Wasn't that just beautiful! Brings back such happy memories. His name is pronounced Luther Vandross with a long "o" sound. I am amazed when I listen to the old songs how tender the words are and respectful of women. Today woman are often so objectified and the lyrics are downgrading them to a body part or making you believe all women want money. Rarely is tender love expressed. Think about it, if tender love is expressed in the songs we hear it then teaches people how to express tender love in their relationships. It makes me sad that the vast majority of love songs today are about breaking up and the bitterness that comes with it. I know those songs have a valuable place in music history, but so do the tender ones. The songs about being in each others arms and promising forever. So beautiful! You guys are doing a great job keep up the good work. I love your comments and hearing your perspective, so fresh and unique.
