My favorite Winx girl has always been Flora, I genuinely loved her a lot, and seeing her with no romantic pairing wasn't even an issue to me, idk I felt like she was great by herself already. But man, when I first saw Helia... it wad love at first sight again, and I just wanted them to be together no matter what. Curiously, I believe both represent the types of men and women that I tend to fall for lmao so I guess they're part of my bi awakening journey. I loved that they were wholesome and without all of that drama. At the time I didn't even understand why Musa and Riven were together anyways.
Agreed! I just loved how comfortable these two were together. Also, I am glad their relationship was not solely built on ridiculous teen drama. Of course couples will have their differences and it's important to show that but these two just fit well together and are able to work past it. They really are wholesome and I welcome such a healthy relationship.
I love flora aswell love her nature powers the colors green and pink like I love green my favorite color I don't like pink, she is a latina love her looks and outfits. Helia the best guy love them together.

What I really love about Flora and Helia is the fact that we get to see the period before they start dating unfold, it doesn't feel like they are paired together by "default". Yeah, obvioulsy they are made for the other, but there are doubts and it takes a whole season for them to gtet together, which i really enjoyed ! Nabu and Aisha are a close second, but it's because i am a sucker for ennemies to lovers lmao
I really think fan don't give enough crédit to Timmy. You should have mention the Time he was the only one who tried all the things he could to save Tecna when everybody tought she was dead And gave up on her(Even the Winx gave up!) ! He should have more appretiation. Too Bad that Even the Winx writter don't give them enough appretiation And don't do enough interessing things with them As a little boy, he was the one I prefered because the others specialist were too perfect, too "idealised". I felt that Timmy was Closer than me. He was smart, he was Shy And unsure of himself but without him, the other specialist are nothing

Agreed. Or to have her being single for at least one season, would have been great. Having her healing through her friends and then, next season, introduce someone who would have been her love interest, as it would touch an important topic. When your lover dies, is it ok to move on from the love you had ? Is it betraying them or not ? Some people would feel like they are betraying the one they loved and lost. But, moving on is also a part of life. You would only betray them, if you forgot them forever, but they will live in you and would wish for your happiness. It is for example, what lead to most of the love triangle drama in Inuyasha. Kikyo died after basically putting him in a coma, then few... months (?) after he woke up, she is brought back to life, but Inuyasha was also starting to move on, though it was hard... that what lead to him being torn between Kikyo and Kagome... Plus, neither of the two women he loved belonged with him. One is dead, the other is from another Era...
i kinda disagree, im sick of always seeing the black girl not having a romantic partner or something tragic happening to them while everyone else can be happy so even though its cliche, it's nice to see that there are always more fish in the sea for her. Well that is just not true. Just because Sky was in engaged with Diaspro when they met it dosen't meen their relationship is based on a lie. As a matter of fact Sky and Bloom started dateing AFTER the end of season 1, yes they did like eachother before the Diaspro incident but Sky didn't made any move on Bloom, they were just good friends. And Sky was never in love with Diaspro any way.

I agree @Karlos1234ify, saw no apology or no major punishment when she did that crap. She had no proof that Diaspro was a witch and attack a princess out of nowhere, yeah Bloom doesn't get a pass from me. Plus, both she and Sky became very annoying and are my least favorite characters

Also rushing in to things is bloom bigest character's flaw, she did not end up in trouble for it that time but especialy in season 3 it did cause her a lot of problems. Also yeh Sky and Bloom become very annoying after season 4
My favourites: 1) Aisha and Nabu: they will always be superior to me, their love story was so interesting from the very beginning and was just so pure and beautiful. The scene where Nabu passes, will always make me cry. I think they truly loved each other and were made for each other. 2) Tecna and Timmy: sure, they were a bit like an old-married couple but to me that just proves that they have a very healthy and stable relationship. Their story is also super interesting, especially in season 3 when Tecna is sucked up into the Omega Dimension and Timmy dedicates his entire life to trying to get her back even when everyone else loses hope. 3) Flore and Helia: they are just so sweet together and they're both very similar types of people without being identical characters.
I think Darcy and Rivens personalities actually fit together. Okay hear me out. Darcy is clever and quiet. She does the work done behind the shadows being manipulative rather than being aggressive. On the other hand Riven is not the smartest but likes to show himself. He thinks he is better than others. In short I would love to see them as a couple villain after season 1. Riven still going to red fountian for his training but being evil. (Turning a good character into bad could be add variety to the show) With Darcy making the plans using dark magic and Riven helping her in physical strength way. (Though I love trix as triplets) (Also Musa deserves a better partner)
In the comics where the Trix first meet the Specialists, when Stormy uses her magic to attack Riven, Darcy freaks out like crazy and is concerned for him. I think in the comics, Darcy definitely had feelings for him.

Flora and Helia are really the best couple! They are made for each other..and their relationship is so healthy also romantic..I love how both are sensitive and have similar personality..definitely couple goals for me🥰

The musical shoes weren't that bad as it ties the blue and pink together but, flora's bouquet seemed so random and Aisha's morphix ribbon didn't coordinate with the blue/light blue dress
I honestly would have loved to see Aisha be and independent person after season 4. Don't get me wrong, i think that aisha and nabu were cute together, but it would have been a great message to kids that you can be a strong person without an SO. Maybe it's because i'm aro and it would have been cool to see a character that doesn't have a love interest/SO and can still be an awesome character. Her relationship with roy and nex just seemed really forced and the weird love triangle just felt like a poor attempt by the writers to make Aisha's story in the later seasons more interesting.
Ngl i wish she had like 1 season where she was with no one and her and musa were independent but i still liked Nex and her as he acted tough but always had a soft spot for her

Thank you for pointing out the blur left of Darcy’s feelings for Riven because it’s still so unclear for me- i like to consider that when the trix became kind of crazy around episode 20, her somewhat feelings for him fade away because of her power hunger.

Riven x Musa had potential.. and it was absolutely wasted. Don’t hate the couple, hate the writers. ((Edit: Darcy and Riven had ZERO potential. It’s a ship that was only used as a plot device for the story to move forward. Sameee Musa and Riven became very toxic in the later seasons but it was one of the more entertaining relationships to watch for y'know. Bloom and Sky always felt so boring to me as a kid, I always got so excited whenever Musa and Riven moments were on screen and then they broke up 🙂 My kid heart was so disappointed but it's understandable, the two of them just had to go their separate ways
1. Aisha and Nabu - they really seemed kind of perfect, and they had an interesting beginning. 2. Stella and Brandon - they seems like the most real, balanced and believable couple, they're not afraid to call each other for their mistakes and when they have issues they try to work on them. Also both of these characters are bit stereotype so see them together and see there's much more into them is great. 3. Tecna and Timmy - they really are like old married couple, they're cute together. Both are geeky introverets who struggle to show their emotions and together they learn how. 4. Flora and Helia - they're good fit for each other, both are more connected to their sensitive sides. There were few unnecessary conflicts but they're cute and work together very well i'd say. 5. Bloom and Sky - they got annoying very quickly, their relationship started as a lie and then a lot stupid stuff happened. After season 4 both characters got annoying and their relationship even more annoying. 6. Daphne and Thoren - they're sweet together but absolutely rushed, i enjoy them together but that wedding was stupid. 7. Aisha and Nex - they have similar personalities but Nex is jerk only little bit less than Riven. IDK i'm not a fan of this relationship. 8. Icy and Tritannus - they both awful people so it makes sense why they together and during season it was showed they both cared about each other but it was all so rushed and out of character for both that i can't put it any higher. 9. Aisha and Roy - there was never mentioned if they a real couple and then love triangle with Nex. I think they would be great couple but again we don't know if they were really together. 10. Musa and Riven - their relationship was absolutely toxic, they have some really amazing moments together but their relationship is really toxic and they should broke up already in season 4. Musa deserved better. 11. Riven and Darcy - Were they a real couple? Did Darcy like him or was she only using him? Was Riven only under her spell or really liked her? You can't even tell if they're real couple. I don't like that writers were pushing Aisha to be in a relationship after Nabu, like why? Love triangle with Roy and Nex was absolutely annoying and stupid. No Aisha and Roy, no Aisha and Nex, Roy and Nex should've been a thing - they would be perfect couple.
Yes, thank you. Bloom & Sky relationship was built on a lie. Not to mention Sky was STILL engaged to Diaspro. Yet he kept Bloom around as the side / main chick. The whole beef between Bloom & Diaspro, got started because Bloom SHOT first.
Musa and Riven will always be my favorite couple, I know the share a toxic behavior and maybe not-so lovey dovey personalities, but then I remember that they are the most realistic (as realistic you can be in a kids series about fairies) in terms of first relationships, first love even. They technically grew up together and with their relationship, they were not and are not perfect and ultimately could not achieve the "perfect couple" with no toxicity like Flora & Helia but they tried, they did do something to change the actions that were keeping them apart, they went through a lot of nasty thing together and supported each other in the end, accepting that they were not always right because both Musa and Riven share this personality trait of "pride" so yeah, toxic couple, kind of a childhood couple, I love them all, but Musa & Riven are just something else for me xD

