i just wanted to say i haven’t played a nerf battle in probably 8+ years since i was a kid. but for like 4 years i’ve watched 90% of your content. probably just cause i know there’s good people behind this channel. idk many other youtubers who could film in luxurious locations like you sometimes and not even acknowledge it. you do everything you can for your hobby and that’s something i can stay subbed to. even if i actually don’t play nerf (i’m a big nerd for engineering in the closet, (biology person) so cool products are fun to me to see reviewed
Engineering in the closet sounds like it is incredibly difficult.
I like the dark red actually it sets off the red internals really nicely. Glad you like the 3D printed parts and thanks for the shout out!
You may possibly get better results with that paint if you use a lighter hued primer, depending on the consistency of the red

I bought one, was pretty hyped.
It didn't fire when I pulled the trigger too often to be useful. I paid to ship it back and get a replacement since they said they don't even stock spare parts.
The second one has started to fail in the same way. I've only ever used either stock, with the stock spring.
Id say judging by how many people on various forums have had similar experiences it's hard for me to recommend it at all even given the phenomenal price point.
I think it has something to do with the slamfire mechanism in it.
Same here I shaved down the catch a bit with a razor blade and it helped some

@@tyler9463 If only. The issues for me pops up with usage. When I first take it out the box it functions great, then a hundred shots in or so and I start getting instances where pulling the trigger does nothing.
I love the Trion. Has to be my #1 blaster of all time. Injection-molded, takes AR-15 attachments, mlok rails, fared magwell and full length top picatinny rail. Such a smooth, light weight blaster. The action is just buttery smooth and flat faced trigger is tacticool. Skinny pusher is also a plus.
Best blaster for us non-nerf-war people who just want to plink in the back yard with a durable, high performance blaster that doesn’t break the bank. And no GameFace isn’t paying me to say this.😂
Do you play at a private field where such blasters are allowed?
@@COMET_C01 No I just plink in my backyard. I have yet to find anywhere in Phoenix where nerf wars are conducted :( I would if there were though
@@cosmonious Not sure I agree with the overarching and generalized statements. My Trion works well; no jams with no internal modifications. What works for me may not work for you but you can’t say ALL Trions jam after a few mags. Perhaps the QC went down after the first batch. For $80 I think the quality really can’t be beat unless you spend $120+ on a blaster, something that may not be feasible for plinkers like myself.

Just ordered one, got mine without the sight and the invoice said it included it, they cancelled my order once automatically for some reason? Then i reordered and didnt get my optic and they havent replied. Their automatic email system kept hitting me up despite the fact i was talking to someone. I hope they send it to me because i only got it this paycheck for the optic. And the prime feels like it needs lubed BAD out the box clambering new darts is an issue, i was realmy excited for this blaster and optic but hopefully when i crack her open i can tune it, fix her up a bit for better reliabilitiy..

Thank you, still no reply. Its a fantastic blaster, had to shave the almost reverse catch though, lube everything up and it works PERFECT now. Well one small issue, the slamfire doesnt always catch but maybe i shaved too much off the catch? It holds well though, slamfire is so impractical anyways, but it is a nice feature. Its worth the 70-80 bucks for sure, i mean the fun part is modding and making it your own anyways. Just needed some tlc. Now lets see how it holds up
The flared magwell, skinny pusher, ease of tuning, just to name a few features we usually have to add, are reason enough to get this blaster, even if it has hiccups
Update: they replied and theyre sending it, i told them Drac made a video about it so theyre gonna get blown up haha
Return it and get you money back. The Trion is notoriously unreliable. Multiple people in y group have one and none of them work.

The sights are priced really high if bought separately. Wonder if they inflated the price to make the deal look better. Either way, they are a nice include and would probably get me to buy a trion if it wasn't for the fact that I've seen a bunch with inconsistent triggers.
Mark-up is real but you'd have a hard time getting them for much less than 20-30 bucks too, enough to still make it a pretty decent deal in my book. I was very impressed with the Trion in its 2022 Foamcon preview and mine is currently going through a few break-in pains with the trigger. I'm hoping my unit ends up actually breaking in and not having a real problem (and IIRC, they're working on pinpointing a certain molding defect and hoping that will fix the issue. Maybe not, but good that they're trying).
