Hey Daniel 👋😄 My Moustache 18 arrived in the post from Germany today 🌟🌟🌟 And I'm really looking forwards to taking it out. One question... In this amazing video, did you log how far you flew? Because it did look "endless" 😁👍 Cheers, Simon
@@Flyingtree Thanks for the reply. That's about what I guessed. Really amazing, and inspiring flight. 🤩👍 My closest dunes have several river outlets making usual paragliders "give up, and turn back"... ... I'm wondering if the Moustache will be able to leap across. 🤔 Sounds like a fun challenge. 😎👍👍 Thanks again, and safe flying. 👋😄
Hey Daniel, 😄👍 I took my new Mo 18 to the beach for the first time yesterday, and although it was great, I must have something to fix, because the controls were too heavy after only 5 minutes flying. 😮 I wonder if the wind speed was too low (about 6 m/s), or if my harness is not set up right, for the Moustache? The dune was pretty low, too, only 3-8 metres tall. Watching your video again, you seem to be at high-speed most of the way, where the controls are pretty light. And just swooping occasionally. Any thoughts? Thanks, Simon
The brakes are heavier. But you can definitely fly a good hour with it. Maybe you just didn't have enough wind. Did you have the brakes on the carabiners?
@@Flyingtree Ah yes 😄 I understand... A lot of the time, the brake toggle was almost as low as the carabiners... ...this must mean "not enough wind". 🤣🤣🤣 So, it's my fault for being impatient. 🤩👍 Thanks again. 🤗
Always try to take some speed with you in a good lift. More speed, more buoyancy. And little rocking. And if there is little wind always start somewhere up so you have more wind. And a big dune is definitely helpful 😎

I think it’s almost 10km but I’m not really sure. I don’t think you will regret your Moustache… ever….;)

@siskygod44 the mustache is perfect to go over bigger gaps. Have fun!! ;)

@@Flyingtree Thanks. Yes, not enough wind, and a low dune... 🤔
What do you mean "brakes on the carabiners"?
Among the carabiners it gets hard and also inefficient. Everyone knows the feeling of not being able to wait for the right 🌬️
