You amaze me.i will be 70 years old this August. I am building a 39 chevy cp for a friend. We started last August. Just about to paint this week learned so much from your show.thank you
I enjoy everything you do, and Jamie is tops in my book you both are doing fantastic things together keep up the good work. Thank You both.
We are looking forward to the Wednesday video drop. My husband and I have been car people for years. He built a '52 Willy's, a '32 Ford Coupe like John Milner, '54 Ford Sunliner, raced a '65 Stang 2+2. We've owned a '69 Fairlane and a '48 Willy's Wagon. Our personal highlight was meeting Ed Roth in person in 1994. We have enjoyed watching Ian since Back from the Dead days. The TV was good but the videos now are platinum.
Ian, you have a true treasure in Jamie. Wife, friend and partner.
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the garage time.
At 79 years old my most favorite “tool” is the thick foam pad for my knees.
Absolutely
At 83 years old, I use 2 mats at a time (one next to the other). It allows me to shuffle around a lot better. Ps Love everything you guys do!
I’m 80 and I don’t have a problem with painful kneeling on a hard surface….since I can’t do it any more, lol!
Artistic creativity using sheet metal - impressive
Victor is a lucky man to have a friend with genie powers to fulfill his wishes. Can’t wait to hear him gush over what you’ve done so far.
I know with Ian’s killer fab work and Victor’s “enhancements” this car is gonna break the internet when it’s done 🤘
For 57 years I have worked wood. I can't stop watching you, working metal has so many parallels I was not aware of till now. The process! You make what I thought would be impossible, possible. Thanks!
By far my favorite UA-cam channel as a 56 year old man i would love to apprentice under Ian. I agree with Jamie i love to watch never can learn enough 🤟👽👍🍻
Ian & Jamie… I am Proud to say that I am one of the 104K.
From the onset of Caddywhacked’s metamorphosis I knew we were in for a real treat… Gunna be really awesome… Thanks for the killer videos…
Mo from Lochsloy….
I not only enjoy the creation and fabrication but also the harmony and humour between you two, pure natural entertainment. Greetings from Downunder 🇦🇺
Me too. Another Aussie watching. Great skills and not easy working with multiple curves.
This is a real sheet episode! Incredible how you can cut sheet, bend sheet, curve sheet, weld sheet, and make it look like art! I guess you have to have sheet skills and sheet tools to pull it off. Great job!
Thank you very much!
It's a sheety job but someone has to do it! 😂😂
It's the sheet!
Turned into a real sheet show for sure
Ian, I love your dry humor, it's refreshing and goofy Love the background mountains. Jamie, your doing a super job on the video's.
Making that fender extension made me think Ian fabricated suits of armor in another life. ⚒️
I have to say I love the music in the manual labor segments, it makes my ears smile.
I honestly think that you are a master craftsman and it’s an absolute pleasure to see the design in your head take shape. Thanks ❤😊
Wow, Ian is on a roll now, literally looking great, thanks Jamie for bringing this to us all😊
More to come!
I know, I can't wait😊
Morning Kids! Jamie & Ian have a great Sundy, Sunday, Sunday, at Smokin' Full Custom Ian where the great ones are built! George The GlassMan!👽👽
Morning!
@@fullcustomIan Ian & Jamie. The music in this one reminded me of Link Wray! "Rumble" is my ringtone! LOL 👽👽👽
Pieces, piecing pieces together, build a fender. The man knows how!
I really like the Dick Dale-like background music. Reminds me a bit of "Pulp Fiction". The English Wheel has a bit of Zen to it. Purely analog. I like that you told us what your posting schedule is. Great job.
Outstanding. Watching you bring that rear fender to life is awesome. The amount of skill and creative vision is amazing. Good choice on going with a full new piece of sheet metal for the inside fender piece. Looking forward to seeing this project progress.
The English wheel is such a great tool! Once you use one you will wonder how you ever got along without it.
G.W. would be proud!
40 years of kneeling on concrete in shops. I wish someone told me to use a kneel pad way back when.
Never cease to be amazed by y'all. Thx
My knees feel better now-love the kneeling pad. Backend is starting to make sense.
There are not many of us tinsmiths left in this world especially us that are versed in english wheels hammer and dolly work as well as shrinker stretcher use ...i use all these tools as well but watching people like you and Bad Chad do out of the box thinking as i do myself just warms the heart great work brother!!!
