- Pick leftmost paddy field as the main combat area to stall n kill Haunt, while in rightmost area, u fend off trash pollution slugs, ofc u need to purify both areas n ensure water pumps' source areas pure. *However......* - U may need to stall Haunt much later in CM due to 100% polluted area near the spawnpoints. Solution is to change main combat area, you still need to decay him as much as possible till he leave leftmost field! - Deploy ur tankiest ground unit latest and diagonal to ur dpses to mitigate tarnishes' mortar attacks. - Fend off Haunt's contagion slug summoning with all ur might to put less pressure on ur 2nd combat area (ur main area nearly 100% polluted). 3 method after that, pick what u guys found optimal: + Forcefully trigger Haunt's magic spear to purify main combat area after his phase transition. + Stall and kill Haunt despite main area 80% polluted. + Lure boss to another pure area to finish him. - Keep at least 1 area pure. If all polluted, Scrap all water pumps and mitigate the pollution of area closest to blue box - have a last stand till our last ops, end the battle quick! - All tips hs-9 apply.
