@David Fowler The editing and graphics are after. The footage is from before. That's why Nate called James a US Champion and not world champion, and why even when they commented on the Envy he was throwing none of them mentioned the shot.
Just bought one of the commemorative Envies this week, it's a pretty nice disc. That one will probably end up a wall hanger, but I might need to grab an Envy to bag.

@@BIZARBIES normal people have jobs during the work day plus the quality of entertainment goes way down when you compare live coverage to the next day production in my opinion. Not worth it
@hyzerponix Well when every other event has been free to watch it does feel like a bit of a shaft. That's like Sunday night football suddenly being PPV only and expecting everyone to just accept it.
Some genius believed the best way to capitalize on the sport was to make one of the best tournaments PPV...even though the free nature of disc golf is what draws people to the sport. So instead of being able to enjoy edited coverage of the usdgc we either have to pay to watch live or opt to not keep up. This needs to be changed or the term US champion isn't going to mean much in a few years.
@@kristjanyoutube3620 Innova is basically the tournament director for this tournament and they partnered with DGN allowing them exclusive rights to the broadcast. DGN then put it up behind a pay-per-view because that's the best way for them to make money.
@@nurse5645 my big problem isn't even with that, it's that if you pay, you're paying for worse quality content than you normally get for free. If it were post production from jomez with a bunch of bonus content I could justify paying for it but it's lower quality filming, editing and commentary
I think we need Jomez to film a bunch of these throughout the season and release them over the off-season so we have fun content while wishing for warmer weather.

Idk listen I understand the sport is growing and eventually it will be a cable provided Chanel that I can only get if I have a cable provider but the fact that we could get Next Day coverage for free at the World Championchip but now the USDGC is a pay per view style tournament....absolute bullshit!! I don't understand the correlation of free courses to free coverage. They have to pay for the cameras and staff somehow. It's not cheap to rent out Winthrop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
