Since Robin Williams died, I have watched SO MANY of his films, and NOW that I’m an adult I can appreciate his vocal talents with his impressive impressions! I’ve always LOVED Aladdin, BUT I was 2 when it came out & 3 or 4 when I saw it for the first time. Re watching it as an adult, who had ALWAYS LOVED Robin Williams, TRULY is a TREAT! 👍🏼😁👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I bought the hundred-dollar boxed set of his many appearances and also _have_ to watch, "The Birdcage," several times a year. He does his famous instructional "Dance" routine and manages to be very real and serious as the longtime partner in a gay relationship in a film with intelligent, funny dialog that's probably full of his ad libs. I really miss him, too. Stay safe.
Robin Williams he is the best and comedy actor ever I like their expressions in the movies and I like when he giving voice to Genie in Aladdin Disney😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😂😂😂😂😂😂
1951-2014 R.I.P. rest and peace Robin Williams you are the coolest and the best comedy actor ever in the history of Hollywood and in theaters 😭😭😭😭😭😭😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How many people can say they had a Disney character created FOR them. No one else could have played the Genie like Robin Williams and no one ever will. What a legend.
There wouldn't have been a Robin Williams Genie if "Batty Koda" hadn't been created FOR him. He had turned down voice actor roles prior to Ferngully. Batty was created specifically for him. When he finally agreed to do it, his love for cartoon voice overs were created.
I like Robin Williams giving the voice to Genie when we can all the different faces of Celebrities like Rodney Dangerfield,Arnold Schwarzenegger,Jack Nicholson other coolest faces of celebrities
He had an agreement with Disney that they would NOT use his character as a marketing gimmick, but they did. So there was some lawsuit about that and bad blood. I heard they had something like 8 hours of Robin doing voices
My personal favorite is your #10, Golf and the Scottish. I still watch it when I need a good laugh and it seems to get better every time. I so miss Robin Williams. I am so very grateful, he lived during my time. Those that came and went before never had the priveledge of marvelling at his talent and genious in real time and those who come after his passing will only get to see archives, if they are introduced to him at all. Yup, I have been one of the lucky ones.
There will never be another Robin Williams. Everything he did was so good and unique. He was a huge part of my life and it is sad he is still gone even after like 6+ years. RIP :(
He was comedy personified, and i completely adored him from mork and mindy all the way through to hook, flubber, toys, mrs doubtfire, the birdcage,in dreams to come, bicentennial man,all his flims,i idolised him and i loved him soooo much
OMG, I was there in 1983! My stomach muscles hurt for days after seeing him live! I still can't believe he is gone...😭 the funniest man that ever lived.
The ending did cause tension. Where Miranda turns up after a taping and she comes off as cold. Williams faught for that ending. The studio wanted a warmer ending. Daniel hiller lost every thing. Which is more realistic.
Mrs. Doubtfire was also in my estimation Robin Williams' best performance Soooo Beeeeaaauutiful !!! Sally Field would have never caught on if his dress wasn't a little askew after his last changeover. I've always been astounded by his incredible talent and impersonations which were prevalent even in his first gig of Mork And Mindy as Orson. He could also do a perfect impersonation of a helicopter in Good Morning Viet Nam. I CAN'T BELIEVE that in the light of all his extraordinary accomplishments he would be depressed enough to commit suicide. He was only 63 years old --he was in excellent health and had many good years left. R.I.P. man---you're in a better place.
One of the most naturally funny people ever. Not to mention being incredibly versatile in performances. True comedy legend and overall good human being.
This is one of the only times in any memory of a celebrity passing that hit so hard it felt like it was a part of the family some of my best memories are of watching Robin Williams with the people I love the most and no matter the differences the laughs were always consistent and the same r i p Robin Williams the world is a worse place without you
I can't even imagine in what dark, sad and depressing hole he was in that he didn't see any other option but taking his own life... its very sad to see that a person that brought so much joy and happiness to millions was actually suffering and going through a very tough time. He will always be remember as one of the kindest, funniest and amazing comedians in modern history
He had been diagnosed with the worst form of Parkinson’s a person can get - something called Lewy Body Dementia. As a retired geriatric nurse, I can almost understand why he chose to end his life. I’m sure depression played a part, as well. He was my absolute favorite actor, comedian, entertainer, celebrity; from Mork & Mindy on.