Flora and Helia- I really love how they’re so perfect for each other, both are more sensitive and pacifistic of their groups, and are both too shy to admit their feelings for the other. I really love how Chatta kept at it in Flora finally going for it, especially in the 4Kids version when she’s too worried about saving the Flower (Tree) of Life, Helia tells her heart has a lot of power, which is what allows her to break through her insecurities, letting her grow as a fairy. But also the Rai version of him indirectly saying “I love myself too” is hilarious 😆 Also 4Kids wedding joke was so hilarious, Flora is already getting married in her head and accidentally got the spell in class wrong by saying experdelohelia instead of helion, which made it fit better why her friends were laughing so hard, they could tell what she was thinking of. But yes I do appreciate the Krystal drama and S6, showing even a perfect couple can have misunderstandings. Also I can’t help but adore the dance in S5, if only Helia’s ponytail was in it 😫 2. Stella and Brandon- I agree, they weren’t my favorite at first, but I really love Brandon as a character. He genuinely loves Stella and isn’t dating her because she’s a princess, and isn’t afraid to be honest with her when she’s taking things too far. I also really loved the Mirror of Truth story, with Stella convinced he and others only liked her beauty, but he truly loves her, warts and all, even admitting the spell wore off. Mitzi drama was annoying though 3. Leila and Nabu- OMG, both are actually probably the most mature couple. I really love how she didn’t need a boyfriend, so she actually hated him at first, but eventually when she got to know him realized how similar they are. I do love he and Helia are the only two guys that don’t get insanely jealous over Andy and his friends, showing their maturity in comparison to the rest. I kinda get Pocahontas and John Smith vibes from them as unfortunately they were forced to sacrifice their happiness for the greater good of Earth and its fairies. I was so shocked and mad watching Nabu die. 🤬 Why couldn’t it have been Riven instead?! 4. Bloom and Sky- overrated. The bulk of their relationship is literally focused on Diaspro being turned into an immature jealous brat who refuses to let go of Sky. If Bloom wasn’t so immature and jealous of this everytime and simply learned to ignore Diaspro’s antics, it’d be a lot better. Something else that bugs me is Sky wouldn’t actually say no to Diaspro. Like it gives me that icky feeling of “Let’s invite her to the wedding because she’s still an old friend of mine” YOU DON’T INVITE AN EX TO A WEDDING, that is a recipe for disaster. Like I hate how Bloom got mad at him in S8, when it was Diaspro who completely lied to him to prevent him from even contacting her to say he was on an important mission. Used to love them, but it got tainted with this sickening and overused love triangle. Also I don’t like how their relationship was based on a lie, at least in 4Kids it does show a couple of times Bloom is worried about if he still likes Diaspro or not in S2 5. Tecna and Timmy- they’re an adorkable couple! My only problem is Timmy is basically the male version of her, and I feel a majority of their relationship is based on forcing them to put their phones away and just have a good time. The date in S5 felt more like a first date thing than talking to each other in the flesh. I still love Timmy’s shyness to impress her, and in S2 Tecna learns to accept him as he really is instead of getting frustrated he’s too nervous to ask her out and stop treating her like a computer, but treat her like a girl. 6. Roy and Leila- I really do like them as a couple, but I feel there’s not really any personality to him aside being a good guy who can use magic too. If it was more fleshed out, who knows. 7. Daphne and Thoren- Yes, I cannot stand how she got to be alive again, but not Musa’s mom or Nabu. I kinda like how Daphne has a more insecure side despite being a powerful fairy. I feel she’d be more like Elsa, given her stark blonde hair and Bloom having red hair like Anna lol. But no, she only spent like half a season with this rando and agrees to marry him, despite he’s never even met Oritel and Miriam. Nor does it explain is he even a royal from Erakleon or not. Also I thought Sky and Bloom were supposed to be the future king and queen of Sparx (Domino) and Erakleon. 8. Leila and Nex- I don’t get why her personality went from sweet and a little shy to being kinda bossy and headstrong in later seasons. I always felt he was a jerk a lot of times, especially to Roy in an attempt to make him look like an idiot in front of her, and he never actually apologizes for being a dick either. Worse is in S7 when Riven left, he kinda became his replacement for the immature boyfriend. At least in S8 he was really supportive when she was freaking out over a major speech. 9. Musa and Riven- It pains me so much to put my favorite fairy in last. I always loved her as a kid, but always hated Riven. They have very poor communication, which further adds to their relationship drama. Like in S3 when she contemplated about breaking up, its Helia who tells Riven instead of her. And in the motorcycle scene, she even snapped at him for arguing with her about his bike malfunctioning. In S4, I do love how they finally broke up, with him blowing up nearly every time she even looked at another guy. I do love how Jason was genuinely a good guy who handled the situation maturely and just wanted to help her. I still say Riven should’ve died instead because it would’ve been the perfect way to show that he truly loves and cares about her, but also fix his stupid obsession of beating Sky in a duel by him becoming the hero of the Earth fairies. Also it would’ve been interesting to how Musa took losing another person she deeply loved, not to mention her powers are rather deadly in an ice realm. In S6, I don’t get why Riven got reset to being an arrogant jerk again, and flat out kept ignoring her, like it took her snatching his stupid toy for him to finally acknowledge her presence. He just brushes her off to keep practicing. Then he runs away when she loses her voice instead of say making another song in an attempt to cheer her up. At least the breakup here was organic and mature with them finally acknowledging they can’t keep doing this. In S8, I really hate how Musa was portrayed to be a brat who was mad at Riven for not contacting her, despite S6 made it obvious he was going off the grid for a while. I would’ve loved to see them having a mature discussion of them agreeing to just be friends, no more trying to keep trying to get a toxic relationship to work. Like better to love each other as friends than trying to force something to work and later on hating each other. *Don’t really have anything for the Trix aside the juicy love triangle for Valtor and Lord Darkar. Tritannus was beyond annoying and I agree. Icy was like a love sick puppy, loyal only to him over Stormy and Darcy. What happened to my queen bee from 4Kids?! Also with Riven and Darcy, I actually ship them a lot more than Musa and Riven. Like I always felt Darcy truly did kinda have feelings at first for him, but upon receiving godlike powers, kicked him to the curb.

