Great to see Lemmo having more and more fun with each episode, thanks for everything guys!
Just when i thought this could never be replicated, Lemmo makes it real
I can't be the only guitar player who's thoroughly impressed with Lemmo, while also completely discouraged with their own playing....
I give up, selling everything
His playing style is very unique. He’s probably self taught like most of us.
Dan Bremer actually he spent some time at Berkley
Rick Brown oh. I didn’t realize. He has brought a new style with him though. I
Couldn’t agree more,
I absolutely hate cancer. I encourage everyone to join the fight against breast cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, her family, and her friends.
Godspeed Jenny.
Praying to a fictional sky wizard won't help. Neither did science. Although at least science actually tried to help.
Have some heart dude.
@@maxscardanelli6185 dude don't you have a heart?
@@maxscardanelli6185 : Pointless self-important arrogance knows no bounds.
I forgot mean-spirited as well.
damn...Lemmo has some insane chops. I cant get over all the chirps and inflections he gets out of this acoustic. The playing on this channel has greatly improved.
Much more skilled that Mark, certainly
1. Julia - The Beatles
2. That's the Way - Led Zeppelin
3. Melody of Rain Song / A LEMMO original? Beautiful whatever its name is.
EliTroyer The melody that comes after Rain song is this: ua-cam.com/video/G4xwUymEoDo/v-deo.html i think its his original tune named " 1 "
Thank you, Eli!
@@pufi999 wow. Crazy. Kid was awesome than and even better and more Patient today. But that's from experience .
EliTroyer that second half was amazing
I miss Mark and all of the songs he used to play.
Some of the best playing that has ever “seen the day of light”! Keep it up Lemmo!
And a fine Flat Top Friday was had by all thanks to Mr. Lemmo and his magic fingers!!
Condolences to the Pagliaro family, and all of Jenny's friends and fans. Far to young to be gone. R.I.P. young Lady. 🧡😪🌹🌹🧡
Lemmo is the best choice for this . I’m so glad we have a new host continuing a great tradition. Makes my day
Billy Coffin it’s not the same without mark I miss him
Those harmonics at 10:40. Lemmo, holy crap.
Cleanest Martin I’ve seen for the age, seems practically untouched. Beautiful. Lemmo has taken over perfectly.
Clean as a whistle
That original was a masterpiece! Bravo!
CANNOT BEAT THESE OLD BEAUTYS!!!
You seem way more comfortable now Mike! You're crushin' it man , and we'll miss ya Straturday. Love ya Jen!
PEACE
Standing O for that original song man!!! it was brilliant and beautiful - just so inspiring...WOW!!!
Love the D-28! My best friend's brother got a '67 for his high school graduation.
Michael, you've got to learn at least a few bluegrass licks for when you demo on old Martin Dread!
I purchased Lemmo Demo from iTunes today. My pleasure to support this great artist!
I definitely want to see where this talent can go!
Zeppelin, Beatles and not a single note from the Rolling Stones. . . .Excellent, please keep this up
Your last song was Awesome. You have this little can of magic dust, you sprinkle a little bit of it all around, and then there is magic .............
Nice playing as always! Beautiful sounding guitar.
The original tune gives me chills. Incredible
Song #3 just might be the moment when GOTD officially became the Lemmo Show! Great playing!
R.I.P. Jenny ☮️ Awesome Playing Michael Lemmo 🎶🎶🎶
Man, keep coming back to this episode. Awesome guitarist with awesome guitar, playing, well some awesome stuff!!
That last song sounded like a whole band, but it was just one guitar. Awesome.
The most Beatles on guitar of the day ever! Ever day. It’s awesome.
Mr Lemmo sir you’re doing a fine job.
That last song was just... WOW.
The 1960 D-28 in Lemmo's other demo still reigns supreme!
Incredible guitar. Incredible playing. Lemmo for President.
