NEW PTX MEDLEY! It’s been awhile since we’ve done a medley video and we had so much fun returning to our PTX roots with this album. We hope you all enjoy it!

What are you talking about? They are singing live. That is the whole point of this video. Matt is not singing actual words for the most part. He is using a technique that a lot a bass singers use to project his humming. Matt is great and has a wonderful voice.
Well. I mean. If we check the other member's position then. If you check at 1:23 then you can see that the angle of Kirstie's head clearly shows that she is looking at us while the mic is positioned to low for the mic to actually catch her sound at a good quality. It's more acceptable tho for Matt and Kevin since their mics are made for instruments to catch low sound.

joao victor Rocha No. it really isn’t. Matt, Kirstie and Mitch all sing and highlight/emphasise key words. Kevin (& then Scott with him) sing the Baritone bit, Kevin leads it... If you listen with headphones, you can hear that Kevin stops beatboxing and Matt continues to sing the Bass. Watch them too! They’re really slick, watch Kevin when they’re singing Perfect, then you’ll catch it.

Honestly, all five of them were amazing. Scott's voice is as powerful as ever, Kirstie always sounds so sweet and angelic, Mitch slayed the high notes in sorry not sorry, Kevin's beats (and his singing part at the beginning of stay) were perfect, and Matt absolutely killed all his notes. Pentatonix is as strong as ever. I think it's silly that people keep comparing Avi and Matt. Both are extremely talented, and I love them both, but they have different styles and different sounds. Neither one of them is better or worse. Also, I think it's absolutely adorable how happy Matt always seems to be singing with the others. His energy and excitement really adds to their group.
Aleyna Wilkie I agree with every word you said. Also, judging by the clips of the rehearsals Pentatonix have been posting on social media, everyone lucky enough to be seeing them on the upcoming tour (not me sadly) are in for an amazing time, every bit as good as if they had Avi still with them.

I love how much more prominent Kirstin has become. She used to stay a bit more in the back but now she's really taking the lead. Confidence looking damn good on her!
I definitely think Matt fits their new vibe. Avi gave the group a more *rustic* feel, but Matt gives them the right edge to send them in the more pop-ish direction they're heading towards. Both are great, it's just really interesting how drastic the effects are of changing one person.
Thank you! That's exactly how i feel! Like i feel like the only song on this album that Avi could've brought a better feel to might be Perfect just because it's slower and has a more rustic feel. Matt fits in with the four SO well! I love him so much
right? Its like we get it, Avi was great. We all liked him. But he's gone now by his own choice. Don't let that stop you from recognizing that Matt who actually WANTS to be in the group is very talented himself and doing a great job.

PTX just keep on getting better and better. Their voices work well toghether. Im sad that Avi has left but he's still singing which is a relief. Matt is an excellent addition to the group. He adds more rythm. With Avi or not, PTX is still my fave accepella group.
Kyrin Palmer. It was because of how fast paced the group is with all the touring, interviews and everything that it wasn't good for his mental or emotional health he's very much a person who is very family-oriented and is all about taking things slowly and he felt that he was holding the group back because of this, so he left the group for his own health. It was 100% his choice and doing what was best for him as well as the group.
Okay a few things about Kirstie: 1. How can she keep her posture so good? My back would be killing me. 2. Kirstie singing despacito sounds like angels singing 3. How is she so god dam pretty?!
I haven't listened to Pentatonix in a while, and i have to say, they sound incredible! I don't know why i took such a long break from this! It was sad to see Avi go, but Matt makes an amazing addition and brings a different style of music. I am in love with Pentatonix once again! Keep up the good work!

You guys take it to the next level ON THE DAILY!!! Sallee's bass was smooth and Kevin's beatbox was untouchable. Oh. And Kristin was gorgeous.... but everybody knows that.
Centennial I was always prepared to love whomever they chose as a Bass, because I knew that they had such high standards, that they wouldn’t choose just ANYBODY! But equally, I was worried that, if they couldn’t find someone totally suitable, they would disband! But when I heard their 1st interview about Matt, and Scott said that he was the whole package! I was SO RELIEVED! And I loved him immediately. It was their gig in Canada and during the Evolution of Michael Jackson, he shook his body down to the ground! That sealed it for me! 😘 I’ve been loving him ever since!
Derek Mejia Avi is a one of kind of bass he can't be replace in fact that you want to replicate Avi PTX had to get a new Bass not a new Avi and I think we down Matt for mainly not have g the crazy bass range that Avi has but we gotta give Matt some credit he's a true bass its just nobody will replace Avi
Dontea Jones “true bass” lol ight I’m just being realistic in terms of skill levels bc Matt is really young for a bass (24) and idk how long it’ll take for him to reach his peak (which basses do around 30-50), it’ll take him longer. Bc when you hear him talk you don’t think of him as a bass like he sounds normal. I’m not trying to bash but being realistic.
Even tho it's been a few yrs. I love hearing their melodies of their CDs and can I say how much Matt is always smiling every video they make. It's amazing
Moral of the Story All PTX members are underrated, but I think Kirstin and Kevin are the most. Everyone just talk about Mitch and Scott, hardly ever there are comments about Kirstin or Kevin
I actually see majority of comments talking about Kevin and Mitch on basically every video. People say they're 'underrated' so much that they have acrually became overrated (not in a bad way). Then I see comments on Kirstie and less on Scott and Matt. Maybe it's because people are still slightly getting used to Matt (pointing this out now your voice doesn't always have to deep to be bass). I guess since Scott is very versatile and soulful with his voice people just they hear it and enjoy what they're hearing, but they never actually comment about and show the appreciation as much as they do for for Kevin, Mitch and Kirstie.
Mitch always looked like a kid with a fake mustache before. Now he just looks like a kid without a fake mustache. lol I love this medley, and I love the new album!

recently kirstie has been singing lead more. she has a bunch of solos in their new christmas album. ptx have also been centering her in videos and interviews more often instead of their usual order
WHY ARE THEY ALL SO ADORABLE look at all their cute patterned shirts and yellow accents (and Kirstie looks just amazing as always) and they're all just so happy and smiley and their hand gestures are all so precious and ugh this video just brings me so much joy :)
Chethana RS an accent color is a color that is used only a little bit, but is the emphasis in a color scheme. So in this video, they're all wearing mostly black and white, but there are small bits of yellow on their shirts that stand out- so in their "color scheme", yellow is the accent color. I hope that makes sense :)

I actually see majority of comments talking about Kevin and Mitch on basically every video. People say they're 'underrated' so much that they have acrually became overrated (not in a bad way). Then I see comments on Kirstie and less on Scott and Matt. Maybe it's because people are still slightly getting used to Matt (pointing this out now your voice doesn't always have to deep to be bass). I guess since Scott is very versatile and soulful with his voice people just they hear it and enjoy what they're hearing, but they never actually comment about and show the appreciation as much as they do for for Kevin, Mitch and Kirstie.

So in this video, they're all wearing mostly black and white, but there are small bits of yellow on their shirts that stand out- so in their "color scheme", yellow is the accent color. I hope that makes sense :)
