I still have the issue of having a blank face most of the time until I feel emotions them my facial expressions are very exaggerated. I hope you have a great day

I watched this thinking you had signs at birth; I noticed nothing. Just a baby laying on a mat with 3 kids all over an a ton of stimuli any child would be looking all over. It's a "20/20 hindsight" perspective. I wish I had an iPhone when my children were born, small, diagnosed, etc. He was born in 1991 and I have "pictures" but not like now. I would have loved to see videos. He didn't walk until 16 months old and started with "bear stance". Videos from cellphone would have been very helpful in showing the Dr, family, etc what we were seeing. We were always "liars", "drama queen", "bad parents", "your fault". 🙄
Nina, you have been with us since about day one. ❤️ Just wondering, What’s your favorite type of video? Vlogs, Autism Education, or Throwback Thursdays?
My son who has milder autism was born with congenital hypothyroidism and was jaundiced. He's 31 now and also has schizo-affective disorder. He's completely mentally disabled due to delusions. 😢
Hello, my name is Keenan. I have autism and schizoeffective disorder. I developed schizoaffective disorder in high school and went through some really hard times. The one thing you should know is that schizoaffective disorder can be treated. I take invega injections once a month and went from being in a very bad place mentally to being a part time employee and a college student. There is hope for your son out there. Stay strong . My delusions have gone away mostly and I don’t hallucinate very often anymore. As far as the Autism goes, I’ve learned how to cope with my challenges. Through my college I get disability support services which takes into account the ways that my brain works differently. And through work I have met some friends that love me for who I am. And I love my friends because they’re very nice to me and help me to understand things and I learn new things every day. I am a very good writer also, which landed me a scholarship. I hope your son will see some improvement with his disability in the future, just take things one step at a time. I am blessed to get to go to school to learn welding at a community college and have positive mentors. Having mentors really helps me to be able to function at my best and to learn how to do everyday things for myself and one day I hope to own a service dog when I get a house.
Have a question!! What was wrong with Ezra when he was born? (Why did he have jaundice?) Also two videos I request. 1. Signs of ADHD in autistic people who are nonverbal! (Because most impulsivity in ADHD is impulsive speech) and 2. Throwback Thursday: Simon’s first birthday (if you haven’t posted it)
That's actually common . My mom was born jaundice. It's usually a sign that they will have low iron. That's a good idea. My 4 yr old is non verbal but can say words. For her she would make sounds as a baby then stopped all together. She didn't put words together at all by a year and a half so I knew something was wrong. The first thing I did was have her tested for hearing. Some kids are just delayed but you as a parent start to notice other signs like no reaction to loud sound at 2 no reaction at all to noises not responding to their name. Seems like they are ignoring you but they aren't . Lines things up in their own order blocks , cars horses ducks , plays with toys weirdly so to speak. Circle spinning , chewing , hand washing or flapping . Those are ones I noticed with my own daughter. She's also not potty trained. She literally seems like she's 1 or 2 yrs old at times. Every autistic child is different. I only know how my own daughter is . There can be similarities but there are differences in every single child
@@7Aheadfamily maybe it was a medical condition that hasn’t been discovered yet, or maybe it was discovered, but it’s so rare there isn’t a name for it!!!
So sorry to hear that. That sounds like you had a difficult go on that one. We’ve had some rough, pregnancies too, but Ezra ‘s was actually really smooth.
@@7Aheadfamily I had her naturally they even let me tear . My first daughter was easy . I had both naturally but at least with my first I got episiotomy. The tearing with emmalina was the worst part. And with her they gave me petosin and amped it up so high just to give me worse labor cramps. That's pretty much what made it bad

Actually, there really wasn’t anything strange that happened, it was pretty normal, despite the jaundice, so no real signs or anything from the birth.
Thank you for asking for the older three. 😊 We will put that on our list for throwback Thursdays. 😊
Also, a question for you…What’s your favorite type of video? Vlogs, Autism Education, or Throwback Thursdays?
I watched this thinking you had signs at birth; I noticed nothing. Just a baby laying on a mat with 3 kids all over an a ton of stimuli any child would be looking all over. Other then that what was the point of the video? Did I just miss it? Kind of feel click baited unless that is the point, there isn’t anything typically to notice when they’re born.
Thank you for watching and commenting. You’re exactly right, it was a very normal birth, and that is what we wanted to show. Many times people will try and blame autism on things around the birth, and we wanted to share that in our experience, that definitely was not the case. There were, however signs very quickly with Ezra, and you can see that in these following videos if you haven’t already watched them…

We’re so sorry to here that. ❤️❤️❤️

My son who has milder autism was born with congenital hypothyroidism and was jaundiced. He's 31 now and also has schizo-affective disorder. He's completely mentally disabled due to delusions. 😢
Thanks you so much for sharing. We wish him the very best. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this ❤️! Your story is incredible and we’re so glad to have you here. God bless you ❤️
Have a question!! What was wrong with Ezra when he was born? (Why did he have jaundice?) Also two videos I request. 1. Signs of ADHD in autistic people who are nonverbal! (Because most impulsivity in ADHD is impulsive speech) and 2. Throwback Thursday: Simon’s first birthday (if you haven’t posted it)
Thank you! Those are some great video ideas. 😊 We are not sure why Ezra had jaundice when he was born.

Emmalinas birth was traumatic. I swelled up in my legs. She cried alot was colicky. Didn't sleep good.
Wow, yeah that doesn’t sound like fun. Petosin really messed up my pregnancy with Marie.
@@7Aheadfamily I don't think I needed it . The nurse was newer and so was the delivery dr. I had no epidural with either. Nothing
Wow! No epidural would be really difficult. ❤️

@@7Aheadfamily I had a boyfriend and I'm 66 years old he's 59 right now never diagnosed high-functioning I was the first one to tell him that I thought it was autistic still believe I'm right I tend to be good at diagnosing this kind of stuff but anyways he also has cerebral palsy. I think his cerebral palsy and autism was caused by an ant oxxo toxoplasmosis infection he told me his mother was a collector of cats and had 60 cats I don't see how she could have 60 cats and it possibly be a clean situation he was taken from the home at some time during his tot childhood and put in foster care. His father left immediately after his birth not wanting to have anything to do with him a sad State of Affairs he still doesn't make eye contact. But works very hard is a computer geek and lives independently with his two cats. I thought I was going to have a romantic affair with him haha maybe if I was a cat. I've tried to remain his friend but it's impossible he just got done offending me well more than that but anyways I digress. I can't say much more just sad
