I’m 67 now and have been training since I was 14. I follow several different people on YT with regard to fitness just to get new ideas. I have to say that the way you train is the way that most closely resembles what I do, kettlebells, Bodyweight, boxing/martial arts, weighted rucking. I find that mixing these things keeps me pretty much able to do most things. Keep up the good work, I like your videos. BTW you certainly do not look 40, more like 20.
I have been doing this for decades and it has worked for me. I am 44 and feel like I am 20 years old. I am strong, very well conditioned, and no matter the physical task I am primed for it because I have trained a wide variety of things which transfer very well into daily life as well as any physical situation. I can't say the same for the people I have known over the years who focused solely on deadlifting, benching, and squatting the max weight possible. They are all busted up and out of shape (if they ever were in shape by most definitions).
Thank you so much for your Videos and wisdom! I love simple Training like BW and KB. Keeps you away from doing unnesserie exercises and Focus on doing the compund ones! Also makes you fit for everyday tasks💪
I like this, a mixing of styles and doing each enough to get benefits from each type or each modality. Before when I used to be Bjj, karate and some machine work for resistance training...I was well beyond my mid 30s but didn't have an ounce of fat. Kept things fun, engaging, I learned new things along the way and I looked forward to it everyday. Edit: hey Dessen, do you have a video on what calisthenics can and cannot do compared to Kettlebells; or one does better than the other ? I think you mentioned it in some video but cant find it.
Yeah but how does he actually workout? I have no idea what his routine is like. If you've seen his ebook superfunctional training, its also kind of fuzzy, not really clear, and seems overly complicated. Its a little bit like uber jacked people showing kettlebell workouts online. Come on. We all know thats not how they workout. Theyre just making content. Now i dont know how bioneer actually works out, so i hope he actually does what he preaches.
@@bodyweightkettlebells Well he's an all in one guy we see him do conventional weightlifting up to caliesthics movements he's obviously training in different styles man.
@@AwakenZen i understand. Im just wondering if his daily workouts are actually like the ones he shows on his videos. Or if those are just for the sake of the video content. There are so many youtube fitness channels that show things that they themselves dont even actually do...
@@bodyweightkettlebells yes bro people believe everything because it's cool video , his videos are great but does he actually does that training probably no
@@moh7224 We don't know for sure. But it's very common practice for fitness youtubers. At least in my channel, I show you literally what I do. Nothing is for the sake of presentation (except for tutorial videos).

Thank you! I hope to keep it up like you all the way. You're an inspiration.

Glad to hear that! We are on the same path brother.

Great advice!
Glad you think so!
This reminds me of the Bioneer he's the best at mixing all styles together.

Use the colour videos seem better.
Thanks for your input
i thought you are just 23?
Haha I'm only a couple of years away from being 40!
