna are the best couples. Compared to everyone else they only argued once in Season 2. They share things in common. They can socially distance themselves and still trust each other. They can speak simultaneously. Also Timmy is the best boyfriend. He believed that Tecna was still alive when no one else did. He put 90% of his work to find her. They'll spend time together doing projects. They start each other off with being cute and dorky being that they can't dance.

When the show was still coming out the viewers were upset at the creators for not giving aisha(a poc) a love interest while everyone else(mostly white) had a love interest...so sadly they may never bring him back😞

I always lowkey hoped that Musa would grow up and leave Rivens angsty and unstable butt behind, and find herself a lovely musician girlfriend who helped her learn how to communicate in a healthy way. And I was like 10 years old and in the conservative south. That's how bad their relationship was; it set the bar for what a bad relationship looked like for me as a kid.
We absolutely stan the neurodivergent TimmyxTechna and the introvert FloraxHelia. And NabuxAisha will maintain that ideal because they never got a chance to be ruined by the writers.

that is so true! riven in the first three seasons was probably the most interesting of the specialists, and letting him grow up and move on from his toxic traits while still having a little chip on his shoulder (i personally think that's just who he is as a person) would have been so good for him! it also would have allowed him and musa to actually have a healthy relationship that didn't have to go smoothly all the time, which i wouldn't have minded either since that would better fit into the "realistic" view that's mentioned in the video. so much wasted potential here

I think the reason why have written Riven out of the show in season 6 (was it season 6?) is because they realized how much of a mess Riven has become as a character and just didn't know how to handle him anymore beyond that point. It's sad.

Nabu and Aisha, and Flora and Helia are my favourites. Season 1-4 in particular. Despite the drama between some of the other Winx couples, Flora and Helia don't actually fight about it, like Aisha and Nabu. They know that they can trust one another. It was mostly the insecure relationship dynamics that had the most drama, specifically Musa with Riven, and Bloom with Sky. I genuinely think that Bloom would be better off with Andy. I want to see their relationship before Bloom left for Alfea.

Like, was it a hobby or was it something she wanted to make a career out of? What exactly did she want to do with her artistic talent as a career if it was the latter? How exactly did she view her own art? What's her artistic process like?
Not to mention that it opens up doors to interesting interactions with the other characters. Helia was a painter, they should've had her interact with him because of their shared interests. What if she and Techna got together to discuss to how to design a website aesthetically? Or with Musa and the differences and similarities of the creative process in music and drawing/sketching. If they had emphasized her artistic side more,it would've given her something to stand out from the rest of the Winx.

my opinion on Musa and Riven... well. It could have been my favorite relationship out of them all, I love characters who start off as bad for each other but improve both alone and together - it's not realistic in most cases yeah but I live for the development. But I think people saw their relationship as ONLY "bad for each other" without the potential, especially in later seasons. Musa and Riven were done dirty. I'd really enjoy it if after season 3, maybe 4 they both learned how to compromise and either stay together or split up but on good terms, but they wanted the drama I guess

What they should’ve did was instead of giving Roxy her “believix” , gave her a beginner transformation. Then that scene would’ve been perfect for her to get her enchantix. I'm ok with Diaspro being a bad guy or Sky having to lie, but under the circumstances of it happening, and the fact that the narrative portrays Sky as a poor little thing and never calls him out for his lies, and Calls Bloom justified for her aggression towards Diaspro before Diaspro even knew about the lies and not addressing Diaspros ' place as a victim.... actually made me sump the series as a whole before picking up vicariously through you.

I've always felt like I was alone in thinking their relationship started off on a lie,a necessary one,but a lie nonetheless.And to me,that sours the whole thing. For starters, the whole Bloom/Sky/Diaspro conflict in S1 had no foreshadowing and came off as manufactured drama. But what really make me dislike is that fact that the show doesn't put much effort into showing the effects the fallout had on the characters. Like
the video says,Bloom really should've had some trust issues toward Sky after the whole mess. But aside from a couple of moments,it's largely ignored. When they got just got together at the end of S1 with no fuss,it didn't feel earned in the slightest.
There was no conversation between the two about the lie and how Sky handled the whole situation,even with the restrictions he had. And the dumb shit they do in later seasons with them just killed my interest in them as a couple even further.I would've liked it if they hadn't gotten together in the S1 finale and Bloom and Sky had spent S2 trying to earn their trust back and learn about each other on equal footing,then have them be a couple. That would've been far better than just forcing them together at the end of S1 because the plot needs a picture perfect happy ending.
Also what Unicorn mentioned about how in S2 Stella and Brandon actually talking thorough their issues about the S1 lie to each other.... that makes Bloom/Sky even more frustrating, because they could've and should've done the same for them. Funny how Sky/Bloom are supposed to be the main couple of the series and yet the least amount of effort is put into that relationship.
And you're right that Sky,even with the restrictions he was under,never gets criticized for his handling of the situation. He might not have been able to tell Bloom that he was a prince or that he was engaged to Diaspro,but he could've easily not have gotten her hopes up about being in a relationship with him,by mentioning that he already has a girlfriend or that he doesn't want a girlfriend right now. Also I don't like Diaspro constantly being villainized because it always feels contrived. I preferred the way she was written in comics tbh.