my ranking: 1. stella and brandon hands down! they had the potential to be stereotypical, shallow and pretty much terrible but the writers managed to give them amazing depth. my favorite parts of their story in the earlier seasons was when stella was prepared to risk her life (and she did risk it actually) to save brandon from downland in season 2 and when brandon supported and loved stella after she was turned into a monster by cassandra in season 3 2. tecna and timmy I think they're so underrated! tecna is not my favorite winx and timmy is not my favorite specialist (even though neither of them is my least favorite either, that would be bloom and riven) but I really really like them together. they fit amazingly, they help each other be more open about their feelings and I will NEVER forget that part in season 3 when he kept looking for her and for a way to save her when everyone had given up because they thought she was dead...that was honestly amazing to witness 3. aisha and nabu they had the most interesting and different beginning and they really fit well, their dynamic was nice and of course, me being me, I also enjoyed the angst of nabu's death even though it broke my heart 4. flora and helia they're pretty sweet and fit well with each other, what with both of them being very in touch with their emotions and their more sensitive side. I just think they were not that exciting or interesting, I find them a bit boring 5. darcy and riven idk they deserved each other and honestly I could see them working out pretty decently with their personalities. idk I do not feel strongly about them, I just put them here because of how strongly I dislike the couples that come after 6. bloom and sky booooooring omg so much unnecessary and repetitive drama 🙄 and the fact that their whole story started with a lie? yikes. also the fact that to me bloom is the most annoying of the winx and sky is the most boring of the specialists does not do them any favors, sorry. literally the only moment of theirs I like is when bloom saves sky's life (or brings him back to life? I can't remember) in season 2...or it could have been season 1, I can't remember that either lol that's how much I don't really care about them, sorry 7. musa and riven I don't even have a lot to say about them, he was a dick, their relationship was toxic and it just downright...sucked. the constant push and pull was annoying and irritating and frustrating and I don't even like musa all that much but she definitely deserved better (I watched up to season 4 only so idk about the rest)
Can’t agree more on Bloom and sky, literally season 1-5 got me so mad, like everything was about bloom and sky like.. and in season 5 Bloom was being a little too extra about the memory thing as if her relationship hasn’t been on the verge of crumble in the past seasons. and yes Bloom is THE MOST ANNOYING WINX CHARACTER..😭

I agree I’m not sure about the number you put Flora and Helia though as I found them quite cute but I definitely agree about Bloom and Sky they are like the most annoying couple on Winx Club ever especially Bloom if I’m being honest despite everything she did I still think Sky and Diaspro would’ve been a better couple. Well to be honest Sky isn’t that bad as he can be sensible sometimes like it’s just Bloom who’s the problem like I remember a few episodes when Sky had to go on missions with the rest of the specialists and the specialists told the Winx it would be too dangerous for them and all of the Winx agreed apart from Bloom and Sky had to try and convince her to stay and I actually remembered how many times in Season 5 or any Season has Sky had to try and calm Bloom down from her childish and annoying outbursts but I do agree with you and I wished Sky and Diaspro got together I’m just not sure about the number you put Flora and Helia
Techna and Timmy have a place in my heart. When I was younger I was never fond of the boys and the romance always cringed me out but they were by far the chillest couple. I just enjoyed how normal they were and loving without being too dramatic
I love Helia and Flora they are by far the cutes couple and when Flora tells Helia she loves him in season 2 is an amazing moment in the series as a whole.
Omg finally soneone who isn't into the musa and riven drama. As a kid I was so annoyed that 90% of their screentime together was fighting with each other or getting angry.... but on the other hand I was a total riven and darcy shipper before I even knew what shipping is, lol. Your two faves are also mine. 🙏 Stella and Brandon went through a lot alone in the first three seasons and it really shows how deep their bond was. Also Flora and Helia are literally so damn cute together. I can still relate to Flora's shyness in s2.

I feel that the writers wanted to make it sound like Helia was shy and unsure of his feelings and this is very different from his character. In the second season he was the one who was emotionally mature and sure of his feelings. it was the writers who wanted to forcefully make a drama and they should not fall in the ranking, because as a pair of artists they complement each other.

I like the idea of Darcy and Riven being villainous while loving to each other--of course, this exists independent of the universe where Riven overcomes his trauma, is no longer toxic, and is with Musa.
I gotta say, there are moments when I really love Sky and Bloom. Especially in the movie when he calls her "his sweet" or "his bloom" it's just rly lovely and so romantic.
I swear the Icy in S5 got a complete character change. In seasons 1 and 3 we see that even if the sisters fall in love, it's shown they would choose eachother over a guy (valtor or dark pheonix). In s5 even Stormy and Darcy call out Icy's 180, and then she picks that manchild over her sisters. Their relationship consists of titranous having a temper tantrum or lashing out, and Icy using this weird voice to coddle him or cheer for him. Literally turned her into a damsel in distress type, rather than the icy queen she is. Overall this has to be one of the worst couples for a) ruining the iconic villain trio and b) not even being a compelling couple
The top 2 deserved their spots. Brandon is the perfect partner, especially for Stella. He's exactly how you described: supportive and makes Stella a better person.
I'm just now realizing Stormy never had a love interest except for Valtor when the Trix were obsessed with him but other than that she never had anyone.
I remember when 4kids use to have a website where you could play games and for Valentines day, you could vote best couple from the winx club. I cheated by creating sock puppet accounts and submitting multiple votes for flora and helia. Of course they won!
The Trix kinda fell in love with Valtor, but I think Icy fall the hardest of them. She kinda was a little heartbroken and then she met Tritanus - so maybe their a "cute" couple or so 🤷🏼♀️😅 ... And maybe Darcy & Riven are a thing, but I always had hope for Riven to change and be the perfect guy for Musa ... 🤔

