To the Torajan people living in Sulawesi, Indonesia, funerals are so important they say they work hard in order to die. Torajan people believe in reincarnation and that water buffaloes insure that the next life is bountiful. So they have a ceremony where they catch water buffaloes and other animals like cows or pigs so they could lead the deceased comfortably and easily into the next life. Therefore, it takes a fortune for the funerals of the Torajan people and some keep the embalmed bodies at home for months or years until they save up enough money for a funeral. 토라자 족 하고는 결혼하지 말라고 하지요. 장례의식 때에 부조로 비싼 물소 , 돼지등을해야하다보니 친척들이 많아서 장례때문에 빚장이가 된다고하지요.. ㅎㅎ
