This is the best wheel/tire combo I've seen on a 22. I think 35s are the perfect size for those wheel weels, 33s are too small and 37s don't leave enough room for travel. And those Volks look amazing against the white.
man that looks soo good. was a lil sketched when you said white letters out...but after seeing the finished product it does look good with the white truck
I’ve always been a fan of the white lettering. It just adds a little more to the look. Hopefully I can get a lift soon. Not going to settle on a spacer lift
Still digging the K02’s? Thinking of going back to them over my KM3’s due to tire cupping. Just wasn’t sure bout 35 or 37 but the 35’s look good on your ‘22!
damn those te37xt looks so nice.. I like a set in bronze for my imperial jade green 3rd gen 4runner or some a old vintage 79 2wd toyota pick up with fat meaty tires..
How heavy are those Volks? After watching the whole video, I love how meticulous Steve was with the installation. Wish the guys at discount tire were this meticulous so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting my rims scratched.
Back in 2019 I bought a new tundra TRD PRO, went down to mavis and got me some general grabbers x3 and fuckers scratched all 4 rims on the inside. Long story short I got 5 tires installed and balanced for about 1100 bucks. Each tire is about 350ish if I can remember. So yeah don’t trust these discount locals for big installations
discount tire sucks and those boys don't care.. i went in during opening hours and i was the only customer there so it was not busy.. they still manage to scratch up 2 of my wheels on the balancer machine.
Love the setup. I got those same setup but how many turn on the lug nut and what type of lug nut you used? I only get about 5 turn and not feeling really safe.
Took my new rims and had car detailing apply Ceramic Pro 9H brand of Ceramic coating and let it Cure for one week before Installing them on my Sequoia. If your willing to spend that much on rims then perhaps should have ( paint protection film) PPE with the brand XPEL 10 year warranty well worth the investment to protect your rims from being scratch and rock chips.
@@HKX_ORANGECHICKEN I say it depends what you are looking to do with the vehicle. Gx will definitely be a more comfortable vehicle than the tundra, easier to drive and use daily. All depends in your needs and wants. But this is also coming from a tundra owner and I love my 21
You planning to sell as soon as you can get a TRD Pro?... any idea how much?.. I'm interested if you don't have a buyer yet, I live in the inland empire.
no full sized spare? can it even fit a 35? I know my tacoma can fit a 285/70/17 32.7" in the stock location with minor mods.. and some have fit 285/75/17s (33.8").. and that stickout would not be legal in my state.. not even supposed to have any rubber past the fender flares. however mine is about 1/2" past.. but never had an issue..
@@sponsoredbywifey im jelly of those wheels. Cant wait to get mine on my 22 TRd offroad taco. By the way, i build those tundras for a living. I work at the toyota plant here in San Antonio, TX.
First, awesome video and quite a bit detailed. Just curious on the height. You were able to get 35s on stock height/setup? I just picked up an SR5 2023, and I thought in order to go to 35s, you need to do at least a level kit of 1.5in in the front. Please tell me this is stock height. is it?
This is on stock height. The only issue with this, is if I hit a big dip at higher speeds, my tire would rub on the upper fender and pop them out. I would recommend getting bump stops
Awesome man I have some fuel grippers M/T in a 35/12.50r20 with a 2in leveling kit havent installed. Was there any rub on your truck and how high is your lift or leveling kit I ask cause I too have a 2022 sr5 trd off road tundra
I do have rubbing at full turn. My truck is not lifted yet. I am waiting for the right lift to be released. I want to do it the right way for off-road use.
Sucks that they rub. I don't know why they don't make more space in the fenders on these trucks. Manufacturers act like people aren't going to put larger wheels on them.
This is the best looking Tundra I have seen, with the addition of the wheels and tires.
This is the most beautiful tundra I’ve seen!!!
Thank you
I like how the technician took such good care of your wheels
cuz they're on camera

White with black trim. Stunning.
Can never go wrong with volks! Love them wheels!

I'm a Chevy guy but must admit that truck looks sick!!! Love it!!!
Oh Man ! that green Land Cruiser is sweet and your Tundra is 😎 too
OMG!!!! That's GORGEOUS!!!!
Great looking truck dude. Love the set up
The wheels look amazing on the new Tundra!
Wow the truck looks so much better with them wheels and tires
Beautiful truck and Nice Wheels
Thank you.
Truck looks so good....
Nice tire/wheel combo.
Thanks
sick wheels and tires!
Amazing set of wheels!!
That looks amazing!

