Its crazy how you see the animals so easy. I have to look 5 times, before I see something, you found so fast and with no effort

@@EnmadaioI’m struggling rn bro I only took down 2 bears, 2 ducks , 2 rabbits , 1 buck and the starter deer that they let you take down in the first mission after 3-4 hours of gameplay . I feel like that’s terrible

My grandpa when moose hunting in Alaska 20 years ago and shot a fairly large moose but when he told me that he shot the moose 3 times with a 340 weatherby and just looked at him I was speechless

I’ve been playing for a few hours now. I am a level 6, killed several animals, and yet I don’t have any weapons in my store other than what I started with. Can anyone explain what I’m missing?

Just started playing this game because it was free on epic games store. Why is it so hard to see on the screen even without the blur? It feels like there's too much glare or something and everything is just either bright or hazy. Ive changed the settings and turned AA off etc but still it's hard to look at the screen

When using the starter gun, my recommendation is using green tip ammo. It cost a little but its worth using.

Hey Flinter, you can check your weapon score per shot during the claim menu. It is in the top right. You will see "weapon score"
Dude you make it look so easy. I know you edit videos in not talking about that I'm just talking about your shots. It's not that easy at least for me.

Such useful video, it's a really relaxing game, but part of it means you lose a lot if you're not patient. Knowing what works best and how to take advantage of it is nice.

I have a question. Why others love to shoot VITAL ORGANS like LUNGS while others also, like to shot them in the SPINAL?

It was a realism issue basically. The game was made with a “quick kill” bonus in place, and the heart, spine, neck, and brain were all instant kills (as long as you used a reasonable weapon) in real life, that’s generally accurate (heart isn’t but it’s as close to perfect as you can get in the vitals) but a spine shot isnt an instant kill, and generally isn’t very humane.
After quite a lot of community questions about why the game would work that way, the devs came up with a solution to promote ethical hunting: the vital hit bonus. Now if you hit neck, lungs, heart, liver, (or technically brain but there’s a bonus for basically not hitting the skull as that could ruin the antlers so I wouldn’t recommend the brain) you’ll get the bonus and the proper medal for the animal
Idk but it doesn't seem like you are using starter equipment/perks here, maybe its just harder on console. I play on ps5 and the sway is crazy sometimes, even at low heart rate. Yet all your shots seem to have almost no sway and you aim super easily. I've even got 2 sway reduction perks now and it still is tricky sometimes. Its also taken me several hours just to get 900 rifle score. I am now lvl 9 and getting better but leveling up is still pretty slow.
It’s the sway control that using a mouse offers. I’m almost always moving the mouse to counter the sway, which just isn’t nearly as feasible on console in my experience. I’ve been told console actually sways less. I did a few vids using a controller on PC and struggled quite a bit. When I play on console it does seem to be a little easier to deal with the sway with controller there than with a controller plugged into a PC. I don’t know for sure tho

Hello. I just noticed something, do you maybe know if latest update removed "DLC" icons from weapons and ammo that come from packs? I don't see these icons and I have the "Complete Edition". Thanks.

I just rewatched your first beginner series. Amazing how my cravings were so conveniently timed.
For me the hardest thing is aiming im not gun person and for me its hard to know where to shoot cause the bullet can fly over or nit hit at all
I'm level 3 and got a moose with the 243 by sneaking up behind him and shooting him in the back of the head. Only 1 I've gotten though.
The problem im struggling with this game is that everytime i have a caller from an animal is always behind some bushes or trees and not visible even with binoculars … And when im approaching it , making zero noise it runs away
When i hunt bison had the grelch rifle but no ammo left and stumbled apon a heard of bison so i went to 308 and started blasting 😂like 50 rounds hehe
Hey i just started a couple days ago and i have the zeroing perk can u explain where to aim, for example:
Red Deer 115 m but i only can zeroing my 30-06 at 75m 150m and 300m.
Should i aim higher or lower ?
Should i zeroing the rifle for 75 m or 150 m?
Would help a lot like all of ur videos!

@@tigrex007 No problem, I would say around 130m so yeah 125m is fine and you just want to go down the line of their shoulder a little bit but not to much as the more range the more it changes, if you go to the island on the right side on Hirsch it is a firing range that gives you infinite ammo while there and you can test these things out

Hey Flinter, any chance you could show where you are on the map from time to time? It'd be great to know where these spots are where these animals tend to be.
The thing I struggle with the most in this game is finding animals to begin with. No matter how quiet I am, or how much scent block I use, i see empty spaces full of fresh prints and droppings. Just as frustrating as actual hunting lol

Just find need/feed/drink zones and it literally tells you about what time to come back to find the animals it revealed i was like you guys till i started just doing that
Flinter, my first request for the new beginner guide series is where in the game do I find where I would look for animal need zones and how to find out the times, besides just randomly finding them while running around. I looked in codex but I don't find any animal info. As always great content thank you for doing a new guide. You da bestest 😁
Animal need zones will be like sleeping areas or feeding areas, it will be highlighted gray I think and it will look like some broken up grass pieces, if you walk up to it and investigate it it will tell you their needing time on the map when you hover over it.

I just got my first black bear today
Great video flinter I was late because me and my mates were having a blast I got a diamond roe deer and an albino one and also a diamond rocky mountain elk
Did they change that again so animals come back to there zone even if u shoot 1? They did a change when i started to play and the animals would never come back which made trying to lvling up at a somewhat decent pace a nightmare.
I noticed purple zones start to vanish overtime and have also noticed animals back in those areas once the purple is gone. Takes some time though. I’m still pretty new to the game.
@@ebonhawken574 yeah they vanish as u hunt other areas. But for a long time an animal group always came back to there need zone untill u killed 4-5 animals destroying that need zone. After the change u only got 1 chans and the heard was gone kill or not. More realistic that way yeah but it became a giant pain to lvl up. This change effectivly slowed down lvling speed by 300-400% without compensating with higher kill xp.

I still wish my 243 irl kicked as little as it does in this game and i wish it was as quiet as it is in game... Such a good and versatile round tho went coyote hunting last week

So flinter I have a question if I killed 20 mountain lions in multiplay will those count as a diamond one spawning on my map and cool video I got a diamond mountain goat a hour a go😊
Nope if you kill an animal on someone else's map it respawns on that map and same way for people killing on your map
