I've been playing for almost two months, level 44 and I've been putting tons of time into plugging away on the lower level animals. the more you grind away at them: the more you take the lower level ones; the more likely you are to get higher level and rares. keep at it!
In theory, a player’s first animal can be a diamond. Take a look into Flinter’s videos as well. He has a beginner series and a ton of videos explaining diamonds and how to make the most money and xp and succeed as a beginner. Good luck
love this game but i really wish they would increase field of view. would love to take shots beyond 500-600 yards and being able to take 1000 yards shots
This is the first of dd’s videos that I ever watched! In fact it was the first ever video about the hunter call of the wild I ever watched! At the time I watched it I was clue less about what to do in the game. I would hunt like I hunt in real life( I still do) but after watching this video I learned so much about the game! If UA-cam didn’t recommend this video I would still be shooting 5 medium moose with the .243(which I did 3 times) Thanks for being a great person!! Keep up the amazing work!!!! 👍👍👍👍🏹🦌
I went over to your spots and did as you said and found 5 level 7s, an 8, and a ton of 6s and 5s and raked in the money. The only issue is getting around the river, even with fast travel lodges it is pretty annoying to go get a body and set back up again, atvs help a lot though. The 7s look really nice in the entry way of the Spring lodge. Thanks for the video! edit: Just walking around normally, I never really saw many red deer at level 5 let alone haul in a bunch of 7s like today, so it felt pretty nice. The best spot I found was right after the bridge in the trees, 4 of my 7s came from there alone in one pass. The rest of the spots were pretty empty except for one 7 and one 8 on a multi server.

Had to start over again last week (new pc )and old safe of the old pc was totally messed up (release day save) So started over went to Africa and the first gemsbok i shot (with the muzzle loader) was a diamond. So nice start for my new hunting cabin.

They have equal chances it’s about respawns to and take it from me I’ve been playing for almost 2 years

I messed up my shot on a 9 grizzly, ended up being a gold, of I hadn't whiffed it woulda been high diamond
If you don't harvest those they will respawn, you can still open them up to see and just close the game if you messed up

I had a piebald red deer as well except it was a 9 legendary, it was one off diamond, I got so mad
I almost thought that you had found The Great One.
I stalked an albino level 4 Gembesox for like 30 mins and never got a chance to drop it.
So far my biggest Red Deer score is 262.8 And looks really nice in my lodge.