OK, this episode was simply amazing. I'll need to watch it a few more times just to get my head wrapped around how you did what you did. Watching your well-developed imagination at work is a delight and I'm sure I speak for many when I say how much I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience.
I’m more of a Volkswagen/Jeep/Dunebuggy, instead of a Caddie/Zephyr guy, but I really enjoy watching you create art for art’s sake. Very cool, you have the eye! And Jamie’s video eye really makes you look great! 👍🏼👍🏼
Ian, I watch about maybe 10 car shows for various reasons. You are the only one that I’ve seen that actually uses hand shears to cut and trim metal when it’s a little bit .
Brutals the ways that fenders goes on greatest ideas always.
Yes they do
Great day with y'all. Thanks for sharing with us.
It's amazing how you always are able to line up pieces of metal! Metal is not an easy thing to work with. It's hard enough when you draw on paper to get the right lines. It's easier to erase and keep trying but metal 👏👏You have lots of talent. Thank you for the videos🎉
Been watching since Back from the dead - have picture of Chevy chop next to my recliner for years now. One tool that I purchased has upped my game, a Nikita JS1602 shear. I can cut to net size with a wonderful, safe edge with virtually no cleanup required! It's also fast, like you. At 68, I want to be like you when I grow up!!!😎
Its actually starting to take on the design of a 56,57, 58 Corvette backend, the Corvette tailights would really look nice now, and tunneled down and back would be killer.
We so enjoyed watching you guys thank you it’s a treat
Ians goatee will never be forgotten
Ur getting the flow with English wheel excellent 😊😊
Oh man oh man oh man! I am sooo geekin out on the English Wheel! Don’t have one. Never used one. Have wanted to for quite some time now but didn’t even know where to start. Now I do. Watching you as well as hearing the tips that guy gave you about staying off the edges…. The intimidation factor is melting away like butter off a hot stack of pancakes. I’m thinkin “I can do this” now. Thank you! I love how raw you are. You do so much with so little and you just jump right in. I’m right behind you buddy. I took a screen shot of your English Wheel with the phone number on it. If you don’t like that wheel, or you think I should get something different I’d appreciate it if you’d wave me off before I crash and burn that kind of money. Regardless….. great stuff! Thanks again!
Got to have the foam pad. You're doing great on the wheel. The more you use it the better you'll get. You already understand how metal works. So you are ahead of the game. Keep up the good work.
Yep it got that signature look to the fender. Starting to take shape now!!
My comment about using a pad to save your knees resonated a little bit I see. Hope it makes a difference at the end of the day (and years). Victor is going to be stoked with the project! Love your channel!
Liking the Sunday shows thank you best wishes
Watch from New Orleans
The 1938 twin tail Cadillac roadster that Cadilac should have made !! Love it. !!
Love to watch when you are doing the fab work on the cars you build. Starting to look cool.
Another bad ass build going into the hall of fame
This thing is going to be bad ass when u are done! Love seeing how it comes together, and the thought process that goes into it. Thanks for the show!
Love watching this take shape...thanks for sharing you two...
Hi, Jamie I like you (and Ian) keep that video rolling like an English Wheel!
Wow... The fab of the Art Deco tail end came together super fast... Gorgeous styling 🎉❤! Those that criticised the speed of the project would have nothing to say here in this episode 😮!
More than a work o fart, Pickassole wheelin the sheet like no ones bizness and showin the Sceptics what a piece of art really looks like. 🎯🎨🖖
you never cease to amaze me with your talent.
Let's go uncle Ian..looks awesome has a flow to it now victor will love it
Build what ever you want I like watching all of it
Nice work. Congratulations on breaking 100K. Victor should be happy to see yuor vision. However his mind always seems to be in motion.
Love the videos Ian is such a talented craftsman does some of the coolest I ever ever seen 👽👽🇺🇸
Thanks for inviting us back its always good to stop bye and see what's happening, that view out your garage door is something to behold Love it
I truly love how you put stuff together . Cut here. A line here. Loe this
What I can totally dig is Ian is using a grinder and a welder to build cars. I've got a 4-in grinder and a welder and a skill saw, And I've built a car.
Wow, you guys didn’t get the rain, rainy morning in Temecula. Happy Sunday 🔧⚙️🏁😎
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
It is satisfying watching him work. It’s fun seeing which way Ian will go on a design. Sometimes I actually see it as he does! Fun.
