    I've been a legit fan of Belmonte for about 5 years, now. And what I hate is that everybody calls me a fan because he wins a lot and he's just good, so I like him. Because you're wrong. When I was 9, I wanted to curve the ball, and I couldn't. So a guy tried to teach me to do it with 2 hands, and it was the only way to do it, because otherwise I would hurt my wrist. ANYWAYS, Once I found the PBA, I liked him because he bowled like I did.(That was my mindset as a 10 year Old.) Just last year, I bought myself the Storm Timeless(The ball he and Storm collaborated on) And he continues to be my bowling model and greatest inspiration when it comes to bowling. Now, I understand there will be a few people who might comment something completely stupid, about how I just ranted for no reason, but hey, good for you. I just thought I would share my bowling story. Have a good day(Enter L.A Beast face here)

      omg wow, u and i have the same reason for bowling two handed, I was trying to bowl one handed (no thumb) and then started to put my thumb in the ball to just get better revs, but i was told that i could seriously hurt my wrist, so i started bowling two handed

    • @BosslyDogBowling
      @BosslyDogBowling 5 років тому +3

      I started bowling 2 handed at 12 and before that I threw plastic balls 1 handed and sucked , after I taught myself to bowl 2 handed I found out about Belmo, and he inspired me to continue bowling like that, I am now 14 and average 215ish with a timeless, and a pitch black

    he will end his career with the most majors of all time and will easily enter bowling's hall of fame. he could do anything and everything there is to do in professional bowling and never be considered anything more than a cheater in some people's eyes, but to me he is already the GOAT and i think that's all that matters. #2hands

    • @jacewelsh8537
      @jacewelsh8537 6 років тому +1

      odellus he isn't the goat. Walter Ray Williams jr is the goat. no one will ever beat that many titles.

    • @odellus
      @odellus 6 років тому +18

      walter ray had less titles at 34 than belmo does now while walter was averaging 10 more event appearances a year and in many cases more than twice as many as belmo now, not to mention belmo intentionally does not participate in many tour title awarding events so that he can spend more time with his family in australia. belmo has eclipsed walter ray in major titles and set a record (among several others he owns) that will most likely not be broken for many years to come. it's pretty safe to say that belmo is the best bowler that has ever lived and he's not even close to being done yet. i'm sorry that you're in a position in life where negativity and hate seems like the easier path to take, i sincerely hope you find a better way. i know what it's like being like that, it's not healthy and i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. i would say you'll be in my prayers but i don't really pray so i hope you get the sentiment anyway, have a happy new year!

    • @jacewelsh8537
      @jacewelsh8537 6 років тому +2

      odellus I wasn't being negative. its too early in Belmontes career to say he is the goat. how about this, CURRENTLY the goat is Walter Ray Williams jr. better?

    • @odellus
      @odellus 6 років тому +3

      i can quote at least three examples from the comments section of this video alone of you being overly negative about belmo and completely apologetic and positive about everyone else so long as they're a one-hander. you do this on every single video with belmo or a two-hander in it. "actually if you're talking about who deserved it, Ryan deserved it the most because of the incredible work he put in." really? no on else put in incredible work? just stop. no, i don't agree with you. number of titles is not the end-all be-all metric for how great a bowler is or was. look at robert smith for example, do you really think he would have only won 7 titles if he didn't have a debilitating disease? of course not. number of titles is not a good metric for judging a player's skill, period. the fact of the matter is that no one in the history of the sport has ever dominated the absolutely stacked competition the way that belmo has, this means he is at a level above the rest that has never before been seen. and please don't give me this shit that it would be different if we had prime mark roth or earl anthony around; bowling has advanced so far past those days that they would be lucky to even cash in one of today's tournaments. bowlers today are more accurate, consistent, versatile, and smarter than they ever have been, one-handed or two. you don't see players falling off of every single shot like earl anthony or trying to muscle the ball as much as possible like mark roth (most don't do this, anyway) anymore for a reason. anyway, i'm done replying to you for the foreseeable future. you've made it clear that all you want to do is hate and for no good reason. good day.

    First of all, honor the winner Jason Belmonte, a great victory for this player from Australia, a country that must be very proud of him. I admit that I loved "wild" Jason playing bowling, world cup against the great Tommy John, two finals against Pete Webber, super crush against Sean Rash, etc. However, these three majors this year really make him one of the best players in history.

    This was the greatest tournament I have watched in recent years.
    It was a nail biter to the very end.
    This tournament was all about shot making and lane smithing.
    The player that could figure out where the best line was and hit that exact line to a millimeter every single time was the one who succeeded.
    I thank urethane for making a tournament where mistakes were not rewarded and shot making was a premium.
    I could hear Belmo, after making three shots, as he came on to the pair for the first time saying, "Ok, I am right in the middle of those" 57:24.
    He was feeling out the reaction and deciding where he needed to move his line.
    And we are talking only a 1/4 board move.
    All in all an amazing accomplishment of bowling skill and intelligence.
    I can say easily that the most skilled and intelligent bowler won and deserved his victory.

    1:10:51 My guess is Ciminelli's swing is a tiny bit too high which pushes the ball a little bit further out then delays the necessary devastating revolutions to stir up pin action. That's probably why even the ball gets right into the left pocket but pins do interact and only scored 7. Any other ideas?
