This review is so good! The instructions that came with the device were not clear and I did not know I had to click the device twice to call my phone. Thank you for fixing my problem. 😊
That's true. This is one area where the AirTags have an advantage due to everyone having an iPhone which extends the range. Still, who knows? Maybe this might change in the future 👀
As for the worst case scenario, theft case, not everyone using baseus T2. If everyone use it, it would great to locate the stolen item in real time mode. Please do review on t2 pro. Great review & keep up the good job. Thank u.
Exactly what I was thinking. If it needs another t2 user to send you it's location, you ain't gonna find it. Why not require a phone to be near it, instead?. They thought of it as if the majority of the world are gonna use this tracker.
Thank you 😃! Yeah, I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Such a contrast to the first video. Also a bit of trivia, the majority of the lighting in my first video was from natural light outside my window. This latest video had no natural light from the outside whatsoever
Yes, it seems to work based on the T2 itself and not the phones. Though I suppose the feature only really works for T2s connected to phones, so in a way the phone is essential too!
Can't speak much towards the specific max dB (some guides online place it at 80-100dB), but it was loud enough to hear from outside a room if that helps! But it isn't too loud to be able to hear in a big open space or in a crowd
If I connect the t2 to my car keys, that means my phone and my keys should always be 10 meters within each other or else it will alarm? This will be a problem at home if you put your keys behind door key hook and your phone on bedroom.
Yes that might be a limitation of something like this that depends on Bluetooth as opposed to more expensive smart trackers that can utilize UWB and potentially wifi.
I assume it should work the same, though with a car you'll probably be out of range a lot faster than someone on foot. Plus if it's inside the car, the alarm beeping if it's disconnected may not be as effective 😕
I assume you mean how long it will remain active after disconnecting from the phone? Well, the T2 doesn't really have an "Off" switch, so it literally just stays on until connected to. I assume that's until the battery runs out.
Hey! To be honest I couldn't find much details on this either online except for one infographic on this site (homesmartway.com/products/anti-lost-baseus-smart-tracker-t2-and-t2-pro) which indicates the Pro could have longer battery life. Other than that it seems to have a different design but not much else
Hey thank you bro! Your video on the T2 really got me interested in the T2 before I was lent this unit and your video was a huge inspiration for me to cover it too
@@RohinNair big thanks for the great encouragement bro.. they have a new apps which you might find it differently from the old apps. Big thanks again bro 😊
Hey there! Sorry, I'm not sure this can be fixed. For something that small, I don't think the volume is going to be that loud. if you feel it's unreasonably quiet however, it might be an issue with your unit and might be worth checking with your seller to see if it can be exchanged for a new one!
It should in theory, but I cannot find anything solid online about minimum requirements. If I had to guess, I would say any smartphone launched after 2014 onwards should be able to run it since the requirements like Bluetooth are quite basic. Most smartphones still active now are from that year onwards as well.
Yup, it'll stay connected to your phone all the time. That's how it stays tracked. If it breaks connection from your phone, it assumes you've lost your stuff and will start alerting you
@@RohinNair Problem is it will not automatically reconnect even if you turn on again the bluetooth. And you cannot re-establish connection unless you have physical access to the tag because you need to press its button. So if you misplaced the tag while your bluetooth is off, your mobile phone will not be able to locate it.
@@qwerasdf686 I'm not too familiar with purchasing from Ali express, but I would strongly recommend reaching out to the seller and explaining that you want to return it for being faulty. Hopefully they send you a new unit or at the very least refund you.

Thanks for the review. I found the info I was looking for. I think the weakness is not many people actually have Baseus apps

Very good review. Helped me decide to buy this T2
Thank you so much for the lovely review.
I am wondering if I can use this Baseus T2 to track my drone at 10 km away?
Since it's Bluetooth dependent, I doubt it could be tracked from more than a few meters (30 meters according to some guides online) !

Perfectly explain!!!!
When you lose it and it's on the move, you'll only be able to track it when it gets near another T2? Not another phone?

I wonder how this will work in cars. Has that been tested?
I assume it should work the same, though with a car you'll probably be out of range a lot faster than someone on foot. Plus if it's inside the car, the alarm beeping if it's disconnected may not be as effective 😕
Should I need to remove its connection via bluetooth if I need to use my earbuds? Or I can connect both at the same time?
You can use both at the same time
very nice. how long it will go on standby mode when bluetooth disconected from the phone ?

@@RohinNair owh okay tqvm. Thats what I thought, and I considered as a disadvantage and the reason why I wont buy it haha.