Beautiful fabrication. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Definitely looking good Ian and Jamie Taking Nice Shape
Stunning lines. A real piece of mobil art.
I like watching this also. I can’t believe your going to be able to match the left hand side to this by eyeball, that is an amazing talent.
Getting finer all the time! 👍
Wow Ian.I learn so many tricks, watching your great vids and you nailed that fender. So Damn Cool. Thanks again Ian
Great fabrication video, the english wheel is quite the machine
Great video I love working with metal and watching you guys do it so easy thanks
Your choice of music added while Ian works is so enjoyable. Keep up the amazing content
Thank you! I think I’m finding the sweet spot! ~ Jamie
Love to watch your metalwork.
Update to your comment at 24 minute mark. 105,000 subs.
Great to see you start tackling more intricate processes like the English wheel.
Your "production" schedule now makes all the difference.
That looks so awesome! Tons and tons of room for a Rumble seat. ✌️😃
Ian, you sure have the knowledge of so many years of experience. It is just wonderful to watch everything that you do on your videos to the cars and it’s perfect. Your timing gives a lot of people time to see exactly how you’re doing it. In my opinion you’re an excellent teacher, the only question I have is when you get to the other side, you have to make it pretty much exactly the same do you ever before you start welding pieces make a copy on like cardboard and then you know exactly how the other pieces should be on the other side or do you do it all just by Site and feel it all works out. You are amazing to Jamie. You are so good on the camera now you get right in and focusing it’s just perfect thanks so much for having the patience and I think it’s fabulous to watch you both work together . See you on the next video, I think you’re the best show on UA-cam !
Man that turned out mint. That was my biggest tuft with the shiw was it always seemed rushed, you literally can not rush art. Michael Angelo took 20 years to paint the Sistine Chapel
Ian the master of metal love your work take care guys
Fantastic work, loving the fabrication skills.
A happy Sunday indeed
Really coming together that thing is going to look amazing
Just amazing your skill is unreal
Thank you for sharing.🛸👽👍
Wow..fender transformed!
Super episode great wheeling job on the E. Wheel! Taking shape fast!
That fender came out awesome!!!
Hooray, Hooray another Ian n Jamie day 😀
You know it's a good day when there's a new Full Custom Ian video. Always an excellent watch! Thanks for the awesome content you guys!
I love how you rolled those fenders out along with how low this car sits is going to be Awesome!!!!! I just love how the rear bumper area blends in with the fenders this is going to be one sweet machine. I can't wait to see what your going to come up with for the rest of the car. Thanks for sharing what you do with us. Your the Leonardo da Vinci of car building. Thanks Bro. I can't wait for the next episode.
Jamie your choice of music was spot on ..love it...
Karl, from Karlkustoms shows some way's of using the English Wheel, one is, draw a small circle where you want it raised most, then every inch larger, start 10 time's or so in the smaller circle, then enlarge rolled surface always passing over the parts already done,😮 just what I've watched, thanks for another creation, all the best to yous and your loved ones
It’s coming along nicely!!
I love how you make it look so easy, nice job , little humor along the way works nicely too
My knees feel better just watching you use a pad to kneel on! Love ya'll!! God bless.
Looks awesome what you did extending that right rear fender.. Good job Ian and Jamie. 😊
simply amazing to watch someone take nothing and make it something 🔨🤍👽 GREAT EPISODE! can NOT wait for the enhancement
Ian you know your stuff . Like watching you . Your friend Al from Boston Massachusetts USA
Cinco the Fender to the ground. Ian is not the only word Smyth. Beautiful lines
Ian , my man , you have a master talent and put your ideas into metal quickly . Your loose on design but it all blends in the end . Enjoying this and the Zephyr vids immensely. Maybe I am overthinking when I am fabricating LOL . Also your rant about Trenton LOL !
Looking great!
Love the process
Looking great.
Great Vid. Ian and Jamie 🇺🇸 As A Life Long Cadi Admirer and Owner This Land Yaht Is Going To Be Uniqly Beautiful ~
Love the Link Wray influenced music.
Thank you for playing Dick Dale and Link Wray. 💜🎶. Duane Eddy would be way cool too; more guitar with that cool reverb groove. Mr. Eddy recently passed.
Thanks for having one of the coolest shows on UA-cam.
YES to Duane Eddy!!!! Ventures, too Jamie 👍
