enjoy !
I met Rozz when I was 13. My parents split up and my dad moved in with his new girlfriend who had 2 girls who knew him living there. (Azusa Ca.) I played pool with him and I was a little metal kid and he was so cool and spent time talking to me instead of the adults about music. I’ll be 50 in a couple weeks but I’ll never forget that night.
That's a great memory to cherish! He seemed like a friendly, gentle kinda guy, so him rather talking to you instead of sharing stories with the grown ups, makes a lot of sense....
Wow. I had a friend I lived with in corona ca back in 97-98 and grew up with all the Agnew brothers in Fullerton, Ca he used to tell me stories about them when they were in high school amazing stuff.
Beautiful memory
I met Rozz,Paris and Eva during shadow project 1994 tour in Dallas, was 19 at the time,,,have several photos from the day/evening.
@@a1mordegatos I would love to see those pics!!!!
Back in the 80's when Rozz lived in SF, he could often be seen at some of the smaller clubs where he would often MC shows. He had this amazing charisma. If he was in a club, yours eyes would immediately go to him.
wow i live near sf like 40 mins but sadly i wasn’t alive in the 80s
rozz sounded and looked like a citizen of another demention. i love the differance between the vocals from track to track on this. i love his outfit. theres just something very beautiful; about it all.
ROZZ: "I can die a thousand times but I'll always be here." He was a prophet.

The guitarist absolutely shredded Burnt Offerings. Love it!
the bassist too!
@@Obaldino Yes! And not just Bunt Offerings. Both of those guys are ripping it up!
During this tour (that I saw in Brugge, Belgium), the band was made of:
Drums: Todd Dixon
Bass: Michael Saavedra
Brian Hansen: Guitar (replacing Rolf Donath)
Thanks Eric ! great....
Fantastic, charismatic artist he was! And a sensitive, kind soul. I cherish the picture of the two of us together forever. I hope you found peace, Rozz!
GREAT SHOT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RELEASED OFFICIALLY BY PROMOTERS BUT EVENTUALLY NEVER SURFACED THANKS FOR THE SHARING
I'm one of the promoter. It was not possible to release it back in the day. So recently I wanted to share it for free, the other promoter didn't wanted too. So the guy in charge of the video decided to share it by himself, agreeing with me, and I'm deeply grateful for it :)
@@MrValstarSuperstar thank you. If we had uploaded it ourselves in full, private collectors would have been upset. Glad the official parties got together and had it done.
I first saw Rozz Williams at the basement I absolutely fell in love with the sound and Rozz Christian Death 45 Grave was there also so I went from hardcore punk to Death Rock in a heartbeat
I was there. Thanks for sharing this!
You're lucky!
WHY can I not upvote this more times? I think about forty billion should about cover it.
A really good one. I love all Chrsitian Death's music but on stage, Rozz is such a great singer end performer, to me, better than Valor.
Yeah... *much* better! Before he was 38 (and died) he did so many things, he had many bands and projects, made many albums, played a lot of gigs, had many looks, did his collages and performance art, and it was *all* DIY! I love that, he must have been busy all the time. And he was a great character, very charismatic, and he had intellect, a true pioneer of (American) Goth/Death!
So much better yes
No comparison - Rozz IS Xian Death.
As Christian death fan since I was 14 y.o (i'm 50 now) , i can't but thank for this being uploaded. The Rozz at his beginning had a huge influence on my making music.
12:22 - “In Absentia” - one of the best songs
certainly the most subjective, and very striking, for me.
I agree, great version 😊
Absolutely.
Best version of in Absentia for sure 🙂
😍That was fucken great!!!!!!!!!!! So much raw energy and power coming from all over, and especially from Rozz, who gave it his all.
Man, what a concert...
What a treasure I discovered today. Thanks for sharing
Grandioso! me alegró el día ver esto.
Wow absolutely never seen / heard this one before! Thank you!
Really goth!
Merci !
Te amo!!!Rozz 🖤 mí amor 🖤
Genial, en plus j’y étais !!!! Merci beaucoup!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you
I FUCKING SCREAMED THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS
and where the hell does this come out? extraordinary.
Incredible concert and Rozz, what a great performer he was!
Hell of a gem! Thanks for sharing this!
Love him ❤
fu un bellissimo concerto....me lo ricordo come fosse ieri...
Ah oui je me souviens !
This was so fkn amazing
Merci beaucoup for upload it on UA-cam!
Merci de l'avoir sauvé !
Thanks for post
INCREDIBLE quality for youtube...im shocked, thanks Pablo! EXCELLENT version of in absentia also
awesome. thank you.
Great job!
very Bowie like
It seems most every musician from the late 70’s on were influenced by Bowie.
He even starts with a few lines from Bowie's "Time"
So it sounds sometimes like Bauhaus …. also big fans of Bowie…. So there we have it - great sounding concert
Great thanks
J'y etais concert inoubliable 🖤🖤🖤
La chance raconte nous ma vieee ❤❤
what an incredible video
Gracias por compartir 🖤🖤🖤
He needed a variety hour t.v. show. It's 70s and the field between and the screen was deep. You had to be in great shape to be a vampiric person and still have good grades whilst you diggity shallow but affordable graves. We dig 45 grave with extra gravy on the side of dark disparity. Rozz how you go on .
Saw them the day before in Mulhouse ...
Awesome.
Thank you so much ...🦇💜🦇
A little piece of history
😍
Que hermoso!!! Como consiguen esto?? Gracias!!!!
Lo amo muchisimooooo
HE WAS SO FIIINE
WOWWWWWW
🖤Intenso,pastoso,tossico.denso e intenso come sangue grumoso🖤
♡♡♡♡
yeaaaaa
I have this on DVD. I think I got it from someone in Italy over 10 years ago? Haven't seen one since...
His hair... enough said
What the hell do u mean?
Pink hair... Great! This guy *always* looked amazing...
the gothic david bowie 😈
Rozz looks like david sylvian
And sounds like Bowie...well who doesn't
@@zachbos5108 I sas talking of the face and hair looking.
✨🎶🙉🎶✨
Que se necesita para revivir a Rozz ??❤❤❤
Any studio recordings of Nostalgia?
musicians most likely are , mark barone -bass , christian omar madrigal izzo - drums , and maybe roxy - guitar , this was daucus karota 1994 europe tour
thanks for this input
It's Todd Dixon on drums, actually.
@@caseystrange oh don’t know him
I doubt I'm alone in this feeling, but April 1st 1998 was one of the absolute worst days of my life. And that's considering my mother and a close friend of mine also both commit suicide in that same time frame. Still, due diligence requires that I give more credit to my own personal well-being to Roz than either of those two.
Tela...!!!!
Anyone know the name of the musicians on stage with him? The bass player is badass.
they were all amazing, and the guitar player joined just 3 days before the gig !
I just read it in the comments, the bass player is Michael Saavedra, the guitarist Ralph Donath or Brian Hansen, and the drummer is Todd Dixon.
I been talking like s cheap, dime store novel since 1987
Casey Chaos? line up anyone? thanx
The one and only Rozz = CHRISTIAN DEATH .... VALOR = IMPOSTOR !
Name of the drummer ? 👀
What was this show billed as? Rozz Williams, Daucus Karota, 1334
Rozz Williams
Thank you.
I love Daucus Karota :)
Great perfomamce, Rozz is kinda Jim Morrisoneske, just a character and attitud, in other hand, Valor is more melodic artist, different but did it real good.
Ho sbagliato chat
Rozz was bad ass best artist ever Danzig is behind but rozz beats him by a mile
Awesome.
