What's up GSP. So this is what you do away from the octagon. I use a lot of these techniques but differently. I dodge the first punch then I clinch up. Then I dodge the first punch in the clinch. Then I throw punches. Sometimes you can catch the guy with a flurry of punches. If that is not the case, I do counter like you said. I probably win 95% of my fights. The only time I lose is when I get caught with a lucky 1 punch k.o. or, when I miss and the other guy takes me down with a grapple move.
I will have you know you do double tap triangle or Y but you have to do it at the right time or you get a unsportsmanlike conduct and will be sent to the box

After the whistle nothing happens and I have been trying for 8 hours. I am a center forward enforcer if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated. I play on PS4.
Sometimes it'll work if you're lining up for a faceoff and then press triangle twice. You could just as easily, shoot the puck after offsides call that's probably the quickest way... Anyway hope this helps.
Can’t you just hold RT the whole time and you’ll always dodge? It seems to work for me. Then again I lose all my fights against AI lol. Also another video said in order to hold the enemy down (jersey him, sorta) you dodge and then press LT not right stick down, so you dodge and push right stick down not LT or L2?
Idk how but I was playing against my dad he punched my guy once and barely took any of my health bar away and the second punch took away like the whole health bar and knocked my guy out
I play as the Detroit Red Wings. I dress fighters on purpose (MacIlrath, Ericsson, Smith, Abdelkader) but the only guys that ever fight are non fighters like Mike Green, Val Filppula and Nielsen. And even with those idiots fighting I’m lucky if I can get the computer to fight me once every 3 or 4 games. I will go after other teams fighters with my good fighters but it just results in an interference penalty. The fighting in NHL 20 is a fn joke.

Press y or triangle before the puck is dropped during a face off
Get a charging call that badly injures a player... if the hit is big enough, someone will skate to you and start a fight

Just start lining people up and doing hits eventually they will just end up fighting you lol. Especially if you hit the goalie after a save
