wish earthliving could be a solid hot, combined with riptides and healing rain we could have our hots do most of the grunt work while we dps and spot heal with our other spells. I can at least dream
I had to come and double check it was the same person who wrote WoWhead article because it seemed verbatim what you had posted here; lol, I thought someone had stolen your ideas. But, anyway... I agree that Spiritwalker and Ancestral Guidance should swap (along with the nearby talents) to help Enhancement pathing. However, Seasoned Winds is too powerful to move to the top of the tree and would become mandatory (just how Gust of Wind will now be mandatory), while Ancestral Wolf is simply too weak to have far down the tree and would never get picked. I'm neutral about Nature's guardian position, yes, it could be better, but everyone picks either Capacitor or Hex (or both), so it's really not a big deal. Earthen Harmony is definitely surrounded by garbage, but I see that in terms of design and flavor, they were just trying to put all the "earth" related stuff in that corner. In terms of Healing Wave falling behind, I agree, and I hate having to take this niche spell to reach Spirit Link. IMO, the easiest solution would be to make it just a passive that decreases the mana cost of Healing Surge; that would also help with bloating. I do like the name, though. "Wave" just sounds more watery than "Surge" even if both are water-themed names. Riptide has only fallen behind because there's literally 21 talents that affect it. The worst of them all being Primordial Wave because it is practically an extra charge of Riptide that changes the next Healing Wave into Chain Heal. At that point, why not just make it a passive to increase the base healing of Riptide, and decrease mana cost of Chain Heal? it's just extra buttons for the sake of buttons and this is why Shaman is annoying to play. Also, please, I really want them to remove Primordial Wave. Making it buff Farseer (even if indirectly) is a horrible thing, because then the entire tree will be balanced around the possibility of summoning multiple ancestors through that interaction. Keep this annoying spell in Elemental or, better yet... in the shadowlands.
Theun, Im a big Pwave enjoyer and getting it in a chain heal build seems harder now. Would it swapping place with primal tide core be logical in your opinion?
@@theunwowyeah I figured that may have been the reason. For me personally I’d rather have pwave without PTC and tidewaters. Maybe I’m on my own there though.
I don’t get why we can’t just play big chain heal, I personally enjoy having one strong button I just can use. Helps with heroic clears. Shaman is fine before.
This was a good start but ultimately shaman needs a massive rework. We have tons of non-synergistic stuff bolted on, with and spells that haven't been changed since the release of the game. Until then all their tinkering will feel unsatisfying. I really don't want to cast healing rain, prim wave, unleash life, downpour or wellspring. So much stuff to juggle for a minimal effect.
My guy was able to be happy for a full minute before dooming a little bit. Maybe rsham really is back.
finally the shaman vid i've been waiting for! great work as always mate and looking forward to next week's iteration
The talent swap suggestions were so on point, hopefully blizz watches this
I wouldn't switch the DRE with Downpour, otherwise agreed.
He looks happy for the first time since shadowlands season 1
Great video like always. Thumbnail goes so hard.
Wake up babe new Theun healing video dropped
I think blizz needs to just let earth and water shield be timed buffs and not stacks. Maintenance buffs like that just feel bad in my opinion.

I haven't played WoW since first season of Dragonflight, but I'm sure as heck still gonna watch all your videos about how they treat my baby shaman xD
we so back bby

Yeah swapping them wouldn’t change a ton, though primordial wave is stronger than primal tide core so I imagine that’s why they set it up this way

great feedback. ty

I mean you can, totemic actively plays in that fantasy
Earthliving sucks cause you use your rune on wep also...
Seems like Farseer is too much maintenance.
Why is earthliving weapon a talent. It should be baseline for resto

Sounds like you simply don’t like resto shaman
20% nerf incoming
Does this guy even play resto shaman??
Shhh don’t let them find out
