Coyote Hunting (Four Down On One Stand + 720 Yard Dirt Nap) ~ 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10 ~

- Awesome hunt helping out ranchers ! We dropped a whole pack of Four Coyotes and connected on one at 720 yards!
We have been super Impressed with the @gowilsoncombatTactical Hunter Model WC-10 Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Its sporting an 18 inch 1:8 Twist Fluted Barrel. This gun has shot several 5 shot groups under 0.5 inches @ 100 Yards with an average SD of 4 on the Chronograph (5 shots). We are shooting the @lehighdefense130 Grain Controlled Chaos Bullets on all these coyotes. Once entering the chest cavity the top half of the bullet fractures into multiple petals which impacts a much larger surface area for hitting vital organs, blood vessels and the CNS! The base of the bullet continues through providing an exit!
The @ICOtecGameCalls Nightstalker & Outlaw Predator Call used in this video both have a 300+ Yard remote range, the ability to play two sounds at one time, are super lightweight and have a ton of volume. The large speaker produces crystal clear sounds at high volume for those windy days or really reaching out and pulling in those far out coyotes! The new open reed and closed reed mouth calls produce phenominal sounds, are made of silicon so they do not make noise while you are walking.
We are now using the @AtncorpOptics X-Sight 4k Day/Night Line of optics on all our hunts. In this video we were using the ATN 4k 5x model paired with the ATN ABL 1500 Rangefinder. With one press of a button on the scope the rangefinder ranges and instantly moves the reticle for a dead on hold for the range and load you are using. It also records through the scope so you can capture and share your hunt or look back at the shot to make sure it was a good one. The range is also displayed/recorded through the optic! - Спорт

(1) Excellent shooting. I'm an old but long-time hunter with 6.5mm cartridges. Among those was the venerable .264 Win Mag which served me well, given proper bullet weights, from Whitetail to Mulie, to Elk. The 6.5mm Creedmoor is the latest terrific innovation thereof. (2) Phenomenal videography. Acquiring the target, at range, final focus, whether telephoto-ed or wide-angle: Superb!! Lead On!
What is incredible to me is that in all your videos you have very little or have no cover at all. You guys are always sitting right in the open and still manage to call those coyotes fairly close for a shot. I'm from AZ and I always have to have some big boulder, bush or tree trunk behind or infront of me. Congrats on another killer vid!
Yea some areas we hunt have absolutely no cover. We sit stone still until they make a move then we make ours. Leaves absolutely no margin for error. The instant one of us gets caught moving, it's usually over. Holly doesn't like me to say this but In cattle county wearing black long sleeve t-shirts or sweatshirts sitting together really helps us in this type of environment as well! 😉

I just started hunting coyotes. My grandpa lets me use his Remington 700 22-250. Most of my shots are 150-225 yards do you know of any budget good shooting 6.5 creedmoor rifles. I’m trying keep it sub 1500 and I got a pretty solid vortex diamondback I was going to put on my ruger American for deer hunting but I didn’t change it

The only thing I can't give yall props on is the cheater scopes 🤣😂🤣😂 getcha a standard scope where you gotta work your distance/windage/humidity... get too caught up in that tech n you lose the skillset it takes to do these shots without all the fancy tech, what u gonna do if it breaks n China can't/won't send the replacement parts to repair that fancy toy?.. now don't get me wrong, I'm downright jealous of that 6.5 Creedmoor and the work done on it (so I'm a bit sour 🤣😂).. but be real with yourself, ya still that deadly operating without your fancy gadgets?

Hey how's it going!! Yes it sure is. It's called the ATN X-Sight 4k Optic. Can record videos during the day like in this video and at night with the included IR illuminator. I have the ATN ABL 1500 Rangefinder attached that bluetooths with the scope. When I press the ranging button on the scope the rangefinder ranges and gives the shooter an instant aiming point for the load and range you are shooting. You can watch this happen in this video at 7:46. In the lower right part of the screen you can see the distance changing as the rangefinder is ranging.

Because we don't have many people hunting these pests they are plentiful here in Indiana. A good friend of mine just last week found her Guineas killed by at least one Coyote.