And yes, I also feel like it would’ve made more sense for them to get married instead of Daphne and Thoren because the two hardly know each other. Helia and Flora being always on top not only as a couple but as characters (and even childhood crushes) for the fandom is so real, I knew the´d be among the 3 tops spots and I agree. My other 2 personal favorites are Brandon/Stella and Aisha/Nabu, the whole arc of Brandon almost getting married with that mole queen(? was so good and I fell for their relationship even more, they truly support each other even in the most difficult situations. And Nabu/Aisha are THE power couple, they are both so cool, strong and have strong personalities.
Honestly Stella x Brandon, Timmy x Tecna & Flora x Helias relationships feel the most realistic in terms of their disagreements/arguements & how they came together as well with the latter 2. Flora & Helia are my favorite couple though. I was rooting for them during the entirety of season 2.
I do have a mix 😒feelings of Musa and Riven as couples which I feel they shouldn't in the first place. In season 1 4Kids version Riven was under Darcy's spell while dating her. He never tried to help Musa while she was chase by the other witches and half help the Trix with their scheme. Even though he's no longer their puppets after they stole Bloom's Dragon flames and realise his mistake but I don't think he deserves to be forgiven by his friends especially Musa if they ever find out that he has been helping the Trix's scheme to steal Bloom's Dragon flame. In fact I really don't understand how could Musa forgiven that jerk for abandoned her in the first place, not to mention Riven was the one who admits that he really like Musa which never made sense in the first place as they never have a relationship except for the Second Season. If I was the writer of Winx Club Season 1 I would change and improved the story for episode 24 and 25. After Griffin and her students, alongside Brandon, Riven, Knut and Stella escape from Cloud Tower and retreat to Alfea. Stella joins her friends as they asked her what happened to Bloom, Stella relates to them that they do not know about Sky and Bloom's whereabouts. Musa will then asked Stella what's Riven doing here in anger, so Musa walk up to Riven and slapped him in the face for showing his face again after what happened back in episode 9 as well as confront about him being a spy for the Trix. Stella explain to Musa that Riven helped them back at Cloud Tower and forgive him for his past mistake but Musa was not convince and leave. Later on after Flora is finally able to break the curse on Mirta and returns her to human-self, Riven knocked on the door asked if Musa is in there and wants to talk to her in Private. While those two where walking outside Alfea, Riven apology to Musa for what has happened back then and explain to Musa why he dislike girls in the first place before he sided with the Trix. Riven explain that his own mother abandon him when he was four years old and his father raise him alone. Since then he grow to dislike girls and become distrust towards them. Musa was shocked and started to understand why Riven behaviour that way towards other girls like her friends. But she still refuse to forgive Riven and telling him that's still no excuse for acting liked a jerks toward her and her friends or for siding with the Trix in the first place. Musa admit to Riven that she originally had a crush💖 on him though despite his tough guy image that she though he was a good person on the inside. But after everything has happened back in episode 9 and since Riven was in a relationship with Darcy that Musa gave up in💔 Riven after she see Riven's true colour. This hurt Riven so deeply as he was hoping to have a fresh start with Musa but she said that they're never in love with each other💔 in the first place and will never have a relationship. Musa walked away but told Riven that she needs more time to thinks through and to decided to whether she can finally have in her heart to forgive him and tell Riven that he needs to proved himself that he had changed as well if he really do have feelings💖 for her before Musa walked off. ( Things will happened in Season 2).
I have not kept up with Winx lore, so I was shocked to see the different animation styles!! This show (or at least the first 3 seasons) were a significant part of my childhood)
Flora is my favorite winx girl and I love Helia, they truly are indeed made for each other they're so wholesome❤ I remember feeling kinda bad for Flora in the first season where all the Winx girls they're standing with their boyfriend and she's just standing alone

Is it just me or does Musa just always get the short end of the stick? Doesn’t get to revive her mom, doesn’t get to be lead singer in the band, her love interest is absolute dog sh*t and she’s probably one of the characters with the least screen time of the main cast. On a side note, love Flora x Helia and Tecna x Timmy. Those relationships just feel somewhat more grounded and less unnecessarily drama infested. They felt more real like minus the magic I can see this playing out in real life. Stella x Brandon is a cute relationship too but Stella’s antics kind of grated on my nerves at times.
3:04 In the comics Icy had another love interest named Darko. And if I were to choose I'd rather have Tritannus as Icy's love interest than him. Here's why: Darko was a spoiled, entitled rich bad boy that she ended up crushing on so hard. But since he wouldn't date her she had to resort to blackmailing him since she had video footage of him roofying Bloom's drink with a love potion. And he didn't need that getting out since he was already in trouble for crashing his car and nearly killing Bloom since she was with him. (Moreover, there was a metaphor that Bloom could have overdosed on the love potion and die if she were to take it again.) They eventually broke up due to him having to move away from Magix for legal reasons involving his father if I remember correctly. And despite everything, the entire thing showed a softer side to Icy. And if they adapted this side of her in the cartoon early on then the Tricy ship wouldn't have felt like it came out of nowhere or that Icy was out of character.
Ok I have a lot of feelings abt musa and riven and I’m pretty sure they’re unpopular ones but to sum it up they were amazing but also pretty toxic but that’s more musa’s fault than it is riven’s Based on season 1 I feel like both of them have bad inferiority complexes that the show doesn’t actually address for example musa: says that riven would never like her because she’s a tomboy and tries to deny liking riven at all because she’s shy, her mother died when she was a child so she probably feels very lost with her own identity especially considering the fact that realistically she would have had to take care of her dad a lot based on what we’ve seen of his response to the situation. Additionally her dad doesn’t support her dreams of being a musician as she’s growing up and was constantly putting pressure on her to achieve things that she for some part probably didn’t even want to eg marrying a prince. It’s safe to say musa probably has trauma. Also in seasons 2 (I think) the Winx were split down into smaller groups with bloom and Stella actually going out in the field and faragonda telling the others to stay behind because their powers won’t be suited to that environment and musa immediately says something along the lines of “why can’t we go[…] so we’re not good enough then/ our powers aren’t strong enough for you then” Riven: He comes across as an over competitive cocky jerk for like 90% of season one and then it’s kind of tricked around in 2-4 and then comes back in full force for no apparent reason in season 6. But honestly I think this is overcompensating. I think he’s over competitive because he feels like he isn’t good enough since that kind of response to any challenge as ‘I need to be the hero, I need to be the better than everyone else, I’m better than you’ it seems more like he’s forcing himself to be way too much when actually he’s insecure and ends up lashing out as a result. I feel like he has some trauma but we literally know nothing about his family life so I have nothing to back that up as far as I’m aware. Along with that every time he ‘loses’ he reacts very volatile-y most likely taking out his own self dislike on those around home which isn’t good but it’s probably not actually out of nowhere like how it seems from the show. What really makes me like riven’s character is the growth he has whilst he’s in musa until season 6. You see especially in seasons 2-3 he’s trying his best to make musa happy and more often than not musa is rejecting everything he tries to do for her because she just takes everything the wrong way a lot of the time e.g. he’s trying to teach musa how to use HIS hoverbike, musa who has never used one before is struggling and blames it on the bike, him - who is used to the bike- doesn’t think there’s a problem, she gets mad and finds out the engine is actually super trash and he apologises but she’s still mad at him because “he’s a jerk” and “he only cares about himself”. Ik this example is trivial but stuff like that happens throughout the series - musa is the one who gets jealous a lot even though there’s no reason to be and when he gets jealous of that guy Jason musa lashes out at him when we find out that he had every right to be jealous because she actually was interested in him. During seasons 2-4 all of their drama feels quite forced with it usually being that riven has done something “wrong” when actually it’s more of a misunderstanding or miscommunication with riven trying his best for musa and musa not really accepting or allowing him to. Additionally we can see that riven is generally a much better person whilst he’s with musa not just with how he’s around her but also how he is with the specialists because we see that insanely competitive side fade away a bit and he seems less self absorbed and caring more about the team. It’s safe to say though that he isn’t very in touch with his emotions even though deep down he’s probably very emotional like musa is and he cares so much about musa that he’s willing to put in so much effort for her that tbh I haven’t seen her put in a lot of effort for him in the show but idk. I feel like this is also shown when they get back together in season 8 and musa really makes him work for it and more than anything he’s willing to put in that effort again for her. Plus I’m pretty sure the only other person he’s made an effort for is musa and the only person he’s really respectful, polite and kind to is musa’s dad even though we don’t really see them interact much it just shows how much he cares about musa. I know it takes more than caring about a person for a relationship to work and going into a relationship where both of you have similar inferiority complexes can either work really well or go really badly and I think that time they spent apart before getting back together was healthy for both of them. I’d also like to point out that for all the winx’s boyfriends the boys’ personalities are very much mirrors of their girlfriends’ e.g. Brandon and Stella - the pretty popular ones, flora and helia - the quiet shy emotional ones, Tecna and Timmy - the nerdy smart ones to put it in a very simplified way. I think this also applies to musa and riven and what we know about musa’s personality is that she’s had a really rough life and has a lot of inner turmoil that she doesn’t express and I find it very likely that riven has the same Idk if I explained my feelings on this properly but yeah Ty for coming to my ted talk