Wow, you can actually feel his emotions coming out in the end of that last song, that was amazing, guitar is a great healer, specially played like that
What a Terrific Player !!! Just Wow.
Lemmo, your'e doing an AMAZING job of showing what these guitars sound like and the different sounds they can make!! Also, I could listen to you play all day!! Also, RIP Jenny. Your voice and music will live on!!
One of the best flat top Friday I ever seen. Great work Mickaël & Jen.
You're videos are very inspiring. I Will play with open tunings today.
Absolutely love the direction of this segment. Dude Phenomenal playing. Beautiful guitar.
Man... That's The Way reminds me of all the times I drove the California coastline from Gaviota to Big Sur and listened to this, Going To California, Bron Yr Aur and Tangerine on repeat.
A nice tribute to a great musician. That made the episode for me. Mr. Lemmo's playing was the icing on top. Thank you guys!!
Lemmo, you’re doing a great job....just sayin.
What a fantastic player! The original track is absolutely amazing. Wow!
Love this guy's playing so much. The original song was beautiful
Loved agnesi, but lemmo is taking the horse and reins, and blazing all new trails. Own a Martin and grew up Easton, pa lemmo. Long live the Lehigh valley! Lol! Sent a shirt👍
Mike Smith Bethlehem here! LV represent!
Oh man, that 3rd song was amazing! 👏🏼👏🏼
Fantastic guitar......even better playing. 👏👏👏🙏
I was born in 67, and would love a Martin from that year.....
I really thought I was going to miss Mark, but Michael just keeps knocking it out of the park! (Think my girlfriend misses Mark way more than I do !! 😉)
This was a special episode. Loved it. Rest In Eternal Peace Jenny ♥️
Absolute Inspiration!!! Thank you!!! That last tune brought me to tears! Thank you!
Beautiful...innovative...haunting...transformative...fantastic! I'm trying to find the right word to describe that last song you played but just can't. Honestly, every time I tune in you show me something new and I hear the guitar being played in a way I have never heard it before! Lemmo = Legendary
The thing I miss about Agnesi doing guitar of the day is this: when Mark played the three songs at the end of the video, I felt like I could learn the song by watching him or at least pick up some tips. With Lemmo, I out just in over my head - his playing is so advanced and complex that I am overwhelmed.
So sad for the loss of a friend. Prayers to her entire family...love from Detroit!
Glad to see You were brought up on some GREAT MUSIC! By THE WAY... there's no better way to guarantee than to tell someone who they can't play with, that they will become Lifelong Friends!!!
The news of Jenny’s passing was a blow after following her battle with breast cancer as she pursued her career and dream as a talented singer and musician. Mike, that third song, wow! For Jenny.
WOW, Nothing like a great player playing wonderful songs. Thank you, Michael. 👍👍
The hypnotic aspect of LISTENING to flat top playing is the right hand of the player. Your strumming sound is SO there. Not many know how to bring out the best in the spruce. You have nailed it. It's called finesse. Well done.
B.
That last song... OMG. Lemmo you gotta start releasing some of these originals. This one in particular is great.
That last song is so moving. Bravo, good sir. Bravo. Mark would be proud. Keep up the good work!
Awesome episode! Love the t-shirt! Great info in this and other d-28s! Amazing playing!! Thanks for being a great host for GOTD and enjoying it, and not acting like it's a chore!
Fantastic playing, especially the last song 👏
This guy's got crazy chops. That was near some john Mayer level stuff at the end.
Whiskers B lemmo is cooler than John Mayer
While attending Moravian College, my son worked at the music store across the street from the Martin factory in Nazareth. Mr. lemme probably spent some time at that store. It was owned by some truly wonderful people they were very kind to my son.
That's the Way is my favorite song of all times! Thank you!
A unique talent. Lemmo creates music.
#16
Nice Long GOTD in honor of Jenny...
GodSpeed Jenny🙏🏻😇🎸🎤
PS
“Hasn’t Seen the Day of Light”
Anyone catch that🤪🤪
Yep
"Day of light" god I love Lemmo. Amazing playing as always!
