The Cher ‘Believe’ song should have significance to Pentatonix. They were supposed to perform that song on the Sing Off but they did Video killed the radio star instead. Look at them almost 9 years later slaying it!!! Love them so so much!!
I am not sure the song would have worked so well without the autotune without totally changing the genre, and they wouldn't have been able to use it on the show. I am VERY happy we got Video Killed the Radio Star, anyway.

Right? I was listening to Eiffel 65’s Europop album the other day (the one with “Blue” on it, in case you aren’t familiar with it), and I had the realization that the album is over 20 years old, and I’ve been listening to it since it first came out. I felt real old. 😂

I don’t really have to comment about the amazing talent of this group. Outside of that it’s not crazy to say that the all around music of the 90s has to be in the the greatest if not THE greatest decades of all time.
The Cher ‘Believe’ song should have significance to Pentatonix. They were supposed to perform that song on the Sing Off but they did Video killed the radio star instead. Look at them almost 9 years later slaying it!!! Love them so so much!!

I am not sure the song would have worked so well without the autotune without totally changing the genre, and they wouldn't have been able to use it on the show. I am VERY happy we got Video Killed the Radio Star, anyway.

Na it was completely different at that time, no homework at McDonalds, no basketball court, and I listened to an Aiwa, not a Sony. Dang I am getting old, not only do I remember music cassettes and walkmans, I even remember phones with a rotary diial instead of keys
