Thank you so much for sharing this with us - I live in Brisbane (born here) and having lived in most other major cities in Australia can honestly say that I believe that Brisbane is the best City to live in. You showed some amazing adventures which we mostly (sadly) take for granted but there is so much more to see and do. I walk Mount Coot-tha when I can and just love Eat Street. Lots of hidden gems though and welcome visitors to our little piece of paradise.
Good to see you got out of the CBD. I'm Brisbane born and I've lived here all my life. I'm very proud of this city. We have so many great attractions in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast it's just a great place to live as well as visit.

North Stradbroke Is &- Point Lookout area (off Brisbane). 4. Carnarvon Gorge (about 8 hours west-north of Brisbane, it's like going back to the time of the dinosaurs except with abundant modern day wildlife).

Those sand blows are on Moreton Island. There's ferries that go there and you can snorkel ship wrecks with hard coral and thousands of tropical fish ... look it up. Must do in Briss🤿. FYI those garden spiders are called orbs and non-venomous but will bite if mishandled

That's okay you can always come back later. So Brisbane and South East Queensland is very different compared to Sydney and Melbourne which have large and busy CBDs with a lot to do. Here, it's a lifestyle city and the Goldcoast is basically an extension of it with people choosing to enjoy the outdoors and all that nature has to offer. The beautiful year round sunny weather is the cherry on top. There are incredible coastal and hinterland places to visit. People here love driving their SUVs/Utes and going up or down the coast during the weekends with their families.

Thank you so much! We shot these videos in March, but editing takes time 🙈😬. We’re still in Australia, and during the day temperatures can get around 23 C/75 F, but early morning and at night it’s cold. It’s getting warmer now, and by next month it will probably be only slightly colder than March in Brisbane, but probably still cold in Melbourne. Even at during summer sometimes I had a sweater on. NZ tends to be colder, as it winds a lot. Enjoy your trip! Both countries are amazing 🤩

All depends. A coffee is like $5 Australian. If you look at McDonalds Australia prices or Subway you can get a feel for lower end prices. Lunch deals are $15, dinner deals are $20 so you pay more for non-deal menu. Museums are free and lots to see for free. I hope that helps.

All depends. A coffee is like $5 Australian. If you look at McDonalds Australia prices or Subway you can get a feel for lower end prices. Lunch deals are $15, dinner deals are $20 so you pay more for non-deal menu.
