So... I'm back here after the Daft Punk split announcement because this was the video that made me fall in love with Daft Punk's music - actually dance and music in general. I just wanted to thank you, Pentatonix, for being the ones to introduce me to them! You guys and Daft Punk have inspired me greatly back then, and now I find myself being inspired by you once again as I continue to pursue the arts! Thank you 💙

I worked one of their shows a few years back and they left a letter in the dressing rooms thanking all of the crews that worked that day. It was such a cool gesture and really showed that they are good people. So few in the industry show any type of appreciation. I hope they are doing well after the events of the last year.
Oh, they're doing great! Their new original album has just came out, Kevin (the beatboxer) became a 1st time father this month, their new video '90s Dance Medley' came out yesterday, etc, etc. Thank you for sharing that nice story. :)

Vocal percussion is so different than singing. Honestly though this group is talent meets creativity with a load of hard work. I really would love them to come to Denver, I've wondered how they'd sound at Red Rocks.
It is always a sad event when a group of talented individuals break down due to drama. Sometimes it is legit drama... but even then, I wish people would just allow the world to turn without notice to the bumps in the road.
This was the first time I ever heard of Pentatonix. I was blown away that there are no instruments - it's ALL voice. Astounding then, and I shared this video with everyone I knew. I've loved this group ever since. Pentatonix never fails to amaze me with how they all come together - even when they adapt to changes in the group from time to time.
Vicki, I'm glad you've discovered Pentatonix! You have some catching up to do. There's lots of music to enjoy! I don't think you will ever grow completely accustomed to the idea that there are no instruments. In the decade or so I've been enjoying them, I still shake my head in amazement, almost incredulous about what they do with their talents!

I just stumbled onto this looking for Daft Punk remixes - never heard of PTX before but I love them now. Such a good, hopeful, loving vibe to them!!! +Hattori Hanzo Pentatonix did win a Grammy for this for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or Acapella (and their nominated in the same category for this years Grammies for Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies.) The only category their producer would have been eligible for is in Non-Classical, and that went to Max Martin,who produced Bang,Bang (Jessie J), Dark Horse (Katy Perry), Shake It Off (Taylor Swift), Problem and Break Free (Ariane Grande).
And they're appearance look awesome (some of them because some could of put effort in it but still look awesome I loved Mitch look that white hair tho)
AikoMonster I'm pretty sure it's not. There are baritone people that can go that low and fluctuate their voice in that fashion. In fact, in their video "Evolution of Music" he does it quite frequently. Not quite as dramatic and pleasing sounding as in this one, but it proves that it's not autotune nonetheless.

Nick Santangelo Hi :) I’m glad you were able to find some peace and happiness listening to this group, they’re a ray of sunshine :) I do recommend you try EFT, it’s a tapping technique that’s been used to heal many, many people and works wonders on those with PTSD, including war veterans. Brad Yates has an amazing channel here on UA-cam and you can do all of it along with him. I’ve used his videos and they’ve helped me beyond belief, and I believe they can help you too. Take care of yourself because you definitely do deserve it.

Nick Santangelo I hope it helps you :) Also, if you feel you may need more help, please see an EMDR therapist. It’s a technique that’s used to process trauma, and works much, much faster and even more effectively than talk therapy alone. I saw an EMDR therapist and she was so helpful and kind. It usually takes only about 4-8 sessions, or 1-2 months, to see results almost completely heal past trauma, even serious traumas. AikoMonster I'm pretty sure it's not. There are baritone people that can go that low and fluctuate their voice in that fashion. In fact, in their video "Evolution of Music" he does it quite frequently. Not quite as dramatic and pleasing sounding as in this one, but it proves that it's not autotune nonetheless.

I do recommend you try EFT, it’s a tapping technique that’s been used to heal many, many people and works wonders on those with PTSD, including war veterans. Brad Yates has an amazing channel here on UA-cam and you can do all of it along with him. I’ve used his videos and they’ve helped me beyond belief, and I believe they can help you too. Take care of yourself because you definitely do deserve it.

Also, if you feel you may need more help, please see an EMDR therapist. It’s a technique that’s used to process trauma, and works much, much faster and even more effectively than talk therapy alone. I saw an EMDR therapist and she was so helpful and kind. It usually takes only about 4-8 sessions, or 1-2 months, to see results almost completely heal past trauma, even serious traumas. The United Kingdom uses the method to help their own veterans, and many, many scientific studies have shown that it works very well, although we don’t know why.

Update: Just got done with it yesterday, it was amazing.
I trained hard enough beforehand and was able to hit those B1’s, which was my first main fear.
I gave Avi a handshake, hugged him, talked a tiny bit, got two pictures, and an autograph.
