If you dont like the fact that you have to shift your hand when priming and firing the roughcut you can put a ziptie holding the trigger tight enough so all you have to do is prime the blaster because it will always be in slam fire mode.
Hey Drac do you think you could do that with a barrelbreak because it's a fun gun to play with. I guess you'd have to put up side down. But what ever gust an idea.

You could've removed the dart pegs in the rough cut so it can take streamlines as well as elites. It's pretty easy to do and doesn't involve messing with the complicated smart ar system. just a thought

It's been a while since you did a mod like this. The paint scheme is awesome. If the Raider stock tubes are hollow, you might try putting some smaller diameter copper tubing laced with gorilla glue inside the struts. Just a starting idea, take it wherever you want.

Try putting brass in the barrels and fivers. You don't need to worry about the rough cut except it's impossible to mod. I'd rather rebarrel a centurion for elite streamlines.
Not sure that shell meets the minimum "50% coverage in a bright colour" legislation for outdoor use in the UK, but never mind. :P An orange muzzle doesn't cut it legally over here I'm afraid. Hopefully no one is foolish enough to think it is a real weapon and call the police (believe it or not, it does happen now and then).
I doubt the owner of the toy would call the police, but the police have been called out to a fair few false alarm firearms scares. I'm not saying it will happen but it can, and it does. BB guns are the most common cause for it but most black rubber band guns are styled like small sawn-off shot guns and cheaper squirt guns often mimic semi-automatic pistols. People aren't rational. They see someone running with something that looks like a dark coloured firearm (chances are they can't get a good look at it), they panic, and they call the police. The police then arrive with heavily armed officers (every report is taken VERY seriously and the local bobby doesn't have a pistol like in the US so they have to call a firearms unit in). At best the person with the offending weapon will be reprimanded for wasting police time. At worst, well... The rules are there for a reason. If more than 50% of the shell is a bright colour then it's easier for members of the public, and more importantly for the police if they still get called out for some reason, to tell it's a toy even if they only catch a glimpse of it. That became especially important when police were called out to a train station because someone was walking around "suspiciously" with a holstered UNPAINTED Nerf blaster. You wouldn't be able to see it's orange muzzle in that situation, but the colour of he rest of the shell showing was enough to tell the police it was a toy.

Maybe to prevent trigger fumbling, you could keep the trigger permanently predded so that the rough cut would function with slamfire, pumping to fire.

What type of epoxy do you use for integrations because on Nerf haven I heard that smooth cast 64d is the best epoxy for integrations