I don't understand why people say that Stella's character was regressed in S5? Yeah, S6 deserves no mercy, but give S5 a break. She had understandable viewpoints, relatable struggles and no line of dialog from her came of as painful for me. She meant well when trying to organize a date for Aisha (it didn't work out but B+ for effort). She tried her best to make her parents argue less (and actually TALKED about it in an ACTUAL CONVERSATION), despite accepting that they'll probably always stay divorced. That moment where she unleashes all of her sun energy to restore the pillar of light while thinking about her parents gave me CHILLS.
What did she do wrong in S5 that causes people to think that her character became a kid? Is it because of that 3 year old transformation episode? Screw that! What other moments ruined her to people in S5?

The problem with toxic relationships is the suffering it gives to peoples', their wellbeing and mental health. These characters are not real, so there are no actual feelings hurt or traumas inflicted. Adult fans with developed brains can do whatever they want with these FICTIONAL human beings in a FICTIONAL setting if it entertains them.
The only real problem here is normalization of these relationship dynamics in the eyes of children, and it's the responsibility of script writers to make sure to get the point across - it exists, but it's unhealthy, so be careful of who you affiliate with. Kids need to know what a toxic/abusive relationship is, it just needs to be portrayed as an inherently negative thing.

The creators of the show did not care about nabu, back then (when the show was still coming out) they needed a quick character to have as Aisha love interest, the only reason he was created was because they were starting to get chewed out by (the viewers of the show)for having aisha(a poc) single while everyone else (mostly white) had a love interest... So sadly, winx may never bring him back😞

They should've bought Nabu back. Him and Aisha were so amazing together and he understands her more than anyone. Her new BF Nex really annoys me. I disliked his attitude in season 6 and I pretty much can't find any reason to like him either. If the show were to kill him off, I wouldn't even care. He never really made an impression on me like the other boys did.
As for Flora x Helia, let's not forget the fact Helia introduced Flora to Krystal as his "friend".

Hey, same problem with the Disney princesses. Pocahontas and John Smith are the only interracial couple (I don’t count Tiana and Naveen considering I honestly thought he was African instead of Indian) and they’re unfortunately the only couple that didn’t get a happily ever after. Disney needs to make more interracial couples! At least Milo and Kida stayed together despite they’re not a princess couple unfortunately

I loved Aisha x Nabu it was so painful to see him go, especially since they had the healthiest relationship and they were already discussing their future together. Honestly, Nabu was my favourite character out of all the specialists, and he will always be. He was supportive not only to Aisha but to all his friends too, especially riven
In the beginning, Aisha hated Nabu, she hated men in general too and wanted to be independent and she wanted nothing to do with him too. Seeing them totally in love in season 4 was so nice, I am so angry at the writers for taking out such a perfect guy. I agree they deserved so much better

Is NO ONE going to talk about the fact that Bloom has healing powers that she ACTIVELY used in season 4 in believix so we know it still exists. She has already saved Sky and Riven when they were at deaths door but when Nabu reaches his end Bloom just stands there and stares as if she forgot about her powers.
And let’s not forget that they could have used the Time Machine power(?) to go back in time and save Nabu. I don’t remember what season it was but they would go back in the past to do something 😭 my memory is bad
You totally have a point and you're 100% right on that. But there is one big problem.
The fact that the powers and spells they had in the previous transformation STAYS in that transformation. They don't move forward for the next transformation. Which like this youtuber address in one of their videos it would have been amazing if the powers transfer over and/ or got upgraded but it didn't. That healing power you're saying about Bloom was back in Charmix. The second Chamix to be exact because; for whatever reason, I remember that they only had the purse just for fighting Darkan, the name was kept though. It was before they turned into Enchantix.
Nabu appears during in Enchantix meaning that Bloom already had lost that power. Nabu had unfairly died in Believix.
And even then I'm sure life and death was something they weren't supposed to try and manipulate anyways. Sky was in a coma like state if I'm not wrong.