"Scuse me? Are you lookin at me? Did you rub my lamp? Did you wake me up? Did you bring me here? And all of a sudden you walkin out on me? I don't think so! Not right now! You're gettin your wishes so *SIT-DOWN!"*
I wish I could see him in person again. When Christopher Reeve presented him with best male actor in a new comedy for Mork and Mindy, he said something like "thank goodness someone let him out of the bottle and onto the screen". they were roommates at Julliard and lifelong friends. I think everyone should have a friend like that, who is there through thick and thin and you can tell anything to
Jack Nicholson impression. Barbara Streisand impression. The Scottish accent. Hot dog impression. Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. Rodney Dangerfield impression. 🤣 *sighs* Mr. Robin Williams will always be one of my 10+ favorite comedians of all time, may he rest in peace... 🙂
The greatest impression that i feel Robin Williams ever did was the first impression of him that he left on me: a truly gifted and incredible human being👍
Robin Williams was one of the best comedians ever he will be missed for a long time coming I loved him HE WILL ALWAYS BE A LEGEND IN MY BOOK ! REST IN PEACE ❤️!
My favorite Robin Williams impression is his GPS voice bit. I saw him do it live in 2011 and I’ve rarely laughed that hard since. He did the female and male GPS voices in different situations, like a car wreck, being lost, and the best was the PMSing GPS. Omgawd....just brilliant hilarity from start to finish. She starts out all normal, then she’s “spacing out” and making wrong directives so the driver yells at her and she starts screaming at him and calling all kinds of names and then she bursts into tears and is so angry she tells him the wrong route and drops him off in a lake with a “I told you I didn’t feel well!” ....I was on the floor. If anyone out there has this bit on video, please put it on YT. It deserves recognition.
When he died I couldn’t bring myself to watch the movie Aladdin. The reason why is because of the line he says when Aladdin free’s him. I finally watched it last year after all that time. When genie said that line I lost it I was crying so hard. There will never be another one like him.
It's amazing seeing him and knowing he battled severe depression, it's been six years since he died and I am still broken up about his death, when it was announced that he passed away I was in so much shock, felt like I lost a family member, I grew up watching Robin Williams as Mork on t.v. and loved him ever since.
I heard that a few lines as Genie in Aladdin were improvised. They weren't supposed to be in the movie, but William's bits were so funny, they actually put in extra effort just to make those scenes into the final cut. They did the right thing. Aladdin is and always will be one of my favorite childhood movies
Fun fact: in Flubber, when Robin starts messing around with Flubber to find out what it is/can do, parts of that scene were improvised, specifically the part where Robin stuck his face in Flubber and played about with the impression, the director loved it and wanted it in the film. IIRC, it took an extra like 3 months to make because of that, but well worth it.
I absolutely LOVE(ed) Robin Williams he was the most amazing human He reminds me also of my "Papa" so thats just a cherry on top! Anytime I see Robin I can't help but just smile OH SO BIG... GOD BLESS HIM AND ALL MY LOVE TO HIM EVEN IN DEATH.
Anything he did was worth watching repeatedly. Definitely 1 of a kind, and sorely missed to this day. One of my favourites (apart from Genie) would be the stand up show he did in San Francisco (I think 1987?) and as he was going through his routine, he made a mistake (you actually saw him flinch at this) and, quick as a flash (he always was) interjected a funny put down at himself, before continuing on with said routine... I did have the video (yes, 3,000 years ago 🤣🤣) but eventually it snapped - probably because of me rewinding that particular part over and over again. Definitely one of the best 🌹
He had an awesome little rant as Batty Koda in Ferngully where there was a plethora of voices used. Batty is 100% my favorite character of Williams'. Its the reason I started writing.
Rest in peace to my favorite actor of all time. He may be gone, but his legend lives on. I was devastated when I heard the news of his passing. Gone way too soon.
I have a copy of his Live on Broadway performance that I have watched more times than anything else, but I still remember watching it for the first time when I was 13 and thinking that the pause button was created to catch your breath between laughing. He is missed but never forgotten
Robin Williams is now and always will be a legend in cinematic history...and even though he's gone his memory and legacy will live on in his movies and in our hearts!!!
RIP Robin Williams really one of the greatest if not the greatest comedian of many times
Absolutely true. And he also could do dramatic roles
Amen buddy.
Can't relegate him to just comedy though. Dude s a phenomenal performer/actor too

Yes , as a fan of comedy and musicals this is GOLD
Robin Williams was such a talented comedian. Still miss him to this day.
I like Robin Williams giving the voice to Genie when we can all the different faces of Celebrities like Rodney Dangerfield,Arnold Schwarzenegger,Jack Nicholson other coolest faces of celebrities
You forgot Tim Curry.
His biggest mistake that he was not involved as a SNL castmember.
I’m 28 years old and I still haven’t figured out all the celebrities he impersonated in Aladdin
I love him he was the one in a million
The impersonations he pulled off while doing the role of Genie made me cackle every single time
His impression of Jack Nicholson kills me in that film 😂

Mrs Doubtfire is one of the funniest movies that ever graced the TV screen
The scene where he is pleading with judge to keep his children is heartbreaking.
