Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
@@jacksfishing3024 those are black jewfish, different species. when people in NSW refer to "jewfish" they are talking about Mulloway and the best big mulloway fishery in Australia is Yalata and dogfence beach. Mulloway also get bigger then their black jewfish cousins
Should try chrome bearing 13mm od with pro lure paddle tail 80mm in sardine blue white colour.and ya can use any hook to with in reason to size of lure. Found 30 to 40 pound darcon is far better. Ya get a good fold on lure hook up rate is now at95% circle is a top profile. Or assist hooks.

Hey Nev if you wanna catch some big bream use raw chicken breast cut into strips and cast near docks. Use either a completely weightless set up or just a small split shot so it flows naturally in the water under the dock.
Is that the rockwall you got the landbased Jewie? These smaller towns that dont get hammered by googans are perfect for youtube. Way less pressure. BTW Ja...25 games smh

if you love mulloway then a trip to the far west coast of SA is a must have on the bucket list.

One of the Queenfish, the Lesser Queenfish perhaps. Lesser Queenfish, Scomberoides lysan. Getting nearer to the bottom of its range in the Yamba area.
