My father bought this VCR in the early 80s and I took my first steps towards programming on this thing. It is also how I learned military time. I used this video to help me understand the recording part and the OTR button. The VCR saw so much action, we had to change the head twice.
This national VCR video demonstration was for Middle East market as indicated by Arabic instructions and the VCR was PAL/SECAM model as Middle East region uses SECAM broadcasting system.
This reminds me back in the early '80s when a video like that would've be shown in stores. I suppose what was shown here would not've been shown in the USA. Thanks to UA-cam, I could watch videos like this!

We had a Panasonic nv 333 which was similar to this . Loved that vcr , only thing that bugged me was the cue / review didn’t lock down , you had to keep your finger on it .
Hi can someone please tell me what is the location of the picture on the VHS cover at 1:00 ? I have been fascinated since I was a child. I know it's Osaka. But can't find the exact location. Big thanks to anyone who tries to help :)
This particular demonstration is targeted for gulf region! Hence the Arabic is highlighted here! Secondly gulf states particular Dubai had a boom on selling VCRs and people especially coming from Pakistan and India would pride themselves as a status symbol throughout the 80s with all due respect that is!