My problem with winx club was always that it felt like the girls were shoved with a guy that’s meant to be her but gender bent in order to wave a huge flag that says “no homo”. It’s like when in cartoons the main male character is a cat and is introduced to a female love interest that is just the same cat but with a bow, eyelashes, and pink skin. None of them felt really authentic to me because of that, except for Aisha and Nabu who felt more genuine and not just shoved together. Idk because of that no homo energy I don’t really care for the cannon couples.
Only Mirtha and her friend gave me that feeling. In the Winx there are couples:
They are better separated and given a lot of exposure: Riven and Musa, Bloom and Sky.
Another that was obvious from the start: Stella and Brandon, they liked each other long before Bloom appeared. Aisha and Nabu.
Others that have little exposure and are always overshadowed by the main couple: Timmy and Tecna, Flora and Helia.
The latter would not be so forced if they had more development on screen. Something that you notice when you read the comics, Helia and Flora have incredible chemistry that the screen never captured but the comics did. Any couple with little development can be "forced", even one of the same gender because the couple is great when there is decent development.
@@m.o.l.a6812 I look at it in terms of character archetypes, as a writer myself I look at it as they are written with the same character archetypes as that is the basis of every character. Bloom and sky are both the leader type, helix and flora are both the reserved type, tecna and Timmy are both the nerd, and Brandon and Stella are both the flirts. I feel that it’s forced because the tactic of creating a gender bent version of a main cast of characters is often used to create artificial romance which deflects from any possibility of gay interpretations. It’s a form of censorship that’s happened for a looooong time. Sure more complexities can be added to mask the artificiality but the main purpose of dissuading homosexual interpretation remains there and it is very unfortunate.
@@rosypython3301 Sky and Bloom was very artificial, at least with Stella and Brandon he could feel the attraction (besides Stella being the most interested in Winx boys). Also Timmy and Tecna was artificial, although Timmy liked him, Tecna never showed interest before and over time her relationship became somewhat uncomfortable. The Musa and Riven thing is still pretty bad, mainly because Riven is a mess. However, my point still stands for Helia and Flora, they are not as similar as they are shown, at least in the comics (which developed that couple better), Helia is much colder and more reserved than Flora, he is not so " love and peace "as it is represented, it has a somewhat chaotic nature that contrasts with the sweet and emotional nature of Flora. You can also tell by the way they act with others, Flora befriended the Winx from the beginning but Helia got on badly with all the specialists at first. There are many things that developed better in the comics than in the series but if you did not see it, I recommend them. I'm not saying that all the couples make sense but some developed better than in the series.

I've always thought of Nabu as Black, because a) his countenance was that of a Black man's (very smooth operator) and b) I've always thought of Andros' population as being majority Black. Idk if Rainbow meant for that to be the case, but that's how I'd always seen it.
All that being said, the racial coding on the boys is not as obvious as it is on the girls. With Musa and Aisha, it's v clear that they're supposed to be Asian and Black coded, respectively. And even though the coding on Flora is far more ambiguous, she's clearly not white. But for the boys, it's a lot more unclear. I'd always thought of Helia as East Asian and Riven as Hispanic/Latino (which, I'm v aware of the problems with Riven being Hispanic/Latino), but that wasn't ever grounded in anything other than appearance. Which, for the girls, it was never *just* their appearance that led us to believe they were WoC.
Idk. I think for all the praise we give Rainbow for the way they've handled race on Winx Club, we to give them just as much critique.
Small correction:
Andros is actually Mediterrean coded. IRL, there is an actual Greek island named Andros, and there are various characters with names related to Greek and Roman mythology. As you can also spot froma globe, North Africa is right below the Mediterranean sea. I view Winx Club 'Andros' as a mix between Southern east-Europe, North Africa and Southwest Asia (that obviously includes the Middle East). Nabu's name is a reference to a Babylonian God and the glimpse we catch of his parents has his mom with a bindi, so Nabu's definitely Southwest Asian.
BUT: I also always thought of Helia as East Asian coded!

