Apple Vision Pro Demo - Apple Store Experience
Meadowhall Apple Store Demo of Vision Pro.
I found the Apple Vision Pro Demo to be interesting- but the Apple Vision Pro to be heavy - at least twice as heavy as I expected.
Also the repetition of arm and finger movements, knob twisting and required eye movements to be tedious even after 30 minutes.
And the WEIGHT…
It immerses you, but by doing so seems to ISOLATE you from the in vivo, vastly wider, socially connected
contemporaneous unadulterated reality of our daily lives, which of course is stereoscopic in 3D anyway.
To me it seemed unconvincing, though of course that’s subjective.
I suspect many Apple Vision Pro are returned after the trial period.
It seemed to me that the immersion and 3d was less than convincing - though the actual tech seems very impressive- as was the first class tutorial and demo as given by the Apple Store Advisor.
On the upside, I found it very intuitive and easy to learn and I could fully operate it after the 30 minute demo.
It was a relief though to get the weight and pressure of the Apple Vision Pro off my face at the end of the demo.
Of course your experience may differ, but i’m now at home 4hrs later and I can still feel it on my face..
You may wish to consider trying one out, before committing to owning one..