This Lemmo guy, we have to appreciate!
My condolences to Jenny's family. Cancer is brutal on the families involved. May your hearts always sing with her song.
Mike..you're a Rare Talent...amazing.
Such an amazing tone. My dream acoustic. Awesome playing from lemmo. Always a pleasure seeing his videos👍
Awesome job Lemmo! Prayers for Jenny , her family and Angela too🙏
This guy really booms projects amazingly
You are way to talented to work in a music store. I will look back when I am olde(r) and remember Lemmo at Norms!
I sit here wanting to give my condolences to ALL of Jenny's family and friends,,,no doubt she was way too young to go... sad to hear.....but....also.... fantastic work on that Boombox as usual Michael ! Proud to be a fellow Philly rocker
Great playing. Last song killing it !!
I could listen to that Martin all day, hopefully you’d be the one playing it. Beautiful stuff!
i really love what you do guys - Michael , you're playing is awesome and brillant , it really inspired and inspiring. The vibe is always really positive in the videos and it's so good to watch everyday. And yes, life is short, the undertaker can take us any time any place, we got to live our passion for music and guitar totally everyday.
Jen, love it that u r stamping your personality and click with Lemmo. Thanks to u Lemmo. Love the LED Zel story & Martin factory story. Lush playing Michael. Great song on a class counding guitar.
My dream guitar. I wanted one and was saving up to purchase an older D-28 until I had 2 strokes. I finally got back some use of my right side and found some picks that will help me play again. Now to save up enough again to get one.
Awesome video and great choice of music to demo it with.
That Martin sound...my grandpa swore by them...beautiful
D-28 , that is the one if you're an acoustic player , and that one is gorgeous , the sides and back are stunning , that Brazilian rosewood is just magnificient. Luv the Zep , their music is timeless and Lemmo just showed us why , very well done Michael. So sad to hear about Jenny , I lost my father to this devastating menace we call cancer so I'm all too familiar , wishing Jenny's family and friends deepest condolences , R.I.P. Jenny.
Michael your doing a great job. Loved the original piece ! That D 28 was a gem, beautiful tone and what you would expect from a vintage Martin Keep up the good work 👍
I've only just seen this, Mike. Your playing is fantastic. Inspirational. Thank you
Julia without the capo on #2. Interesting!
Damn, that's a nice sounding and looking guitar!
P.S. Sorry to hear about your friend. Condolences.
When you're a genius who knows every position you can do that.
@@waybackplayback1373 Well, it's not quite the same this way. Lennon and I use the capo. But yep, Lemmo is very versatile!
He was out of tune too.
The sound of that Martin is epic!!!! Lemmo fantastic job sir.
Incredible playing.
Great work Lemmo. Almost 2 weeks down and you can tell you're really starting to make GOTD your own. Great job! Great playing!
The last song was very cool, can’t go wrong with a vintage Martin
There is nothing to say but just... Absolutely WOW !
Amazing. Lemmo you're not human.
That last song is what I feel like on Fridays when I come home from work and my kids scream “daddy’s home!!”
I have always loved GOTD. Lemmo you are at one with your instruments. So entertaining and showing them to their full potential. What a blast.
Awesome job! Again. You such a great guitarist.
My absolutely favorite flattop Friday ever!!!!
The Lemmo original was just a joy to hear. Is there no end to this man’s talent!
Lemmo still killin' it! Love the Martins!
Simply BADASS! Enjoyed brother!
Brilliant future ahead for sure, you're AWESOME
Anybody got the feeling Michael should be given all the guitars he plays? He's that great and would deserve them :)
Love Flat Top Friday 😍. Michael Lemmo.. you are a fantastic gotd host. Thanks for all you bring to it.
I swear this event made my headache go away and I'm not kidding. Had it all day, too.
Juuuuuuliaaaaa
