When I was taking piano lessons while I was in high school in the mid 1950's, my teacher told me, "Teddy Wilson is considered to have the best left hand in the business." (I'm not trying to start an argument here.) I found out years later when Teddy was interviewed on the WKCR radio in New York by Phil Schaap that he had to roll his tenths in Db, Eb, Ab & Bb (like I had to). He sure doesn't sound like it!
...for anyone who cared to open the OP's comments and read through the track listing and personnel, "B, meltorne" is more likely Mel Torme, the famous singer who actually started his career as a drummer....him and Don Rickles, both.

I think we can add to that list comedian Charlie Callas, who played in Ralph Marterie's band and Mel Brooks. Mel Torme is pictured at 28:12.