I have a thing for nature fairies like I love Stella's powers and her fashion interests. Blooms fire powers like fire is so me. Like all do gorgeous and I like some of the guys. But I love flora and her boyfriend helia the best both so amazing the best couple. Flora a latina , her tan skin brown hair and pink green outfits love her outfits her personality her voice. Green my favorite color. Helia such a sweetheart.
I'm going to be honest about this but I still wished Aisha choose Roy as her offical boyfriend instead of Nex because back in Season 5 Aisha and Roy were starting to bond with each other in episode 24 and in episode 25 Aisha dream of dancing with Roy meaning that I though she and Roy were officially couple at the end of Season 5. But in Season 6 Roy has been ignored by Aisha and payed to much attention to Nex this entire series, I can't believe the other Winx Club and Specialist haven't notice this situation because if they have then they would have done something about this. What bothered me even more that this entire Winx Club Season 6 is completely a mess and waste of episodes as this was not resolved this problem. What even more strange is that at end of episode 24 Roy hasn't appear in episodes 25 and 26 finale of Season 6 and never been seen again which doesn't make sense at all. If I was the writer for Season 6 I would liked to fix the ending of Season 6 finale as Roy now knows that Aisha have feelings for Nex and decided to ending his rival by annoucing to everyone at Thorne and Daphne's wedding that he's leaving the group to return to Andros. That would make a better exit for Roy's final appearence in the series. I don't know why Aisha would fall for Nex despite that he's a hothead and arrogant back in Season 6 but they seem to clicked well together and began there relationship at the end of the Season 6 and continued in Season 7 and Season 8. So if Aisha is happy with Nex then I will have to accept this.
My theory why Daphne and Hören got married because they are royals. Well before Daphne came alive, Bloom was the only Descendant, who have claimed the throne after the passing of her parents(to be honest when I look at them, well they look like in their 30s,but they were in stone so who the f does know how old they are) so that means that Bloom would be the queen of Domino (or if she married Sky, that would mean that she is the Queen of Eraklyon, but I think the kingdoms would come together because sky is an only child too) but after Daphne comes back alive she is the Crown prince's or because she is the older one and that means that she is the number one in the Succession instead of bloom. And like it is normal in the royal world,she had to marry someone anyway because she needs to make sure that the kingdom of Domino has a Crown prince/princess.And Thoren is if I'm not wrong a royal too and that means that the royal blood will kept in the bloodline. I our world, especially in the past it was normal that a royal married another royal because if the prince/princess would marry a commoner the royal bloodline would become let's call it dirty.And this would make sense actually if whe left out the aspect that Daphne and Thoren love each other. My favorite Winx girl has always been Flora, I genuinely loved her a lot, and seeing her with no romantic pairing wasn't even an issue to me, idk I felt like she was great by herself already. But man, when I first saw Helia... it wad love at first sight again, and I just wanted them to be together no matter what. Curiously, I believe both represent the types of men and women that I tend to fall for lmao so I guess they're part of my bi awakening journey. I loved that they were wholesome and without all of that drama. At the time I didn't even understand why Musa and Riven were together anyways.

Agreed! I just loved how comfortable these two were together. Also, I am glad their relationship was not solely built on ridiculous teen drama. Of course couples will have their differences and it's important to show that but these two just fit well together and are able to work past it. They really are wholesome and I welcome such a healthy relationship.

What I really love about Flora and Helia is the fact that we get to see the period before they start dating unfold, it doesn't feel like they are paired together by "default". You should have mention the Time he was the only one who tried all the things he could to save Tecna when everybody tought she was dead And gave up on her(Even the Winx gave up!) ! Some people would feel like they are betraying the one they loved and lost. But, moving on is also a part of life. You would only betray them, if you forgot them forever, but they will live in you and would wish for your happiness.
It is for example, what lead to most of the love triangle drama in Inuyasha. Kikyo died after basically putting him in a coma, then few... months (?) after he woke up, she is brought back to life, but Inuyasha was also starting to move on, though it was hard... that what lead to him being torn between Kikyo and Kagome... Plus, neither of the two women he loved belonged with him. One is dead, the other is from another Era...
i kinda disagree, im sick of always seeing the black girl not having a romantic partner or something tragic happening to them while everyone else can be happy so even though its cliche, it's nice to see that there are always more fish in the sea for her. Well that is just not true. Just because Sky was in engaged with Diaspro when they met it dosen't meen their relationship is based on a lie. As a matter of fact Sky and Bloom started dateing AFTER the end of season 1, yes they did like eachother before the Diaspro incident but Sky didn't made any move on Bloom, they were just good friends. And Sky was never in love with Diaspro any way.

Also rushing in to things is bloom bigest character's flaw, she did not end up in trouble for it that time but especialy in season 3 it did cause her a lot of problems. Also yeh Sky and Bloom become very annoying after season 4
My favourites:
1) Aisha and Nabu: they will always be superior to me, their love story was so interesting from the very beginning and was just so pure and beautiful. The scene where Nabu passes, will always make me cry. I think they truly loved each other and were made for each other.
2) Tecna and Timmy: sure, they were a bit like an old-married couple but to me that just proves that they have a very healthy and stable relationship. Their story is also super interesting, especially in season 3 when Tecna is sucked up into the Omega Dimension and Timmy dedicates his entire life to trying to get her back even when everyone else loses hope.
3) Flore and Helia: they are just so sweet together and they're both very similar types of people without being identical characters.

I think Darcy and Rivens personalities actually fit together. Okay hear me out. Darcy is clever and quiet. She does the work done behind the shadows being manipulative rather than being aggressive. On the other hand Riven is not the smartest but likes to show himself. He thinks he is better than others. In short I would love to see them as a couple villain after season 1. Riven still going to red fountian for his training but being evil. (Turning a good character into bad could be add variety to the show) With Darcy making the plans using dark magic and Riven helping her in physical strength way. (Though I love trix as triplets) (Also Musa deserves a better partner)

I honestly would have loved to see Aisha be and independent person after season 4. Don't get me wrong, i think that aisha and nabu were cute together, but it would have been a great message to kids that you can be a strong person without an SO. Maybe it's because i'm aro and it would have been cool to see a character that doesn't have a love interest/SO and can still be an awesome character. Her relationship with roy and nex just seemed really forced and the weird love triangle just felt like a poor attempt by the writers to make Aisha's story in the later seasons more interesting.

