EDIT: Mega darts are much more accurate then elite darts. Especially at high velocities. Most elite darts end up fishtailing or going a cople of miles away form where you actually want to hit. A great video but i can suggest some improvements. Firstly, the "lock" is the air restrictor. You should not be dry firing the gun whilst it is pressed down because you will wear down the plunger rod head. Secondly, one dart is not enough to range test a blaster. You need, IMO, at least 10 to get a clear average. Also, the "plunger rod" is actually the dart post and if you want to get more range and do less damage to the Elite dart then you should get it out with some needlenose pliers. Of course, their is so much dead space in this mod that that is not a problem. Finally, like I mentioned earlier, should get rid of the space between the start of the barrel and the end. If you don't do this you waste energy that could send it the extra couple of feet. I'm not sure about what I said here but I am open to corrections. Good video overall as usual though ;)
AlexTheNerfer I did a similar mod with a cyconeshock. I used gorilla tape instead of electrical tape, and I'm able to easilly grab the PVC pipe I used with a multi tool and remove them to go back and forth between the megas and the normal darts. The dead space in this is insane, and I'd really want to remove the A/R and get rid of the dart post. Also, Elite darts seem to SUCK when you overpower them, and it turns into an artillery peice, getting longer ranges than anything else I own, but being severely inaccurate.

Another thing guys this is a gray trigger version of the big shock meaning it has a weaker spring. Just think of how far an orange trigger version could go. It could do 70-75 feet. A 25 foot improvement is amazing.
I'm no scientist, but I think mega darts are the most accurate. I've handled the mega bow, or the thunder bow or whatever, and it had better performance in terms of both distance and accuracy than a roughcut, doominator, jolt, and a hammershot. I remember the megas having two air holes, but its been a couple months so my memory isn't that reliable now, but even so, I would think projectiles with more mass are less prone to fishtailing and swerving.

I have a Magnus and it's probably the most accurate stock blaster I own, so I don't know what you mean about mega darts fishtailing. Of course, I don't use it much at greater ranges.
So much space between the dart and plunger with the barrel extended... I'd recommend that the rod D removed and for the tubing to not stick that far out of the barrel... That should make it work even better
Worker (a company that makes a shit ton of modding supplies) has things for mega blasters that do this and do it so that you wont break you blaster and its easy to pull out.
You could actually cut the tip off of a mega dart and use that as a barrel for the elite dart, the hole on a mega dart is the perfect size to hold an elite dart in it!
i didn't read the rest of the comments but i think in oder to get a little more power at the shot u need less friction at the start meaning u can sand the interior of the pipe used juuuuust a little bit more so that u won't be needing to screw the dart inside but just be easily simple pressed inside the pipe. If u have fancy tools u could make the inside of the pipe to make an elicoidal model so that u will have less contact surface and add some spinning to the bullet :D it can be fun :D
hey nerf boy! I watch your videos all the time because their so cool! So I saw ur video and I saw that the barrel for the normal elite dart. Kind of looks like a silencer. I thought u could paint a dark camo color on your big shock or maybe even all black. Then the the barrel would look like a real silencer. And I'm always a huge fan of yours!!👍😄
i did something like this but with a blazin bow. i had 2 lying around so i took the spring of one and added it to the other and then re barreled it for elites using a broken firestrike barrel and seccured it with a LOT of elictral tape
Jolt is easier 'cause you need smaller tongs to bigshock to remove AR and Barrel post + you need to take the shell of in the bigshock. Not in the Jolt!
nerfboy i gave you credit in a video i just made doing this same mod since this was my first mod but i did the whole mod in under 5 minutes plus if you use pliers and you pull on the pipe it will come out with ease and you still can use maga darts

The mega dart is actually more accurate because it is heavier and can fight through wind resistant and it is very front heavy

For me the commentary was ok but I couldn't see what was happening. The fireing test was shown as the tubing.
