I am fascinated by the huge distance where the coyotes stand and still the weapon as well as your skills make the kill works. The coyotes have almost no chance, even though their fur is imitating almost perfectly their environment.

I'll tell you what impresses me as someone who is all about humanity etc - is that almost all your kills are very well executed. Just instant lights out. Even the ones who hop about for a few seconds... I dare say compared to the grizzly death a calf or fawn can look forward to being torn apart by a pack of these things... The critters are getting a swift and merciful end. I have relatively limited shooting experience being in the UK but I know enough to see that is excellent shooting.

What do you use for a scope. I just purchased a Rock River 6 5 creedmoor and am scope shopping… Tnanks,
I was never to thrilled about the 6.5 Creedmoor so I did my AR 10 in 6.5 - 284 Norma then made the second upper in 6mm - 284 Win.
The 6.5 mm is a great bullet diameter with light bullets up to 160 grain bullets.
I am doing a new AR 10 upper in 375 WSM with Pac Nor barrels working on getting the barrel now.
If anyone wants an AR 10 in one of the WSM cartridges the WSM AR 10 bolts are sold from KAK Industries.
Nothing a Swift or 243 can’t do.
@@swede5209 For coyotes when you don't intend to keep the pelts nothing is off the table for whacking them.
Utah has a coyote bounty program that pays $50 per coyote for the scalp and lower jaw so I often use the 300 Wby mag or 7 mm Rem mag leaded with 125 grain ballistic tip.
I put together an AR 10 upper in 308 so I could shoot from the 2 boxes of 2400 each per box of 147 grain FMJ bullets I was given free.
I bought some small primer Peterson 308 brass because large rifle primers aren't any places to be found.
Next trip to make some cash on Utah coyotes the 308 is going with me.

What bullet grain are you using for the 6.5 creedmoor? Do you reload for it?
He uses 130gr Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos Bullets and I am not sure if he reloads them or not. I bet he does.

What barrel length do you run on your 6.5?
The Wilson Combat Tactical Hunter we are using has an 18 in barrel.
@@coyotedown If you want even better AR 10 in a 6.5 you can do a 6.5 WSM .
The WSM bolts are sold from KAK industries with also uppers the port has been opened for the WSM cartridge.
I use Pac Nor super match barrels.
My AR 10 uppers are in 6 mm - 284 win / 6.5 - 284 Norma and new one in the works is in 375 WSM.
Upcoming AR 10 uppers I plan to do are a 7 mm WSM.