Musa and Riven became very toxic in the later seasons but it was one of the more entertaining relationships to watch for y'know. Bloom and Sky always felt so boring to me as a kid, I always got so excited whenever Musa and Riven moments were on screen and then they broke up 🙂

Stella and Brandon omg I'm obsessed with this couple. They could have a series of their own.
1. Aisha and Nabu - they really seemed kind of perfect, and they had an interesting beginning.
2. Stella and Brandon - they seems like the most real, balanced and believable couple, they're not afraid to call each other for their mistakes and when they have issues they try to work on them. Also both of these characters are bit stereotype so see them together and see there's much more into them is great.
3. Tecna and Timmy - they really are like old married couple, they're cute together. Both are geeky introverets who struggle to show their emotions and together they learn how.
4. Flora and Helia - they're good fit for each other, both are more connected to their sensitive sides. There were few unnecessary conflicts but they're cute and work together very well i'd say.
5. Bloom and Sky - they got annoying very quickly, their relationship started as a lie and then a lot stupid stuff happened. After season 4 both characters got annoying and their relationship even more annoying.
6. Daphne and Thoren - they're sweet together but absolutely rushed, i enjoy them together but that wedding was stupid.
7. Aisha and Nex - they have similar personalities but Nex is jerk only little bit less than Riven. IDK i'm not a fan of this relationship.
8. Icy and Tritannus - they both awful people so it makes sense why they together and during season it was showed they both cared about each other but it was all so rushed and out of character for both that i can't put it any higher.
9. Aisha and Roy - there was never mentioned if they a real couple and then love triangle with Nex. I think they would be great couple but again we don't know if they were really together.
10. Musa and Riven - their relationship was absolutely toxic, they have some really amazing moments together but their relationship is really toxic and they should broke up already in season 4. Musa deserved better.
11. Riven and Darcy - Were they a real couple? Did Darcy like him or was she only using him? Was Riven only under her spell or really liked her? You can't even tell if they're real couple.

Musa and Riven will always be my favorite couple, I know the share a toxic behavior and maybe not-so lovey dovey personalities, but then I remember that they are the most realistic (as realistic you can be in a kids series about fairies) in terms of first relationships, first love even. They technically grew up together and with their relationship, they were not and are not perfect and ultimately could not achieve the "perfect couple" with no toxicity like Flora & Helia but they tried, they did do something to change the actions that were keeping them apart, they went through a lot of nasty thing together and supported each other in the end, accepting that they were not always right because both Musa and Riven share this personality trait of "pride" so yeah, toxic couple, kind of a childhood couple, I love them all, but Musa & Riven are just something else for me xD

1. Flora and Helia- I really love how they’re so perfect for each other, both are more sensitive and pacifistic of their groups, and are both too shy to admit their feelings for the other. I really love how Chatta kept at it in Flora finally going for it, especially in the 4Kids version when she’s too worried about saving the Flower (Tree) of Life, Helia tells her heart has a lot of power, which is what allows her to break through her insecurities, letting her grow as a fairy. But also the Rai version of him indirectly saying “I love myself too” is hilarious 😆 Also 4Kids wedding joke was so hilarious, Flora is already getting married in her head and accidentally got the spell in class wrong by saying experdelohelia instead of helion, which made it fit better why her friends were laughing so hard, they could tell what she was thinking of. But yes I do appreciate the Krystal drama and S6, showing even a perfect couple can have misunderstandings. Also I can’t help but adore the dance in S5, if only Helia’s ponytail was in it 😫
2. Stella and Brandon- I agree, they weren’t my favorite at first, but I really love Brandon as a character. He genuinely loves Stella and isn’t dating her because she’s a princess, and isn’t afraid to be honest with her when she’s taking things too far. I also really loved the Mirror of Truth story, with Stella convinced he and others only liked her beauty, but he truly loves her, warts and all, even admitting the spell wore off. Mitzi drama was annoying though
3. Leila and Nabu- OMG, both are actually probably the most mature couple. I really love how she didn’t need a boyfriend, so she actually hated him at first, but eventually when she got to know him realized how similar they are. I do love he and Helia are the only two guys that don’t get insanely jealous over Andy and his friends, showing their maturity in comparison to the rest. I kinda get Pocahontas and John Smith vibes from them as unfortunately they were forced to sacrifice their happiness for the greater good of Earth and its fairies. I was so shocked and mad watching Nabu die. 🤬 Why couldn’t it have been Riven instead?!
4. Bloom and Sky- overrated. The bulk of their relationship is literally focused on Diaspro being turned into an immature jealous brat who refuses to let go of Sky. If Bloom wasn’t so immature and jealous of this everytime and simply learned to ignore Diaspro’s antics, it’d be a lot better. Something else that bugs me is Sky wouldn’t actually say no to Diaspro. Like it gives me that icky feeling of “Let’s invite her to the wedding because she’s still an old friend of mine” YOU DON’T INVITE AN EX TO A WEDDING, that is a recipe for disaster. Like I hate how Bloom got mad at him in S8, when it was Diaspro who completely lied to him to prevent him from even contacting her to say he was on an important mission. Used to love them, but it got tainted with this sickening and overused love triangle. Also I don’t like how their relationship was based on a lie, at least in 4Kids it does show a couple of times Bloom is worried about if he still likes Diaspro or not in S2
5. Tecna and Timmy- they’re an adorkable couple! My only problem is Timmy is basically the male version of her, and I feel a majority of their relationship is based on forcing them to put their phones away and just have a good time. The date in S5 felt more like a first date thing than talking to each other in the flesh. I still love Timmy’s shyness to impress her, and in S2 Tecna learns to accept him as he really is instead of getting frustrated he’s too nervous to ask her out and stop treating her like a computer, but treat her like a girl.
6. Roy and Leila- I really do like them as a couple, but I feel there’s not really any personality to him aside being a good guy who can use magic too. If it was more fleshed out, who knows.
7. Daphne and Thoren- Yes, I cannot stand how she got to be alive again, but not Musa’s mom or Nabu. I kinda like how Daphne has a more insecure side despite being a powerful fairy. I feel she’d be more like Elsa, given her stark blonde hair and Bloom having red hair like Anna lol. But no, she only spent like half a season with this rando and agrees to marry him, despite he’s never even met Oritel and Miriam. Nor does it explain is he even a royal from Erakleon or not. Also I thought Sky and Bloom were supposed to be the future king and queen of Sparx (Domino) and Erakleon.
8. Leila and Nex- I don’t get why her personality went from sweet and a little shy to being kinda bossy and headstrong in later seasons. I always felt he was a jerk a lot of times, especially to Roy in an attempt to make him look like an idiot in front of her, and he never actually apologizes for being a dick either. Worse is in S7 when Riven left, he kinda became his replacement for the immature boyfriend. At least in S8 he was really supportive when she was freaking out over a major speech.
9. Musa and Riven- It pains me so much to put my favorite fairy in last. I always loved her as a kid, but always hated Riven. They have very poor communication, which further adds to their relationship drama. Like in S3 when she contemplated about breaking up, its Helia who tells Riven instead of her. And in the motorcycle scene, she even snapped at him for arguing with her about his bike malfunctioning. In S4, I do love how they finally broke up, with him blowing up nearly every time she even looked at another guy. I do love how Jason was genuinely a good guy who handled the situation maturely and just wanted to help her. I still say Riven should’ve died instead because it would’ve been the perfect way to show that he truly loves and cares about her, but also fix his stupid obsession of beating Sky in a duel by him becoming the hero of the Earth fairies. Also it would’ve been interesting to how Musa took losing another person she deeply loved, not to mention her powers are rather deadly in an ice realm. In S6, I don’t get why Riven got reset to being an arrogant jerk again, and flat out kept ignoring her, like it took her snatching his stupid toy for him to finally acknowledge her presence. He just brushes her off to keep practicing. Then he runs away when she loses her voice instead of say making another song in an attempt to cheer her up. At least the breakup here was organic and mature with them finally acknowledging they can’t keep doing this. In S8, I really hate how Musa was portrayed to be a brat who was mad at Riven for not contacting her, despite S6 made it obvious he was going off the grid for a while. I would’ve loved to see them having a mature discussion of them agreeing to just be friends, no more trying to keep trying to get a toxic relationship to work. Like better to love each other as friends than trying to force something to work and later on hating each other.
*Don’t really have anything for the Trix aside the juicy love triangle for Valtor and Lord Darkar. Tritannus was beyond annoying and I agree. Icy was like a love sick puppy, loyal only to him over Stormy and Darcy. What happened to my queen bee from 4Kids?! Also with Riven and Darcy, I actually ship them a lot more than Musa and Riven. Like I always felt Darcy truly did kinda have feelings at first for him, but upon receiving godlike powers, kicked him to the curb.

