have to say I drive a porsche and my son has a monte carlo citigo that cost less than just the options on the porsche. I find the citigo fun and of surprising quality and if you thrash it (which it seems to like) it refuses to go below 45mpg
All in all I m never shamed by the skoda and it shows just what great value there is to be had from the brand that frankly represents the thinking man's best access to vw engineering. Although the porsche is pretty impressive vw engineering too!

I´m new owner of this amazing car. I´m 207 centimeters tall and to be honest - i´ve never driven such an comfortable and roomy car. Fabia and Octavia is like joke in compare with Citigo (for very tall people like me). Such a huge amount of space for legs. I feel in much bigger car. It´s small only outside.

@@domzbu No, 6,3 relative fit in there in the front with no hassle whatsoever, it's got a very tall side profile, if you park it next to a golf it's taller.

Good review, which helped me buy a used one for the wife. It’s 5 years old, 30k on the clock, but I noticed the other day without the radio on, when letting the clutch out changing gear, I could hear a soft clunk as the clutch engaged. It does it on all gears, and I’m not sure if it’s a problem or not.
Any idea, or have you heard about this?
This happens on all citigos (and VW up's) , its because theres limited sound insulation between the cabin and front engine bay. Nothing to worry about just a characteristic of these small cars

I have a Mii and it's clutch is noisy. Normal by all accounts.

A Little Late But yes i have a 05/2018 Model and you get nice LEDs now for Day light. Facelift:)
Hi everyone I'm looking for my first car and at the moment it is either going to be a citygo or an up I love them both but I don't know which one to go for . I preferred the up but I think it looks too feminin can some one help please
Nathan Notley go for se trim to get air con etc and choose the one you like the look of. personally I think the citigo looks the best for male. but that may be an age thing.

brilliant car that gets you where you need to be without killing the planet. if you want to look bigger I guess you can get a Smokey transit or a Chelsea tractor.

Wow, another skoda review/advert - what a surprise what car.
no mention of gearbox issues that this group of cars suffers with
matt a what gearbox troubles the only ones I know of are the automatic which is set up for economy so is not like the old torque converter type.
David Middlewick they fitted a light weight manual gearbox which was a non vag part and have had problems with cluster rattle as a result
matt a our 2013 up manual transmission rattles like a diesel when it's cold from the transmission, normal for this model say vw, pile of rattling shit say I!
yes that's what's put me off buying one as vag put a light weight gearbox from a third party as there own gearbox wouldn't fit hence the cluster rattle poor shown on vags behalf
Had my citigo sport for almost three years now and I can't fault it,great little run around with superb economy.
Not as slow as people think it is,very nippy.
