If you want sir just one thing I would like to say you no although on this genius album but generally I often feel in few ones as the Rozz’s voice is like this in the genius movie 🎥 of Brian de Palma Phantom of Paradise 😊
It was clear he was sick of the Goth scene by this point and wanted to distance himself towards new sounds. He definitely flirted with his psychedelic and glam rock influences here. RIP 🪦
Rozz Williams has been a constant throughout my life. It took me good 15 years to truly enjoy and understand this record At just under twenty minutes it's it's hypnotic, trance inducing, heavy as fuck with just the essentials. This is not heavy metal. And it'groovy. This is white light white heat, plus the stooges It's dripping with essence of sex. Straight.gay bi. Whatever you want. I love Rozz.. Even tho I pup my rock n roll toys away a long time ago. And some of them aren't worth more than a handpalm. Some times it's nice too know that it's the world is fucked and you had it right all along. The second album with songs like nostalgia and hold me down would have been even more grand..Alas
Marilyn Manson ripped Rozz´s image , artwork, music , themes - watered it all down , made it accessible to the " Alternative " kiddos of the 90s - and yeah , Congratulations ! I guess ...
he stole it a lot more from Skinny Puppy and Ministry; his sound is much closer to industrial rock, and his actual 90's look (torn tights, medical equipment) is a rip of Nikev Ogre
Wow! Hearing this for the first time after watching a Rozz documentary. "Love lies" really reminds me of spiritual cramp! Same kind of vibes and vocal in that song. T.T Sending love to Rozz in the multiverse and everyone who loved/loves him
Appreciating this album on a whole different level after exploring the music Rozz was into. Can so hear Bowie's crooning, Ferry's Warbling, and those driving guitars from Iggy. It's like Rozz took the best parts from these artists and was able to write these epic songs, and write them consistently. His talent is missed.
I had Tshirt for this lp,sold it on eBay in 2016 for 75 bucks. This was one of the best projects Rozz was in, a direct line from the first Christian deaths first lp, to the sound of this.
Knew him mid 80s ultra sensitive like me gay like me but I pale in his talents as a poet writer singer artiste spoken words I'm a d- he was A++++++ man I miss him fondly will have his pic w me 84 in my grave can't wait
@@BrattyDogTapes Rozz has been a life long love since the 90's for me. All these years later his music is still as powerful as it was 25 years ago and the loss still as deep 🖤
Wanna make love and more in the time of this album...! Without this joke... Several song like Christian Death is ... Maylin Manson's influence/inspiration/copy !!?
You can say that Rozz Williams and Christian Death were an inspiration for Marilyn Manson, not the other way around, in fact, most of the things that Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson did in the 90s, Rozz did it before them.
For starters, his name is Marilyn... not Maylin. Second... you bring up a point that is as old and used up as Courtney Loves crotch... and got it ass backwards just to showcase your total lack of knowledge on this topic. Rozz Williams was born in 1963 and was 15 when Christian Death formed in 1978. Marilyn Manson, born in 1969 and was 20 years old when Marilyn Manson ( the band) formed in 1989. I'd say "do the math" but I'd be stupid to assume that you actually can. So, this not only makes Rozz significantly older than Marilyn and makes it impossible for Rozz to have possibly stolen from Marilyn . Then there's the more important issue, which is: Why can't 2 people be incredibly similar by their own nature, without one having to call the other "poser" or some other bullshit? They both look like they could be my twin brother, and I've done exactly nothing to alter my appearance in my entire 40 years on Earth.
Rest in Peace you beautiful man.
I think his voice sounds so unique in this work. RIP Rozz Williams
He is trying to sound like Marc Bolan of T Rex on a few tracks. I love it!!

100 percent true. He stole everything from Rozz. I've been saying this for 25 years.

I have to say I don't think rozz when I hear MM tho
I agree about the image but I don’t hear much musical similarities.
More in love with your art everyday. Love you Rozz

This really is a great work, I like the band he had together in this project and wish they could have released more.
Sick! I didn't know Rozz got so bluesy.

Where did u get the shirt from?
I remember hearing this cd for the first time and knowing nothing about it...
"Woah, this guy tries REALLY hard to sound like Rozz Williams" 😂
HAHAHA SAME, When I first stumbled on this record I thought they were ripping off Rozz and Shadow Project
I don't know why but this reminds me of Morphine
Good shit truly....