they had the potential to be stereotypical, shallow and pretty much terrible but the writers managed to give them amazing depth. my favorite parts of their story in the earlier seasons was when stella was prepared to risk her life (and she did risk it actually) to save brandon from downland in season 2 and when brandon supported and loved stella after she was turned into a monster by cassandra in season 3
2. tecna and timmy
I think they're so underrated! tecna is not my favorite winx and timmy is not my favorite specialist (even though neither of them is my least favorite either, that would be bloom and riven) but I really really like them together. they fit amazingly, they help each other be more open about their feelings and I will NEVER forget that part in season 3 when he kept looking for her and for a way to save her when everyone had given up because they thought she was dead...that was honestly amazing to witness
3. aisha and nabu
they had the most interesting and different beginning and they really fit well, their dynamic was nice and of course, me being me, I also enjoyed the angst of nabu's death even though it broke my heart
4. flora and helia
they're pretty sweet and fit well with each other, what with both of them being very in touch with their emotions and their more sensitive side. I just think they were not that exciting or interesting, I find them a bit boring

idk they deserved each other and honestly I could see them working out pretty decently with their personalities. idk I do not feel strongly about them, I just put them here because of how strongly I dislike the couples that come after

Omg finally soneone who isn't into the musa and riven drama. As a kid I was so annoyed that 90% of their screentime together was fighting with each other or getting angry.... but on the other hand I was a total riven and darcy shipper before I even knew what shipping is, lol. Your two faves are also mine. 🙏 Stella and Brandon went through a lot alone in the first three seasons and it really shows how deep their bond was. Also Flora and Helia are literally so damn cute together. I can still relate to Flora's shyness in s2.
I would definitely put Flora & Helia down. the reason for *me* is in season 5 ep 3 when he introduced Flora to Crystal and said “ this is my friend Flora” like really?? all this time and she’s just your friend 🥴 he ANNOYED ME the first time watching it 😭😭.. I feel that the writers wanted to make it sound like Helia was shy and unsure of his feelings and this is very different from his character. In the second season he was the one who was emotionally mature and sure of his feelings. it was the writers who wanted to forcefully make a drama and they should not fall in the ranking, because as a pair of artists they complement each other.

I like the idea of Darcy and Riven being villainous while loving to each other--of course, this exists independent of the universe where Riven overcomes his trauma, is no longer toxic, and is with Musa.
I gotta say, there are moments when I really love Sky and Bloom. Especially in the movie when he calls her "his sweet" or "his bloom" it's just rly lovely and so romantic.

I swear the Icy in S5 got a complete character change. In seasons 1 and 3 we see that even if the sisters fall in love, it's shown they would choose eachother over a guy (valtor or dark pheonix). In s5 even Stormy and Darcy call out Icy's 180, and then she picks that manchild over her sisters.
Their relationship consists of titranous having a temper tantrum or lashing out, and Icy using this weird voice to coddle him or cheer for him. Literally turned her into a damsel in distress type, rather than the icy queen she is.
Overall this has to be one of the worst couples for a) ruining the iconic villain trio and b) not even being a compelling couple

The Trix kinda fell in love with Valtor, but I think Icy fall the hardest of them. She kinda was a little heartbroken and then she met Tritanus - so maybe their a "cute" couple or so 🤷🏼♀️😅 ... And maybe Darcy & Riven are a thing, but I always had hope for Riven to change and be the perfect guy for Musa ... 🤔

And yes, I also feel like it would’ve made more sense for them to get married instead of Daphne and Thoren because the two hardly know each other. On the other hand, Bloom and Sky are a good couple in my eyes even though it started on a lie, they became a really cute couple over time.

Helia and Flora being always on top not only as a couple but as characters (and even childhood crushes) for the fandom is so real, I knew the´d be among the 3 tops spots and I agree.
My other 2 personal favorites are Brandon/Stella and Aisha/Nabu, the whole arc of Brandon almost getting married with that mole queen(? was so good and I fell for their relationship even more, they truly support each other even in the most difficult situations.
And Nabu/Aisha are THE power couple, they are both so cool, strong and have strong personalities.
I cannot believe that Tecna and Timmy are below Aisha and Roy. That’s kinda crazy.

I do have a mix 😒feelings of Musa and Riven as couples which I feel they shouldn't in the first place. In season 1 4Kids version Riven was under Darcy's spell while dating her. He never tried to help Musa while she was chase by the other witches and half help the Trix with their scheme.
Even though he's no longer their puppets after they stole Bloom's Dragon flames and realise his mistake but I don't think he deserves to be forgiven by his friends especially Musa if they ever find out that he has been helping the Trix's scheme to steal Bloom's Dragon flame. In fact I really don't understand how could Musa forgiven that jerk for abandoned her in the first place, not to mention Riven was the one who admits that he really like Musa which never made sense in the first place as they never have a relationship except for the Second Season.
If I was the writer of Winx Club Season 1 I would change and improved the story for episode 24 and 25.
After Griffin and her students, alongside Brandon, Riven, Knut and Stella escape from Cloud Tower and retreat to Alfea. Stella joins her friends as they asked her what happened to Bloom, Stella relates to them that they do not know about Sky and Bloom's whereabouts.
Musa will then asked Stella what's Riven doing here in anger, so Musa walk up to Riven and slapped him in the face for showing his face again after what happened back in episode 9 as well as confront about him being a spy for the Trix. Stella explain to Musa that Riven helped them back at Cloud Tower and forgive him for his past mistake but Musa was not convince and leave.
Later on after Flora is finally able to break the curse on Mirta and returns her to human-self, Riven knocked on the door asked if Musa is in there and wants to talk to her in Private. While those two where walking outside Alfea, Riven apology to Musa for what has happened back then and explain to Musa why he dislike girls in the first place before he sided with the Trix. Riven explain that his own mother abandon him when he was four years old and his father raise him alone. Since then he grow to dislike girls and become distrust towards them.
Musa was shocked and started to understand why Riven behaviour that way towards other girls like her friends. But she still refuse to forgive Riven and telling him that's still no excuse for acting liked a jerks toward her and her friends or for siding with the Trix in the first place. Musa admit to Riven that she originally had a crush💖 on him though despite his tough guy image that she though he was a good person on the inside.
But after everything has happened back in episode 9 and since Riven was in a relationship with Darcy that Musa gave up in💔 Riven after she see Riven's true colour. This hurt Riven so deeply as he was hoping to have a fresh start with Musa but she said that they're never in love with each other💔 in the first place and will never have a relationship. Musa walked away but told Riven that she needs more time to thinks through and to decided to whether she can finally have in her heart to forgive him and tell Riven that he needs to proved himself that he had changed as well if he really do have feelings💖 for her before Musa walked off. ( Things will happened in Season 2).