I think bringing back Nabu in a future season can show an interesting conflict between him, Aisha and Nex. Aisha will be super happy to see her ex-fiancé again, but she also wouldn't want to leave Nex (since he's her new BF) just because "the perfect BF is back". She will be torn between the past and the present and choosing either side will be difficult for her.
It can be an interesting conflict with either Nabu or Nex realising who Aisha is better with. Either have Nex realising that Aisha and Nabu have better chemistry or have Nabu accepting that it's been a long time since him and Aisha talked and she can't just abandon her new BF immediately for "trauma-fixer" reasons.
Just a suggestion here.
Aisha/Layla and Nabu deserved so much better, Nabu was the best guy and not a Gary Stu, he was what many people look to in a person in a relationship.
Caring, respectful and kind person, and them boom, killed off for stupid drama.
Even all these years I'm still extremely salty about his death, it was stupid and unnecessary and by the way, we already had the grief arc with Timmy and Tecna, we already saw that they didn't have to do this with Aisha and Nabu.
No wonder many fans, myself included, ignore his death, and write fics and fan comics of the future with him.
IDK why they didn't kill off Riven, like his character had the perfect arc to do so, a guy that tried everything to be good, and it never truly work out so in the last sacrifice he jumps to save Musa and dies, like, it was right there and it would have saved us with so much unnecessary drama and toxicity between him and Musa.
I saw someone in the comments section saying it wouldn't have the same impact, which I call bullshit on.
I wish Winx Club wouldn't have had the arbitrary drama thrown in. Yes, drama does happen with couples, but it could have been done in a more reasonable way and used to show how to work through differences in relationships. Instead its all over dramatic and too quickly resolved. Also I would have really liked for there to be a main character who wasn't interested in romance. Like not in a derisive or rude way, but they just didn't want to pursue it.
It doesn't really fit any of the cast due to their long term development and growth, but Roxy could have been a potential for that. She could have said she wanted to focus on her fairy powers, focus on her role as the fairy of animals, or just say she hasn't met anyone that sparked an interest. What if Roxy had really thrown herself into her fairy training to catch up with the rest of the Winx? What if she achieved Butterflix *before* the other Winx by devoting herself to protecting the magical animals in the nature park (which she clearly had been working in for a while) and eventually Enchantix because of this? Man Roxy could have been the avenue for the Winx to get Butterflix and learn from HER. They really did us dirty in ignoring Roxy...also SHE looks perfect in pink so Bloom could keep wearing blues darnit! Oh right, this was about relationships.
My point still stands though.

Musa and Riven had the potential to be one of those cute enemies to lovers tropes 🥺 it’s nostalgic and kinda nice to see them back together in my opinion
I would have loved if they actually went more into Diaspro's character. When you think about it, she was engaged to Sky since they were kids, which meant that she had to train her whole life become a queen. But suddenly all those years of training were destroyed because her fiance fell for someone else. I would have loved if instead of making her obsessed with Sky, they made her upset and mad that her whole life 0lans were ruined. And later she could have learned that SHE can choose who she wants to be instead of letting other people decide for her. It would have been great if she discovered that by for example actually talking to Bloom and become friends with her. This way, Bloom could have also shown maturity by sympathizing with Diaspro.
They made the relation between Bloom and Diaspro black and white, with Bloom being the good person and Diaspro being the bad one. They just depicted her as Sky's obsessed ex fiance. In my opinion, she had the right to be mad (of course doesn't excuse that she still manipulated Sky in season 3).
Also Flora and Helia are literally the best couple (to me). They trust each other no matter what and their shyness was just wholesome. They did them dirty with the Krystal and frozen heart stuffs. I remember that in one of the first seasons, Stella said something about jealousy being important in a relationship and Flora not agreeing with because she thought she should be able to trust her partner. But they made her jealous of Krystal for no reason. I would have loved if,when meeting Krystal, Flora would have been happy to meet one of Helia's friends. She should have shown that she trusted her boyfriend with other girls. But no,they needed to make drama.
After Nabu's death, I either wanted Aisha to stay single or end up with Musa. Just imagine how amazing it would have been. Aisha who just lost her boyfriend while Musa just got out of a toxic relationship, them emotionally supporting each other and then falling in love. Just perfect.
Anyway Nabu deserved better.
Timmy and tecna needed way more screen time! Not only were they the most unproblematic but they were also the most realistic couple. They actually talked and bond through their interests. It wasn't like Musa who just fall for Riven because of his misunderstood bad boy attitude. Timmy and tecna's relationship was organic.
I'm even gonna talk about Musa and Riven.
Brandon and Stella tho. Those two are made for each other. Stella only liked him for looks and fake price status but grew to love for the person he is. Brandon didn't care what she looked like because inside he already found her beautiful and actually felt guilty for lying to her. Stella wasn't mad at Brandon for not being a prince, she was mad at him for lying. And that just shows that she cared about him. I love this couple so much 😩
So glad to see Tecna and Timmy so high up on the list. They’re my favorite ship, and I’m so glad they didn’t get caught up in the petty squabbles that the other couples endured.
