I would call that more of a “guitar of a lifetime” not guitar of the day. A stunner and as much as I’d love to have it, I am neither financially secure enough nor am I worthy of it. Definitely belongs in the hands of someone with more skills than I. Great job Brandon - you made her sing. And, congrats on your single!!! I’ll definitely check it out.

Considering a Lawyer in Ohio will buy it and keep it in their show room in a box and never play it, you would probably be a great owner. The wealthy are not worthier than a musician that can barely making ends meet.

That was an incredible demo on an incredible sounding guitar. It's nice to hear a recognizable tune again and the drop d medley was especially nice. I love Lemmo, but sometimes I feel like it's the same thing being played over and over - on a loop 😉. So have Brandon on was a refreshing change. Maybe consider him for all Flat Top Fridays?

Well he didn't explain it that well as 28 is not "code" for spruce/rosewood. Martin numbers after the model letter designate the appointments on a particular style of guitar. The higher the number the more "bling" on it. All 21 models or above would have spruce/rosewood as standard so it's the appointments, binding, inlay etc that the numbers represent.

I also think Brandon should do more acoustic stuff. His knowledge and game is an asset, and the flattop friday is ideal for this. friday for brandon ! many more viewers in the long term. it polarizes the "guitar of the day" even more.The D28 is a dream. Sometimes I dream I find one in the attic - long forgotten

The first time I heard this song, it brought tears to my eyes because of what the words were saying about what had happened. Brandon did a wonderful job with the James Taylor tune.

Absolutely loving Brandon's history lessons, he's an encyclopedia of guitar! That guitar is IT!