I have not kept up with Winx lore, so I was shocked to see the different animation styles!! This show (or at least the first 3 seasons) were a significant part of my childhood)

Doesn’t get to revive her mom, doesn’t get to be lead singer in the band, her love interest is absolute dog sh*t and she’s probably one of the characters with the least screen time of the main cast.
On a side note, love Flora x Helia and Tecna x Timmy. Those relationships just feel somewhat more grounded and less unnecessarily drama infested. They felt more real like minus the magic I can see this playing out in real life. Stella x Brandon is a cute relationship too but Stella’s antics kind of grated on my nerves at times.
3:04 In the comics Icy had another love interest named Darko. And if I were to choose I'd rather have Tritannus as Icy's love interest than him. Here's why:
Darko was a spoiled, entitled rich bad boy that she ended up crushing on so hard. But since he wouldn't date her she had to resort to blackmailing him since she had video footage of him roofying Bloom's drink with a love potion.
And he didn't need that getting out since he was already in trouble for crashing his car and nearly killing Bloom since she was with him. (Moreover, there was a metaphor that Bloom could have overdosed on the love potion and die if she were to take it again.)
They eventually broke up due to him having to move away from Magix for legal reasons involving his father if I remember correctly.
And despite everything, the entire thing showed a softer side to Icy. And if they adapted this side of her in the cartoon early on then the Tricy ship wouldn't have felt like it came out of nowhere or that Icy was out of character.

Ok I have a lot of feelings abt musa and riven and I’m pretty sure they’re unpopular ones but to sum it up they were amazing but also pretty toxic but that’s more musa’s fault than it is riven’s
Based on season 1 I feel like both of them have bad inferiority complexes that the show doesn’t actually address for example
musa: says that riven would never like her because she’s a tomboy and tries to deny liking riven at all because she’s shy, her mother died when she was a child so she probably feels very lost with her own identity especially considering the fact that realistically she would have had to take care of her dad a lot based on what we’ve seen of his response to the situation. Additionally her dad doesn’t support her dreams of being a musician as she’s growing up and was constantly putting pressure on her to achieve things that she for some part probably didn’t even want to eg marrying a prince. It’s safe to say musa probably has trauma. Also in seasons 2 (I think) the Winx were split down into smaller groups with bloom and Stella actually going out in the field and faragonda telling the others to stay behind because their powers won’t be suited to that environment and musa immediately says something along the lines of “why can’t we go[…] so we’re not good enough then/ our powers aren’t strong enough for you then”
Riven: He comes across as an over competitive cocky jerk for like 90% of season one and then it’s kind of tricked around in 2-4 and then comes back in full force for no apparent reason in season 6. But honestly I think this is overcompensating. I think he’s over competitive because he feels like he isn’t good enough since that kind of response to any challenge as ‘I need to be the hero, I need to be the better than everyone else, I’m better than you’ it seems more like he’s forcing himself to be way too much when actually he’s insecure and ends up lashing out as a result. I feel like he has some trauma but we literally know nothing about his family life so I have nothing to back that up as far as I’m aware. Along with that every time he ‘loses’ he reacts very volatile-y most likely taking out his own self dislike on those around home which isn’t good but it’s probably not actually out of nowhere like how it seems from the show.
What really makes me like riven’s character is the growth he has whilst he’s in musa until season 6. You see especially in seasons 2-3 he’s trying his best to make musa happy and more often than not musa is rejecting everything he tries to do for her because she just takes everything the wrong way a lot of the time e.g. he’s trying to teach musa how to use HIS hoverbike, musa who has never used one before is struggling and blames it on the bike, him - who is used to the bike- doesn’t think there’s a problem, she gets mad and finds out the engine is actually super trash and he apologises but she’s still mad at him because “he’s a jerk” and “he only cares about himself”. Ik this example is trivial but stuff like that happens throughout the series - musa is the one who gets jealous a lot even though there’s no reason to be and when he gets jealous of that guy Jason musa lashes out at him when we find out that he had every right to be jealous because she actually was interested in him. During seasons 2-4 all of their drama feels quite forced with it usually being that riven has done something “wrong” when actually it’s more of a misunderstanding or miscommunication with riven trying his best for musa and musa not really accepting or allowing him to. Additionally we can see that riven is generally a much better person whilst he’s with musa not just with how he’s around her but also how he is with the specialists because we see that insanely competitive side fade away a bit and he seems less self absorbed and caring more about the team. It’s safe to say though that he isn’t very in touch with his emotions even though deep down he’s probably very emotional like musa is and he cares so much about musa that he’s willing to put in so much effort for her that tbh I haven’t seen her put in a lot of effort for him in the show but idk.
I feel like this is also shown when they get back together in season 8 and musa really makes him work for it and more than anything he’s willing to put in that effort again for her.
Plus I’m pretty sure the only other person he’s made an effort for is musa and the only person he’s really respectful, polite and kind to is musa’s dad even though we don’t really see them interact much it just shows how much he cares about musa.
I know it takes more than caring about a person for a relationship to work and going into a relationship where both of you have similar inferiority complexes can either work really well or go really badly and I think that time they spent apart before getting back together was healthy for both of them.
I’d also like to point out that for all the winx’s boyfriends the boys’ personalities are very much mirrors of their girlfriends’ e.g. Brandon and Stella - the pretty popular ones, flora and helia - the quiet shy emotional ones, Tecna and Timmy - the nerdy smart ones to put it in a very simplified way. I think this also applies to musa and riven and what we know about musa’s personality is that she’s had a really rough life and has a lot of inner turmoil that she doesn’t express and I find it very likely that riven has the same

I'm going to be honest about this but I still wished Aisha choose Roy as her offical boyfriend instead of Nex because back in Season 5 Aisha and Roy were starting to bond with each other in episode 24 and in episode 25 Aisha dream of dancing with Roy meaning that I though she and Roy were officially couple at the end of Season 5.
But in Season 6 Roy has been ignored by Aisha and payed to much attention to Nex this entire series, I can't believe the other Winx Club and Specialist haven't notice this situation because if they have then they would have done something about this. What bothered me even more that this entire Winx Club Season 6 is completely a mess and waste of episodes as this was not resolved this problem. What even more strange is that at end of episode 24 Roy hasn't appear in episodes 25 and 26 finale of Season 6 and never been seen again which doesn't make sense at all.
If I was the writer for Season 6 I would liked to fix the ending of Season 6 finale as Roy now knows that Aisha have feelings for Nex and decided to ending his rival by annoucing to everyone at Thorne and Daphne's wedding that he's leaving the group to return to Andros. That would make a better exit for Roy's final appearence in the series. I don't know why Aisha would fall for Nex despite that he's a hothead and arrogant back in Season 6 but they seem to clicked well together and began there relationship at the end of the Season 6 and continued in Season 7 and Season 8. So if Aisha is happy with Nex then I will have to accept this.

My theory why Daphne and Hören got married because they are royals. Well before Daphne came alive, Bloom was the only Descendant, who have claimed the throne after the passing of her parents(to be honest when I look at them, well they look like in their 30s,but they were in stone so who the f does know how old they are) so that means that Bloom would be the queen of Domino (or if she married Sky, that would mean that she is the Queen of Eraklyon, but I think the kingdoms would come together because sky is an only child too) but after Daphne comes back alive she is the Crown prince's or because she is the older one and that means that she is the number one in the Succession instead of bloom. And like it is normal in the royal world,she had to marry someone anyway because she needs to make sure that the kingdom of Domino has a Crown prince/princess.And Thoren is if I'm not wrong a royal too and that means that the royal blood will kept in the bloodline. I our world, especially in the past it was normal that a royal married another royal because if the prince/princess would marry a commoner the royal bloodline would become let's call it dirty.And this would make sense actually if whe left out the aspect that Daphne and Thoren love each other.
