I had this cassete with our Sanyo M2670F player! My father bought the player in march of 1991, and it worked in our family until around 2003. Good memories.
What i noted about this Sanyo demonstration cassette tape is that the printing of the cassette label was unusual as it was done in upside down position.
Hi Ian! Never heard of this before, quite a quirky thing! I always recall seeing Sanyo products back in the 70s at Clapham Junction's former Arding & Hobbs department store. They used to have POS signage proclaiming "See Sanyo then decide". Fascinating fact though, my uncle once told me that the inventors of the Compact Cassette, Philips, endorsed a fee payment to them for every cassette made by any of their rivals, presumably under some kind of patent/licence. Maybe they were simply years ahead?
