With only the view from the front, you should check moving the turbo to the front as much as possible. That will help with the air connections as well as giving more room to connect the exhaust side.
I know a guy who has a crazy idea I would like to see him work on. He's taking an old truck and stretching the cab to make it a crew cab. But it's sitting in his dad's back lot of his business.
I had a 2002 Kia Sportage 4x4 given to me by someone at my church. 4 cyl. 2.0. It runs good, but bottom rusted. When it does the death wooble I have to get rid of it. They found out I didn't have a vehicle for 10 1/2 years. I'm on SSD and can't afford much, but thank the Lord I received it. I got it Oct. 2020 and maybe have put on 2000+ miles. Just thought I mention it. God Bless P.S. what great looking cars you are doing.
You could do a 5-inch flange at the turbo that goes directly into two 2-1/2-inch pipes stacked on top of each other if 5-inch is too big around to curve in certain areas. Either way, you'll have 5-inches total.

Put the big turbo slightly infront of the small turbo so you can come out of the compressor housing and make a short 90* right into the inlet of the smaller compressor housing.
If your ever looking for parts and are ever up north in the Buffalo area I have 2 spare motors and transmissions from 89 firebirds I stripped I'm trying to unload. 305 350 700r4 and a t5.