Gorgeous
Just subbed to this channel! Can’t wait to see how far & successful this channel will be in the future!
Thank you! I hope I get better at this so I can keep going. I got a lot to learn.
awesome setup looks amazing
Nice!! And nice FJ80 in the background as well. Clean!
Sweet wheels! Baller! I went with Advan RDG Gold for my Taco. They are light but not as light as the T37.
When Steve said “yet Ocd” sounded like wanted to say something else 😂
Looks awesome! I do not know why Toyota is not shipping those cars with bigger tires, the default sizes do not look proportionally to the car size.
The setup looks great, I'll prefer hub caps on.
Damn brother that looks awesome, so much better than stock!
Beautiful
I am not really into trucks but this tundra looks hot
I like you went with the white lettering on the KO2’s! Good call! Lift next??
I’ve always been a fan of the white lettering. It just adds a little more to the look. Hopefully I can get a lift soon. Not going to settle on a spacer lift

Nice. I was able to pick up the discontinued 18” te37’s for my tundra. #tegang
Clean and nice look 👍
should go w/ Carven's catback kit for exhaust. everyone else is running magnaflow
Now thats a bad ass truck 🤙🏽
nice K02s
Thinking about getting the same wheels but 18’s to put on my 22 trd pro
I’m thinking of going 18s so I can fit a bigger brake kit

you need the Westcott Lift Kit so those 35" will not rub or have issues when you pop a curb.
Waiting for King Shocks
didn't know you can use the rubber stem on the OE sensor. I hated the aluminum OE Stem sticking out to far
Awesome beast tundra💪💪💪❤❤❤
Thanks!
Looks badass. Now you need a 5 inch lift and window tint
damn those te37xt looks so nice.. I like a set in bronze for my imperial jade green 3rd gen 4runner or some a old vintage 79 2wd toyota pick up with fat meaty tires..
My favorite wheel. I’d put TEs on all my vehicles
Hey! Planning to get this same setup on mine. Did it rub with having the stock suspension?
Great job nice wheels 👍
How heavy are those Volks? After watching the whole video, I love how meticulous Steve was with the installation. Wish the guys at discount tire were this meticulous so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting my rims scratched.
19 lbs. yea… I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I trust the guys at RPM.
Discount tire ruined 4 of my rims and said “those scratches were already there.” Take before photos!!
Same thing happened to me!

Pretty sweet Tundra!!!! Did the wheels fit without trimming or wheel spacers? Thank you, I appreciate your help!

outdoor lift?! where is this that never rains?
Monrovia, California
man i have a tacoma with the te37xt (same spec) and am about to trade it in for a tundra been trying to see if itll fit your video helped
They will fit if you like some wheel/tire poke.
i like your video sir ☺️ from Philippines
Love the setup.
I got those same setup but how many turn on the lug nut and what type of lug nut you used?

also, the blue tape trick is awesome idea..you almost screwed it up by doing one handed.
I know as. That’s an expensive mistake. Those stickers ain’t cheap

Now, imagine a v8 Rumble coming from that truck.

I always Hunter road force balance my wheels/tires which takes priority over lining up the lettering or whatever that's going on here

Bad to the bone 🦴. Nice combo
What’s the size printed on that tire ?
What’s the size on your rims?
Your truck has an awesome stance!! WTG
Baller wheels!!!!
Your volks didn’t come with metal ray valve stem ?
It did, but I plan to off-road it and sometimes those metal ones get caught up on boulders or branches and break off.
Damn

I have a few people waiting for me to sell it
Looks amazing man!! I was thinking the same wheels but the 17x8 -20 offset. Do you think those will work? Why did you pick the 17x8.5 -10?
It was available without a wait time
I noticed that you no longer have them on your rig, is there a reason you swapped them out?
I swapped them out for SEMA. They are now back on my rig.
Do you have more pictures of it? I have a pro but feels like te at -10 jist pokes too much?
Wow🔥🔥💯baaadaaass🔥🔥soo coool
Looks mint AF 🔥 . Oh wat did u do with factory rims n tyres .,?
Keeping them. When my TRD Pro arrives, I’ll be trading this limited in. Gotta put it all back to stock.
Do you get rub with the 35’s? Did you need to get a lift? I’m looking to get some tires on my 22 Tundra
It’s rubbing a little bit, no lift yet
Are you just rubbing the fender liner or did you pull pull that back?
Good review..❤️️
I m new to truck. 0 knowledge hhaha. May I know how much for replace 4 wheel and tires. I m waiting for my new trunk next week
About $5k for this wheel and tire combo

Don’t have one yet. I haven’t test fitted anything in the spare location yet. For now I carry a tire repair kit and AAA.
was this lifted at all? I have a stock 23 Platinum, wondering if 35s will fit without rubbing.
Looks awesome, what about center caps? Do you just see the hub?
No center caps. Wasn’t really a fan of it but who knows what can happen later on. I might add it.
rookies never buy center caps...
The question is does it rub at full turn? With no lift
A little modification to the fender liner eliminates the rub at full turn. But it doesn’t stop it when hitting those dips on the trail.
